- I recently had the pleasure of collaborating once again with @NastyNathanial69for this audit taking place at this Jack In The Box drive thru location, We encountered a few interesting interactions from customers in line along with an individual from the restaurant coming out to speak to us. The main interactions that stuck out was a grump old guy who sounded a bit like Foghorn Leghorn yelling at us that we didn't get his permission to film him in the drive thru lane, even going as far as threatening to break our cameras. Another encounter was from a self proclaimed "Cholo" under the assumption we were tweakers because we were documenting the drive thru activity.
I fell safe in concluding that Nasty Nathanial & myself both give this Jack In The Box staff a pass for ultimately respecting our rights to record in public. I did give Foghorn Leghorn a fail for the threat of breaking our equipment.

I think a prius is a good and reliable economical car. It's a Toyota and built to last. Of course more beautiful status cars exist but only a person with an inferiority complex tries to extend their weak personality with a car. Analog to: A man with a tiny penis needs a big revolver. A car means nothing. It's just a tool. The prius is a proper and reliable tool to move from a to b. More than that is waste of money and does not make sense.
Personally I own 3 vehicles, a vw t5 multivan and a honda motorcycle cb 1300 SA and a 50cc vespa moped. None of the vehicles mirror my personality, status or wealth.
Everybody that thinks different is a silly sausage.
careful about denigrating prius- i got two of them, and we are sneakly smart for having the car. It runs well, 50mpg.... jealous yet?

This kind of behavior would be understandable if cameras were few and far between, but they are everywhere. People are on camera all day long. You can’t even ring a doorbell without being on video, yet they see someone with a camera in their hand, and they go all stupid.
It's because they see a person behind the camera they can shout at or attack.

In the 90s people generally tried to get in your shot, it was rarely a "fefes" alert.

Foghorn Leghorn was a riot. An old man in a Prius he has for sure made some bad choices in life and is too old to fix those mistakes. Now he is mad at the world for his wasted life.

People don't understand how Implied Consent works. The moment the window was rolled down, especially with a conversation directed at an individual taking pictures and video, consent was given regardless of verbal consent.

No consent is needed once you walk out of your front door. Anything I can see in public from a public space is fair game.

Been eating at JIB for 51 years and it’s hands down my favorite out of em all. Sure, a McDonald French fry is tough to beat, but overall menu and the fact that you can always buy breakfast is the best.

We don't have Jack in the box in our state, but I would love to try it too when I travel around.
I’ve seen way too many videos of our government not understanding their role nor their authority (mostly cops in these videos). I think our fore fathers would be astounded by what has become of some of our government and by the lack of knowledge of rights by many citizens. To be fair, I’ve seen good interactions too. But the bad just blows my mind.

I remember long ago, people used to wonder in glee if they were on Candid Camera...
The irony of it all is that not only do we NOT need "permission" to video or photograph anyone in public, but that those who don't make a fuss about it are not only generally forgotten and not but momentarily videoed or photographed, but those that DO get more video and photographs taken of them. LOL I have done a LOT of street photography and it amazes me the lack of knowledge about all of this that is out there and how some people just make things harder on themselves than need be. If you don't want to be videoed or photographed, just keep moving along. Don't be INTERESTING. ;)
