The pinky squeeze has been one of the most useful cues for me on all forms of pressing, and I learned it from you in a video several years ago - Thanks Jen!
Thanks for the great tutorial, Jen. My daughter and I used to work the flat bench exclusively, but now prefer to start with the incline and finish with the flat bench. We add in decline bench sometimes too.
I personally found at 45 degree incline it hits a good balance of shoulders and upper chest. In this vid it looks like 30 degrees vs 15. regardless you're kicking ass and I've been using this variation alot and slowly enjoying it
May I ask…what is your opinion of reverse grip bench press? My bench is diy, but I dont have an incline. My wife and I do a SStrength or Greysteel novice A and B. Seems like reverse grip helps my shoulders be happy and give plenty of upper peck work.
Inclines are great for the pump and hypertrophy . It is harder than flat and nbs of pounds are less . Need to drop ego at the door and hit them hard . Mixing them with flat bench press is great for hypertrophy.

@@sunbeamcostrength I’ve been doing it for years!😁
Nice workout. What you've shown in the video is a little over 30 degrees angle, not 15. Yes, I used a protractor.
@@m373x thank you for your help!😁 I definitely mixed that up
I love seeing how excited you get about lifting.. makes me smile because I'm the same way.
Thanks for the tips!

Maybe its the angle of the camera but it looks closer to 45 degrees than 15
No way that's 15, think she mispoke. Has to be 30 or 45 degrees

@@sambsialia I don’t do them because I feel the chance of injury is high. But I know some people like to incorporate them
I agree incline is great but I use dumbbells & find that works better than barbell since you have a greater range of motion.
@@tzzlite that is nicer on the shoulders for sure
Nice control and great form...you are way stronger than a lot of guys I know😋

@@kevinnaash2950 I do a lot less on incline than flat. It will bring your ego down a notch !
Do you prefer the barbell over dumbbells for this?
@@michaelxz85 I think both are great. If my shoulders are feeling bad I will do dumbbells
I was so frustrated when I didn't saw a incline bench tutorial I thought power lifters don't do incline luckily you do 😅
