If you need to add a scribe piece to the end of a cabinet in the future, don't caulk it. Take a compass and measure the widest spot from the wall. Set the compass to that width. Run it from top to bottom to make a line that perfectly mirrors the imperfections in the wall. Then, take a wire wheel and grind the scribe piece down to the line, leaving a slight angle towards the back. The only spot that will touch will be the front edge.
There are two things that makes life easier and that is been able to fix up your home yourself and fix your car yourself. Those two items cost people so much money so can you imagine how much money you can save by doing the work yourself. Superb video Stefani all the way from England UK.
While everything is sped up in a video I don't think people appreciate how much work and how much detail goes into this type of project. You are a very impressive hard worker
Love your attention to detail. Most DIYers cover their crappy work and mistakes with styling, but yours needed none of that and was done beautifully. Great job!
When you said that the sliding doors were heavy I got flashbacks to when I was trying to install my pax sliding doors. I got my pax wardrobe for really cheap on a secondhand market. The reason it was cheap was because everything was bent and crocked. Luckily I did not have the even heavier mirrored door. Great result!
Hi Stefani! WOW! Your craftsmanship and installation skills are outstanding! Some suggestions on work attire and safety. Proper work shoes, no bare feet! comfortable work gloves and knee pads. And as always.....eye, dust and hearing protection, etc.! Keep up the fantastic quality work! 👷♀️🦸♀️💪👍😀
This is awesome! Thanks for sharing. I'm in the process if building a closet from scratch in our spare bedroom and this makes way more sense then starting from nothing!
AWESOME JOB. I don't know how you do it. It is such a lot of work. Especially handling that doors. I considered taking off my sliding mirror doors so I could access inside my closet to redo a set of drawers - but decided not to, in case I could not get them back on again!!! Wouldn't THAT be a nightmare!!! If you have never seen the channel : Charlie DIYte, he is really worth watching (not as good as you) but almost, he does all his own built-ins too (in the UK). I am watching both of your channels.
Excellent work! The only issue I have with IKEA is that I have to wait like two months for stuff to come in when I place an order. I think I would have bounced off the ceiling if I had cracked one of those mirrors.
Very Nice Job. After having put a ton of Ikea stuff together I found that they were more than happy to replace stuff that I screwed up. Mainly because the screw ups were the result of bad engineering on their part. Doesn't cost anything to ask.
I’m finding the PAX doors a real pain. The flush door slides free and smooth but the ‘top’ door seem a bit sticky. The fully loaded door is quite heavy with the glass, good job on lifting it 👍 I have the 75cm sliding doors in black with mirror and they are a real @&&£ to lift into place !!
Amazing job, as usual! Congrats! I had an idea about the broken mirror... what about making a thin piece of frame made of wood, or even aluminum, (painted black) and gluing in place?
Another excellent closet, great job Stefani! As you might recall I did my master closet similar to your original closet. Redid my daughter's in a Stefaniesque style as well. Thanks for the inspiration, keep them coming.
Another perfect project is done. Love seeing you work your magic. Great job, girl. Am definitely going to try that pain. Saw that they sell it at Home Depot. My favorite store. Thanks for sharing.
As much as I am glad that your master bath is bigger my heart hurts to know the closet had to get taken down. 🥺 It’s exactly my predicament. My closet has been sitting gutted and unfinished for months. 👀 I am totally going to build it similar to your closet but I also know at some point I also want to take out the wall and expand. Which means Taking apart the closet. Idk what to do.
How would you rate the paint adhesion to the Ikea cabinets? Seems like it might be difficult to get paint to properly adhere to melamine (like?) surface.

Came out looking great!!! I also must agree that the moonwalk was impeccable!!! Lol...
Thank you, thank you💃
Love your attention to detail. Most DIYers cover their crappy work and mistakes with styling, but yours needed none of that and was done beautifully. Great job!
Paint spraying is so much quicker but the masking, prepping and cleaning take so much longer than the actual spray painting. Great job 👍🏻
Shoe covers while spray painting is a great idea!

Love the crawl in the closet shot.
Great job! You took IKEA to the next level
Excellent work! The only issue I have with IKEA is that I have to wait like two months for stuff to come in when I place an order. I think I would have bounced off the ceiling if I had cracked one of those mirrors.
I hear you!! I had to order random colors just to get my order shipped in time.
That is a very nice job. I know it's hard work but you make it look easy. Great to see another quality build from you.
You are amazing... I followed your pantry tutorial step by step and I am so in love with my pantry now. Your tutorials are so easy to follow.
I'm so glad to hear that!
Great video! But the moonwalk across the rug... did you arc a bolt of lightning when you touched something conductive? :)
Very Nice Job. After having put a ton of Ikea stuff together I found that they were more than happy to replace stuff that I screwed up. Mainly because the screw ups were the result of bad engineering on their part. Doesn't cost anything to ask.

Looks great! How did you get rid of the gap between the wall and trim on the left of the first cabinet?
Nice safety glasses. 😎😁
😎😎
Great job ! Love the style of glass. What is the light color of the walls ?
You r the best. Respect and thanks from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷
If you paint that style fan with chalk paint from rustoleum they look really nice. Just an FYI.
Thanks for the tip!
Looks AMAZING!
This is so cute!! I'm inspired! Can you link your tools please
Absolutely love this
Excellent build! Do you have a link to the side door handles?
Great job! It looks beautiful!
Everyone’s talking about how well the cabinets turned out - and rightfully so - but can we also mention your killer moonwalking moves?! 💃
I watch that twice, loved it!
Thank you, thank you 💃😉
Turned out nice... you should've cut the electrical plug out, that way you could have installed a strip of LED lights.
That would've been cool!
As much as I am glad that your master bath is bigger my heart hurts to know the closet had to get taken down. 🥺

Idk what to do.
Dressers / rolling wardrobe rack may be a good (temporary) solution?
She’s very easy on the eye and incredibly talented. 10/10 in the wifey department!
gross
Wow...this is beautiful
can you please make a video where you show how to order Ikea PAx Wardrobe? How you build all items together. Thanks
This is exactly what I needed! ♥️♥️
Awesome work. Very talented.
Beautifully done 🖤 Thank you for sharing 🙏🏻
Wow...just amazing
I wish those sliding doors came on hinges as well.
looks so good. you're a beast 💪
You got some fancy moves lol The wardrobe came out great, nice job.
How would you rate the paint adhesion to the Ikea cabinets? Seems like it might be difficult to get paint to properly adhere to melamine (like?) surface.
I'm wondering the same...
It doesn’t adhere well at all. It scrapes right off and looks terrible. I learned the hard way.
Beautiful job
Very nice project!
