Cheers Kev, great video. I had an old gas bottle laying around just waiting for you to pick this video up. The old man is a keen watcher of your video too. 👍🏼🍻🍻
we will be travelling almost full time for the net 18 months or more from mid January net year this year has been about getting dollars in the bank and getting the new tow vehicle cheers kev
The irony of the statement "Its not rocket science" as you angle grind the top off a gas bottle...🤣 Very nice design - simple, effective and cheap. The pork makes me salivate...can I have some please? 😋 These videos are very good - thank you.
the smoky taste of pork cooked on a spit with a wood fire is something else and a great reason to sit have a beer and watch it cook ,perfect for a sunday roast cheers
Gooday, My name is Joe and i enjoy watching your videos. It is now15th, October and the time is16.30. One question i have and it is, fantastic idea with the fire pit but do you ever have in issue with regards the weight in your van and vehicles. Thanks Joe
Hi Joe we do keep a good eye on our weights thats why we are setting up a new tow vehicle at the moment we can take either the quad or the tinny we cannot take both but with the new ranger and with all the modifications we will be able to take both and still remain under our legal gvm cheers kev
Can i ask what Paint you used to paint black and would you have a photo of the angles you made to hold the Rotisserie----i have the gas bottle cut and ready to go --love your videos
we used Hi temperature exhaust paint it works well until you start spilling salt water on it when cooking crabs ,then it tends to start rusting anyway but for home use or just as a fire pit it works well. don't really have photos of the arms but just 90 deg and out about 200 mm works well , Battery powered rotisserie kit is from bunnings cheers Kev
Bundy hot gas behind autobarn they remove the tap before they sell them try to get one with the larger top ring/handle it makes it more stable cheers kev
sorry for the late reply the plate was a bit of scrap I picked up at the local scap steel mob but it is 6mm plate and 220 mm diameter anything even close or even a bit larger will work well cheers Kev
we are setting up for our next adventures now ,new tow vehicle has arrived waiting for the suspension upgrades to be done ,chassis stretch ,tray and custom canopy with boat loader to be built, then next january we leave on one of many trips for the year first one down south including the great ocean rd then later in the year to the NT and onto ahrnem land and onto the kimberly then 2025 will be tassie for a few months ,we are both retiring at the end of this year at least for a while anyway cheers Kev
