I started playing a few days ago and I'm getting ABSOLUTELY destroyed and I mean I can't even do shit like I'm constantly in the air and beaten up, the game is fun tho but it's sometimes annoying that I have to play constantly against people way out of my league
You’ll eventually get better playing sweats, might sound funny but getting wrecked is what makes you better, I was kind of in a similar situation in storm til I got better just off playing players who are 100x better than me and slayer too so it’s possible but takes patience

I thought fighting games was easy. This shit was so hard it took me 7 tries to get one win. I have never played fighting games so this was hard.

As someone who never really played fighter games before, why am I the only one? Have only played a few games but everyone I played against were some mega sweats.
That might seem to be the case but that's probably because you don't know as much stuff as they do yet, I felt the same way when I played mortal Kombat x and the same way with Tekken, the key is learning more about the game, other people who play fighter games automatically know to look for a guide for a game, hence why even now a decent fighter game player who knows about most fighter games will be here for a guide, it's kinda like you have to take knowledge and then practice it and implement it to get better, that's the way I see fighter games at least
But at the same time it is understandable because this is very simalar to ninja storm so almost everyone is gonna be sweaty

game already sweaty n toxic lol water wheel spammers, attack cancels into grabs, some people constantly attacking nonstop. i’m all for the advanced gameplay and competitiveness but i’m not trying to deal with another “Storm 4 Minato main” like community 😂

@@Dextursmage you can cancel. But can't go immediately into a combo like in Storm. In Storm is: combo + jump cancel + shuriken in mid air + continue combo.
@@diz2858 they aren’t ninja though. I think they were trying to to stay true to the source material which is mostly ability based.
The movement isn’t the best but expecting it to be exactly like storm is a bit unrealistic. Although I had hoped each character had like a tilt mechanic to make them more unique so I understand.

Not gonna lie this game is fun i love how it has alot of options with what it gives you compared To most of these gsnedbut this type of game isn't really refered to as a fighting game that term (by most standards) refers to games like guilty gear, melty blood, kof, tekken ect. Games that have competition play in mind while being developed.
Games like this are in a weird spot. They’re still absolutely fighting games, that’s the overall genre. The “real fighting games” if you will are classified as such because they’re dummy hard for new players to get into.
Casual players receive the short end of the stick, games like this are accessible to pretty much every one, and allow anyone to get good.

this game is not what i expected and favors spammers, i stopped playing :(
you can easily counter spammers tho
I am a beginner and I have already found many ways to stop spam. Push block jump or dodge back, boost knockback, hard attack, ultimate against hard attacks, grab against hard attacks. I also started Melty Blood before this game and it is harder to stop the spams in that game then this one.
