@Content_enjoyer maybe that's the problem. People don't even play like they used to. And politicians seems like they were grown in a test tube or a witches cauldron.
In 2004 I was living in Fort Collins Colorado. The local House of Representatives member. Wanted to limit Americans to 10 Rounds magazines. He was giving a speech somewhere and I stop by. I went spotted at least six of his security guards. One was carrying a fully automatic M&P 5 with a 30 round magazine inserted. His other bodyguards had the biggest capacities of handguns at the time. When when I asked him the politician to limit his security detail to the same 10 round magazine limit. Also no fully automatic weapons for him. He said that he was a politician and needed the protection and that he was not going to limit the choices of his security guards. But he still expected us to pay for his fully automatic weapons and bodyguards to protect him out of our pockets not his. So I made sure everybody in town knew what a hypocrite he was and that he wanted to limit our second amendment rights but not limit his bodyguards that we paid for. What a damn hypocrite he was thrown out of office the next election. Which is what should happen to every politician that wants to limit our constitutional rights no matter what level of government they be at.
Bobcat, how about joining the John Birch Society and helping us educate fellow voters on the entire Constitution? We need all the help we can get, especially in saving Arizona from the likes of Katie Hobbs. Once Kari Lake becomes governor, she is still going to need support from EVERY level of government (local and state).
I grew up thinking one bullet in the body was enough to get the job done, but after watching several police chases and shootouts with officers and criminals on RUclips I quickly realized humans can still be a threat and able to run even after being shot once. I agree with you, higher the capacity in a magazine the better.

However, if you're an average joe who doesn't have that time and money then you need a large capacity gun. I understand why they've banned them. States are trying to avoid another sandy hook or another uvalde
Every level of Law Enforcement Agencies are exempt from this restriction on magazine capacity. That alone are a tell tale sign that lowering the amount of magazine capacity don't work at all. If it does then the govt would include themselves but they wont because it doesnt work that way in real life or death situation.🇺🇸🇺🇸 Thanks Colion
Also...look at how many of these "gun grabbing" politicians have a heavily-armed security detail, and THEMSELVES "pack". It's the nature of the libtard to not practice what (s)he preaches.
But they are needed. As Colion explains, these are "normal" magazines, not high capacity. A high capacity magazine for an AR15 would be 100 rounds. And those are likely to malfunction. A Glock 17 9mm handgun has a magazine with 17 rounds. That is normal, it is not high capacity.
Our rights are not needs. It's called the Bill of Rights not the Bill of Needs. Shall not be infringed applies. We have the inalienable right to protect ourselves. No one will tell us what we need to have. Bottomline.
If people were limited to 5 rounds, they’d still say thats too much. It’s never ending with these people and they wont be there to save you but will use your death to push for more “gun control”
@@bludeuce3855 You're right, they can't outright "ban guns." That's why they're doing everything they can to make it difficult to afford one, be approved to purchase one, and even find ammunition for the gun that you own. Take it from an NJ resident.

Sometimes Common sense, Makes sense. Good points made, as a former law enforcement officer, we carried three .40 caliber magazines with 15 rounds per. Why because, one, you may need all of them. Two, in case of malfunction, sometimes a magazine won’t feed, drop it and reload another. Three, the bad guys tend to always be more heavily armed. Colin makes perfect sense.

There was a story last month how the ATF seized a navy officers firearms illegally. Dude tried to get it back, and told a story that his sister, who was residing in Washington, law abiding citizen, was in a fire fight with 3 armed robbers. She only had a 10 round capacity firearm, which the state only permits to. She lost that fight and her life.
I have seen that one before and it is disgusting and disturbing to see how a person who has put their life into jeopardy for our freedoms has been mistreated by our law enforcement officers. IT WAS INFURIATING!!
That's what I hate about people in the state government...THEY don't know shite about self defense situations...here in NM. They are trying to pass a bill, to limit magazines capacity to < 10. Those new LAWS, only apply to law bidding people, not criminals. If criminals what to kill people, they kill innocent people, they don't care about laws, they do it anyway...just like a spoiled child. Can't spank them, so they get away with " murder" ...
I lived in Chicago 6 years prior to leaving last year. 4 years ago - 2 guys tried mugging me at night while leaving a Jewel. I had my carry permit and drew my Shield. I had 8 rounds for 2 guys.. luckily they just ran away once they realized I was armed - but after shooting competitively, I can say it’s not enough. I’ve seen guys dump 5 or 6 rounds into the dirt on targets right in front of them
I've had multiple discussions today online with people from other countries who literally think it should be an even match in a self defense situation. One guy said, "We just improvise, like use a hammer". 🤦♂️
After training in law enforcement, I carry 2 extra mags. I've been through drills where it's really easy to empty a mag or simply forget how many rounds I have, or end up with a second threat.
All people need to do is watch the video from the taqueria in Houston. That guy emptied 8 rounds and the criminal wasn't even shooting back.i think the problem is most people are armchair quarterbacks that have never had to react to a tense situation. I have never had to discharge my firearm in defense but have been right to the edge. I have reflected on those occasions and believe I could have possibly emptied my Springfield xd mag fairly quickly.
My daily carry is ~85 rounds. I don't have enough places to put 9 magazines. At least places that would be useful. LOL I calculate how far I am from a stash, divide that by how fast I can move, then a good rate of suppression fire = #rounds needed. I remember a 12 year old didn't hit the home invader till his 11th shot.
Your videos are always amazing. Thank you for continually reminding us and inspiring us about the importance of our Constitutional Rights as Americans!! Keep it going Colion!!
Everything your speaking is truth, and its irritating that so many people cant understand these simple facts. Thanks for your insight! Ive learned so much from you and your chanel!!
So sadly true. If asked why we want high-powered firearms and magazines that hold more rounds, I suggest one should consider what Gen. George Washington's reply might have been.

My brother is a cop and thankfully, the few times he's had to use his gun, he's used the entire 18 + 1. I now always carry a 2nd magazine so I have 30 + 1.
Exactly! Criminals don't follow laws or worry about background checks or go through the process of obtaining a CWP, which is kind of a pain in the ass. At least where I live. No government should tell us we can't, as law abiding gun owners have a certain number of rounds. They're picking away slowly, inch by inch at our 2A.
We have mag.s with more capacity because the police wanted more capacity to fight the badys. It follows if we have to fight badys we need more bullets also.
Lets see, 360M people in the country...... Myself I use 2 rounds for every man women and child in a 25 mile radius, then 10 rounds for every government employee as well. In each stash location. That will give me the time to implement my offensive defense plans.
If you ever see a street cop that carries more than 2 spare mags... that man has been in a firefight and lived. And he's also learned that those two spare mags, just were not enough.
Are you planning on patrolling the streets lookin to take out some thugs? Hopefully, the most you need to be prepared for is a lone thug, or two - unless you got some mass shooter idiot shooting at you while you're out with your family at Walmart, or the bank... Still, I would be more worried about being stealthy and selective - try to make my shots count. And practice, under those conditions - moving targets and you're moving - possibly trying to secure your family somewhere at the same time... That's what I worry about..... The Fire Alarm is your friend!!!
@@nacholibrerihow can you practice under the conditions of someone running at you with a knife or shooting back at you… unless you are in those situations. If you have to be selective and “make your shots count” then your life was likely not in danger. Things happen in tenths of seconds when you are in a firefight.
One thing to remember is the 1986 FBI Miami shootout 2 men kept getting hit and did not go down. The FBI had revolvers it took multiple rounds to finally put them down and those guys where not on drugs. So multiple rounds do make a difference.

There's a documented phenomenon in combat with soldiers new to high stress combat situations where they are unwittingly known to shoot higher than the threat being aimed at, even though it's a life and death situation ... as a combat medic who deployed 4 times, I saw it on several occasions and it happened to me as well....
Do you know the reason why? I'd love to know. This sounds very interesting. What causes new-to-combat soldiers to shoot higher than the target, accidently?

I personally know a guy that was shot in a armed robbery. He was shot 6 times in the chest, got back up, walked away, and wasn't taken to the hospital for another 10 minutes and made a full recovery like it never happened. In that robbery it was two separate robbers. So if a single person can take half a dozens and still be able to walk around imagine how many you might need for the two of them.
Man, you always put things in a way the masses can understand. Thank you you for showing the uninformed Americans what the motives of the Gun Control Lobby really are. You are appreciated!
Living in NJ a state that limits Mags to 10 plus 1, big issue is the people who modify these magazines render them useless bc they do not reduce the size of the spring, they put a block in that limits a 17 round to 10 which cripples the magazine and makes them harder to load and also causes more jams. I do not need a barrel with 100 rounds, a 15-20 round mag that comes from the factory is good, I will carry 1-2 more.
I think the biggest point you made here is the fact that this rule needs to be applied as a law pertaining to potential criminals in terms of sentencing, and NOT to law-abiding citizens who are simply trying to defend themselves and their families against said criminals. These people pushing for reduced capacity mags have it backwards.
Im all on board with what you're saying... If I was living in the US (or anywhere else where the option was available) I would definately equip myself accordingly.
An elected official that is afraid to walk among the people should not be an elected official.
Why would someone that is in the house of representatives need a bodyguard?

However, if you're an average joe who doesn't have that time and money then you need a large capacity gun. I understand why they've banned them. @@hoflungdung11110 rounds may be enough for you if there is only 1 person. What if there are 5 or 6 that come at you? 10 rounds is not nearly enough.
As a long time police officer I have no issues with others carrying as much ammo as they want
Even if these magazines aren't needed everyone should have the right to get because of the 2nd amendment.
We already have the Right, and nowhere in the 2nd Amendment does it stipulate 'need'. This is just yet another infringement...
Their ultimate goal is total disarmament. Until then their warped philosophy is "less is better."
Our rights are not needs. It's called the Bill of Rights not the Bill of Needs. Shall not be infringed applies. We have the inalienable right to protect ourselves. No one will tell us what we need to have. Bottomline.
I need a fat magazine just like governor Newsom
If people were limited to 5 rounds, they’d still say thats too much. It’s never ending with these people and they wont be there to save you but will use your death to push for more “gun control”

I got my hair cut today and I got into a conversation with my stylist about crime and guns. She is not a gun owner and uses mace and personal alarms for protection , and supports people having firearms but supported banning "semi automatics". 100% accurate… and you are more likely to need to respond instantly in a time of need (EDC)… rather than police who have time & “rights” to gather & prep their tools from their armory/car and travel to the incident location to respond. Most attackers would avoid an incident in front of police.

After training in law enforcement, I carry 2 extra mags. I've been through drills where it's really easy to empty a mag or simply forget how many rounds I have, or end up with a second threat.
Another thing, the magazine is the most likely part to fail. So having extras is the best way to get a gun back working
I tell everyone at least carry 1 reload
more than 10 rounds too im sure?
My daily carry is ~85 rounds. I don't have enough places to put 9 magazines. At least places that would be useful. LOL

@@FlayvorOfEvil but they are directing their propaganda to the "low information voter" who keeps being spoonfed dung like a mushroom in the dark... it's not really about what they believe but what message they can spin to their target audience.
COLLIN you're doing a great job and changing minds and hearts through truth .. keep it up brother✊✊
Another great 2a Vid!! Bravo Sir!! I couldn't agree more! Keep up the great content
Sir you are truly a patriot i think this country is in trouble but with folks like you we might have a chance keep fighting good fight
Fun fact- The Kalthoff muskets made in the 1600s had a capacity of up to 60 rounds.
There were a slew of "advanced" firearms during the time: Dupe & Company's 14-Barrel Flintlock, Chambers Flintlock, Puckle gun, Belton Flintlock, Ferguson Rifle, Kalthoff Repeater, Nock gun, Chinese rocket arrows, Hwacha, Hand cannons, Chinese lever crossbow, Duckfoot pistol, German wheel-lock rifles, Rampart guns, Volley guns, Death battery, German axe pistols. They had rifles that carried a handful of rounds also like the Girandoni Rifle that held 22-25 shots.
For those politicians, put them on the spot with the offer to set examples first by requiring their protection carry only low capacity mags.
Make them have only 1 bodyguard with a low capacity mag. Normal civs aren’t walking around with a team of bodyguards.
If they don’t believe in the second amendment and their bodyguard should not be able to carry guns.
Awesome content! Keep it coming and let us all fight together to defend our constitutional rights!
It's cold here in Ohio so I'm able to carry my S&W M&P full size, 17+1 with 2 extra 17 round mags. I still hope it's enough should I ever need to defend me and mine or you and yours. Thank you for the best 2A content on the net.
I would think that's enough lol..but these days they travel in packs 4-5 guys smh 🤦♂️
Pretty soon it’s going to be “nobody needs more than a bow and arrow…”
Then it'll be about how many arrows we can carry.
@@alexmal9984 no BS. Do you know what medieval kings and lawmakers started to do back then eventually?? Limit the poundage / damage level of the bow. The Army could have War bows of 100 lb plus, but the citizens had to have 50 lb draw weight or less.
That's what I find so interesting about the Second Amendment conversation. It should be common sense people in power have never changed how they do things. Limit or take the citizens weapons, and make them pay taxes
considering that we already have "blade length" for carry
@@alexmal9984 And what tips we can/can't use.
@@fluffytagann1731 exactly.
Colion, thank you for being a voice defending our constitutionally guaranteed rights
Amen.
Often these conversations center around a one on one confrontation but the reality is you may very likely have to defend yourself against many attackers.
Preach it brother! Were just about fncked up in Canada, they did it in part with stock mag- capacity.. Awesome wideo!
I love the simple language and senerios you use. It is that simple. Thank you.
It would be a different argument if their definition of “high capacity” was like 100-round drums or something, but 15-17 round magazines aren’t high capacity at all
As an owner of a belt fed AR, I disagree
Keep speaking your facts bro
