One of the oldest manatees in Florida dies

She captured the hearts of so many people as one of the oldest manatees on record. But sadly, Zoo Tampa is mourning the loss of their beloved sea cow, Juliet.

Moving her probably hastened her death. I wonder why they couldn't just improve her situation, without the stress of moving her. Plus, totally changing her caretakers...they act as if the animals don't know their environment at all.
