Let's hope he makes character breakdowns for this game like he does for dragon ball fighterz
He said later this week
You're not the only one
Someone did not watch until the end of the video
This needs 4 comments for max unluckiness
On god
Combos in this game are insane, I just discovered a 100% Sabito combo and boy oh boy, it’s op
sharing is caring... :|
I'm pretty sure you can find a 100 percent combo with anyone with surge, it took me a few minutes to find for other characters
@@ourlordandsaviorzamasu2804 hit five times then down special, normal special and ultimate lvl3
@@Ksksmeyer Does it work on characters with high defense values too?
Bro please post it
This channel made me love fighting games the love and effort that goes into these videos is outstanding,I would love a character breakdown for tanjuro both hinokami and water breathing
Man now this sells me on a game. I love combat with resource management mechanics so this up my alley. Better than any trailer to me
i hope you have fun, also don't forget that the roaster is kinda small atm, but there are 6 upcoming characters as free DLC, and they might add even more characters (and maybe story missions) when season 2 comes out
@@justyouraveragehumanbeing7411 I want uzui so bad I pray season 2 game content is released, or like imagine yahaba and susamaru as one character susumaru obviously being dps but yahaba would be one of the demon specials which are now confirmed
@@garthalmunemuralias9101 yes.
I enjoyed how you broke this down for everyone to easily digest. It was solid.
I say this often but your channel deserves a lot more love, so much effort put into your breakdowns & guides!
Me using funni water tanjiro combo (full basic attack combo into water wheel straight into waterfall basin into a full basic attack combo into an assist and water wheel, very easy to learn and execute plus it does very good damage, probably one of my favourite combos in the game)
Try changing that second water wheel into a whirlpool and see if the damage goes up
@@R_Dodoso the only reason I don’t do that is if you have them up against the wall you can go for another full basic combo into a water wheel which add more damage than a whirlpool but I’ll use the whirlpool when I don’t have them up against the wall, thanks for the tip :)
@@rellik6580 yeah, but you can't go to a full combo after the water wheel, cause they can block. Only if they fail to react, but that would enter in a kind of reset situation. To max the combo without having to rely on that, whirlpool would finish better I guess
The difference from globku content to other RUclipsrs is that he really explains the pros and cons of everything leaving instead of saying use rengoku or something. Nice vid overall learned one important thing from this which was the hit scale thing🙏🏾
Loving these demon slayer vids keep it up Glob
Great video!
I've been grinding demon slayer to get to this kind of level. First fighting game I've had enough interest in to genuinely work to get better and better. I picked up Enmu yesterday and I'm pretty damn decent. Learned it all from Globku videos.
Absolutely the most usefull hinokami chronicles videos I’ve seen so far. Thanks!
Thanks man, great video, just copped this on sale and am watching this while it installs.
A shinobu or zenitsu breakdown would be great! Their skills pierce so I sometimes find it hard to reliably combo with them. There’s been many times where I thought I had a combo then in the middle of it there’s enough time for my opponent to start blocking
Started watching your videos this week, this was very helpful! I made sure to sub :)
This video along with character combo videos will help people immensely
I just started getting into this game.
This Video was a great help nice job 👍
This was of great help to building out a framework of how to think about the game.
Just got the game this year and as a beginner this helped tremendously so thank you 🙏🏾
Awesome video! I'd love to see an Inosuke breakdown. :)
I'm a rengoku main coming up on almost 100 games. I've played with him so much I can't get the feel for anyone else. His lack of pressure on opponent's guard has cost me some matches but he is the character I respect the most in the series
I love playing Inosuke his attitude matches my aggressive playing style and was already my favorite character in the anime
As a breakdown I think you could do in order, or start with the one you already know much, like Hinokami.
You really are a gem bro
Yea sir this is what I needed
A Giyu breakdown would be awesome! His ultimate is tricky to combo into
What no?! You just do it at the end of his light attack.. I hate giyu! Damn bastard lol
You just have to make sure that the opponent doesn't have full bar of assist
Facts😞
Do it when they dash at you 😭 easiest ult in that scenario. Especially when they in surge or whatever
@@frankyDavalos That sounds awesome. Ill try that
How to combo? Last time you did that you made a video like this, you created the "normal combo" for FighterZ lol
This helped me holy smokes
Thanks for this very insightful I've been getting wrecked online lmao I'm so bad.
Love how cool it is to combo
thank you Tito Ed
hell yes🔥
That's a easy one break down RENGOKU the Goat!
I was so surprised to see a few combos I made up while messing around were also in here!
Hinokami tanjiro breakdown would be awesome 👌
im already exited for the turnaments
Thank god this Video helped me a Lot because i normaly drop my combos😂
I know people have spoken about how they aren't a fan of the character roster, but I genuinely think the gameplay of this game looks like an earnest improvement over the Storm series. It feels like with how freeform the combo system is and with how there's no mechanic like Substitution or Just Guard (the assist is the closest to a Substitution like mechanic, and even then it has a high cost) CC2 are trying to address complaints regarding their games and other arena fighters having a lack of depth. Of course it's still not as deep as traditional fighting games or even something like Pokken, but I think the effort on display here is admirable.
The only thing that sticks out as needing an improvement is that I think the ground game looks kinda one dimensional. Only thing it looks like the defender can do during HKD is call an assist and the attacker doesn't really seem to have much options themselves.
your videos are good
You have to do zenitsu because he probably has the hardest combos cause his ability pierces
Zenitsu just requires assist
I one hundred percent agree with you bc when I was doing the spider fight and the tongue demon fight in story mode
I wasnt exactly sure how to combo his moves
Can we just take a moment to appreciate how much time and effort goes into these videos? Like this is going to help me a ton!
Nice✨🤝
So.. Globku where are those breakdowns you've mentionted? I started to play the game recently, trying to find my way into 3D fighting games. So those breakdowns like you did for dbfz would be more than helpful!
Definitely need that zenetsu breakdown Bc I Frl like I can get more damage from my combos
big fan
A rengoku breakdown would be lit 🔥
Yeah this online scene is looking ridiculously fun. Probably the most fun I’ve had with an arena fighter in quite some time, surprised myself at how well I could play amongst those online (for some reason I get anxiety playing online competitive games).
So far my mains are:
1. Shinobu
2. Inosuke
3. Rengoku/Hinokami Tanjiro
Haven’t really played as much with everyone else but yeah, so far so good! And playing on PS5 the lag is definitely bearable.
I’ve never played this game but I’m getting it on Nintendo for Christmas!
Globku I've just got demon slayer and I'm on the 8th part and I remember in one of your videos that you said that ps4 version of the game has all of the controls are delayed but now for me it's not in one day I want to fight to in demon slayer
Glad to know the best opitions, so I can cry myself to sleep cause my main has no optimal anithing. 🙂
Globku you should start left to right on the roster starting with tanjiro and ending with... Well tanjiro haha
Sokanji's trap is a combo extender by the way. As it's special by way of being a trap. I extend my combos with them too.
I recommend starting with the weaker characters for breakdowns.
@globku can u make a video when u try to pull 100% combo online?
For character specific videos I'd like Nezuko first! And would you put out a video if they ever patch the delay in the Playstation 4 version? I want to get the game really bad but when I watched your review video explaining the delay I've been putting it off until it gets patched. Could you put out a video stating that it's been patched if it ever is?
Hope you do a breakdown for Giyu
I would really like to see a Giyu breakdown!
I was doing some testing and found out that if you time a assist right you can combo Rengoku's rising slashes into his ult if you hit with the assist first the easiest assists to do this with in my opinion was hinokami Tanjiro and Zenitsu
Edit1: this also works with Shinobu's poison skill into ult
My favourite combo is to use Alana and dash to the enemy then use the base special move which is just Y/ triangle and then I follow up with RB Y/ R1 Triangle and repeat this and if you get the ultimate art, after you do the block special move you use the ultimate art while they’re in the air.
I love using giyu and I use nezuko as an assist because it's good.
For combos I try to bait dead calm (not very hard when you have 1 second delay)
And then early in the match I'll just do □×4, Dash, □×4, Dash, □×3, water wheel.
It might look like you're using 3 bars but in actuality you regen a bar back while doing the auto combos. So after the soft knock down with water wheel you will have 3 bars to do another combo.
If im trying finish them off I'll do □×4, water wheel, constant flux, Dash (immediately after landing), □×2, water wheel. It uses a lot but if they're low it'll kill.
If I got a super I'll just □×4, Dash, □×4, Dash, □×4, super and there goes their health.
They prob aren't optimal but neither is the net code so I don't bother getting very good.
order request:
1-Zenitsu/ Tanjiro (the best one)
2- Rengoku/Giyu
3-Inosuke
Thank you for the information ☺️! I think you should just go down the roster to keep it simple , but that's just my opinion.
Sheeeesh
I have been labbing combos for Shinobu. She probably has the best air combos in the game.
I love games with freeflowing combo systems.
You missed that parry is actually the best combo opener, giving a dark green combo timer and enabling the longest combos.
I find it interesting that noone is really complaining about the input lag. Me and a friend of mine got this game on preorder. I'm on ps5 but he's on PS4. We can't even really play together because of it.
Is really no terrible. Offline is fine, onlin fighters will always have lag. It’s just what it is
Please do a Zenitsu breakdown first, really want to main him but he´s so specific to play
Zenitsu start ups are slow if you aren't using his tilt skill
I recommend dsgaming, he showed me almost everything I know about zenitsu and im undefeated in rank so far my best tip is learn how to spam and cancel heavy attacks
Yes i recommend DSgaming.. His #1 zenitsu player right now and he explains things well..
Try side dodging the whole match. I can be countered on higher levels, but at the start, nobody knows what to do against his dodge speed, it's so annoying
zenitzus biggest weakness is his combo starters, in that i mean he has only 1 which is his light if any of his other moves worked as combo starters he’d be the best character in the game but for now you’re working with a red or yellow timer
Maining Nezuko rn she’s really fun to play
If you use an up combo and after that you use a dash for continue de up combo with a air combo the dash make 100 points of damage, this does not happen when you use a neutral combo and then a dash for continue the combo only happens with the up combo to dash and air combo, that is a nice detail.
I'm most interested in a Shinobu or Giyu guide. I'm still on the fence about buying this, and I think those two are the ones who will influence my choice the most.
If you haven't done it already, I'd love it if you did a breakdown on Nezuko.
lemme get some combos for bbgirl Shinobu, her skills make it kinda tricky to keep the combo count decent when trying to ult
A zenitsu breakdown since he seems like the hardest character
I like how you can do water kamado grab after waterfall basin lmao (Oh yea and Rengoku can get 5000 dmg combo without burst, surge, nor super)
Lets start with hinokami tanjiro 🙌🏽🙌🏽
I would like to see a character moveset breakdown for Rengoku, Hinokami tanjiro, or inosuke
Can you make a video about what type of character each character is, like let’s say murata was a support character
SABITOOOO PLZ this man feeels cool
Different skills = more damage
- rengoku mains: I’m just gonna pretend I didn’t see that
This is what I need after an exhausting school day and a renewed game pass ultimate.
Trying to make my normal characters Tanjiro and Shinobu but I have no idea how to make Shinobu good so might use Rengoku?
I already have a good Tanjiro combo though, which will be my main optimal combo
Uptilt AAAA > Dash > AA > tS > S > AA (only 2nd attacks hit) > gS
About 4200 damage I think
you can also do an ultimate art by going to the ground with waterfall basin instead of water wheel, then attack and dash then ultimate art
Anyone who's played jumpforce or the storm series should have a really easy time playing this game getting some true combos in is always good too
I think you should start from the firsts characters in the roster sense some people haven’t fully unlocked all characters and should be good for beginners.
That was a FANTASTIC VIdeo =D THanks, I learned a lot from it =)
About Character Breakdowns: I would either say go in the route of how they unlocked are sorted the games select screen (So Tanjiro, Nezuko, Urokodaki, Makomo, Sabito, Zen'itsu, Inosuke, Murata, Giyu, Shinobu, Rengoku, Hinokami Tnajiro) or start with Zen'itsu, I just love playing with him xD
Tip for beginners: urokodaki can make a devestating combo and it isnt difficult. Start with a water wheel towardd your opponent (hold it so it does it a bit longer) then just spam light attacks and then another extended whater wheel. Almost always atleast 18 hits
I need a rengoku breakdown
I want Sabito break down please !
Tanjiro breakdown first!
Oh ok so I've been doing EVERYTHING wrong when it comes to combos ....niceeee
Do breakdown for giyu shinobu Murata and other unique character
I just do whatever looks the most flamboyant
Please do inosuke he got a pretty good starter with his tilt special and i really wanna know some good extensions for this
Can you do a makomo or sabito breakdown those are the 2 I’m most curious about.
when you reacted to akaza gameplay trailer, you sad that you counted 4 skills, so my guess is that one of those skills would replace the assist hablity, sepending half of the assist charge
Akaza when hes out of course
I and my friend actually did a voiceover of Akaza vs Rengoku if your interested.
Dashing in deadly as you can parry it
For combo videos maybe rengoku or giyu? Because rengoku being fairly popular would be nice to see how he can be optimized. Giyu I just have a hard time comboing with
Lets see a renguko breakdown
I need that sabito combo guide quick 😓
I love this game.
I feel like it takes the principles of Naruto Storm and builds on its strengths, making a more competitive game that is crazy good.
The Storm games are alright but they feel hollow at least to me. Substitutions and the restrictions on skill options (only 2 skills) feels like it throttles the potential for the game for me, which is helped slightly in team play.
This game takes that, adds more options, and makes decision making more important.
Do you boost later for damage or now for your tag meter? Use your ultimate or save it for later? Save tag for substitution or use it to open your opponent? Or to extend your combo while your skill meter is low?
