Florida has bears, gators, pythons and panthers, but god forbid you cross paths with a 15 lb monkey. 😂
Florida Macaques are known to have the Herpes B virus, which is fatal about 50% of the time to humans, so yeah god forbid.
I guess you have never seen a monkey attack video....
Don't forget Crocodiles
More scared of Monkey's. They are basically as nasty as people.
And sharks
I cant be the only person who lets their monkeys out to play during the day.
Now, just hold on a minute there.
😂😂😂
Found the owner 😂
Only on the weekends.
You’re a fool for this comment 😂😂 🏆!!
She looks like the blonde deputy from Reno 911
😂😂😂
Almost as talented definitely a porker.
Yes
The Monkees are smart they dont trust humans y'all should be more afraid of Florida man it was last seen mating with Arizona man talk about a hybrid about a hybrid night mare
*Deputy Clementine
They came from Wekiva and Silver Springs where they were left in the 30's. The lady who said this is correct. They migrate and populate. Nothing unusual.
The Rhesus Macaque, can carry Herpes B, which is fatal to humans. The tourists love them so the tourist industry won't let them get rid of them. So what if a kid or two dies, got to line those pockets.
The lady that said they came from tarzan is incorrect they were put here in 1938 by Colonel Tooey for his river boat tour
@@tonyclose7892 actually the production crew for the Tarzan movie did bring them in and leave them there. It’s a fact. Maybe some other instances it was done also.
@@pdg61met no they didn't lol the tarzan movie didn't even have monkeys lol try and visit the silver river museum and silver springs and it states where they came from even go to the FWC website and they will say the same do some research
@@pdg61met no its not a fact it's false
Wild monkeys have been in florida for about thirty to forty years.
Yep. This isn’t news.
that is so cool i remember seeing a lot in the trees out in costa rica. didn’t know some lived in the states!
@@amethyste684 Their not native and carry diseases
@@amethyste684not really cool if they not in their natural habitat….could become a problem
Maybe this a sign there more and are thriving and growing
They better watch out for alligators.
Monkeys have been living around crocs for eons.
Jumanji
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I came looking for this comment and I found it in seconds😂
😂😂😂😂😂
Outbreak
It's been a while since we've had a monkey sighting outside of Silver Springs.
These animals are very territorial and dangerous. Some have two inch incisors and they can pull your fingers off because they’re much stronger than they look. They’ve been known to kidnap and eat smaller monkeys.
They aint bullet proof
Don’t they also carry herpes?
Yep as well as
Viral hemorrhagic fevers, such as Ebola virus disease
B virus (herpes B, monkey B virus, herpesvirus simiae, and herpesvirus B)
Mpox
Gastrointestinal diseases (salmonellosis, shigellosis, campylobacteriosis)
Yellow Fever
Simian immunodeficiency virus
Tuberculosis
Lmao shut up. They aren’t more dangerous than pythons, bobcats, alligators, and the rare Floridian puma. You people are reaching to far and will look for any excuse to cause unnecessary violence
@@JasonDudeson Yeah but kids can’t carry around guns
I thought Florida had 3 different species of monkeys, macaques, vervet and squirrel monkeys, that’s been known for at least 10 years now 🤷🏼♀️
I just found out today
just did a internet dive thanks to you. apparently there’s a good population in Florida and California also
This is the first time I'm hearing about this! 😂
4 types
pretty sure id seen some in wakulla springs like... 20 years ago. but i've smoked a lot of pot since then.
Florida man someday gonna let free his pet dinosaur to became the next invasive specie
We already did that with the iguanas
Lived here all my life, never knew. This is bananas.
Bananas 😂
I didn’t know there were wild monkeys in Florida. In California we have wild Zebras up near Hearst Castle
Whoa didn't know that
wild thanks man
@@YelloLibra83 yeah it’s pretty cool they’re next to the ocean too so you can see giant elephant seals on one side of the road on the beach then on the other a herd of zebra grazing on the grass
Stay away. They're not cute when they become vicious and aggressive.
On edge? Really?
😂😂
They kidnap and eat toddlers.
They could scalp a person easily
Florida man is always on edge because he's on meth.
@@markharris1910take off half a finger or an ear too
Please do some research these monkeys didn't come from tarzan they were put here by Colonel Tooey for his river boat tour in 1938
I thought there were several monkey populations in Florida now. There was some up in the Ocala National Forest and they used to live on a golf course near Rainbow Springs and steal peoples golf balls.
@@user-bg7tm7uk1tand every other city!😂
@@user-bg7tm7uk1t 😆I see what you did there..
@@user-bg7tm7uk1tbe fr or get slapped 🐷
This is nothing new in South Florida. They're migrants.
@@AGirlHasNoName1.168hes not lying 😂
Someone has been playing Jumanji again.
They have to have migrated from silver springs area.
Always around convenience stores at night too
Lol! 😂😂😂
Segregation might be to blame
Born in the middle of the Ocala national forest and raised in Lake County. Seeing monkeys wild as a kid was definitely NOT unusual. They were prevalent around multiple different springs we used to swim at but could be seen from the side of the highways also
Has nobody been to silver springs?
Yeah. Silver spring MD.
Invasive monkeys in Florida? I'm shocked, I tell you, simply shocked!
Finally america got the monkey/primate DLC
HE JUST LOOKING FOR THE DEMOCRAT VOTING BOOTH

Underrated comment
I could post about a thousand memes on this headline...
This is A1 reporting right here, ANIMALS IN THE WILD?!?! OH MY WORD😂😂😂😂
Thanks for your video info
GOD BLESS everyone
Barakallah fiikum
Had one come swinging threw the trees just off the Whitlachooche River. That was in my back yard in Citrus County.
Everyone going to sit on there ass and laugh intel it ends up like the snake problem in the everglade heading north.
The only time I’ve seen a recessed ma’cack is when it was cold outside …
They have a HUGE colony in S FL
Hallandale has had wild monkeys for decades.
I'm pretty sure, given the basic makeup of that state, those are just more Florida citizens.
Did you just say possible sightings when there is one right in front of you idk i think i must be going crazy
That's Florida for you its a zoo.
I wouldn't be surprise if they were tiger sightings or even chimpanzees.
Same with Texas
I thought they canceled spring break! I guess they are back
As in the days of Noah. Ive seen monkeys , zebras , bloody white horse , ...
Elephant in Montana
Snake in the trousers
Still not nearly as habitat destroying as the feral cat. 🐈
*”Please remember to spade and neuter your pets.” -Bob Barker
Things are starting to get out of control ❤
This is so sad!
That explains the recent break-ins in our cars
There's some in Sanford....
i saw them at silver springs over 50 years ago. so i guess they are spreading out.
They're in Detroit too!
People here in south Florida already know there's wild monkeys
They have been around since hurricane Andrew when the zoo was hit hard. Some were captured but not all.
Well that's how some started migration in Florida; I almost forgot about the hurricane that alot of exotic animals escaped from a zoo. But also the people who bring monkeys to be sold to labs and brought too many as well, might be a possibility too.
I wonder how long before they come down to South Carolina?
Saw this coming when Bainbridge GA, population 15,000 humans- were set to receive 30,000 monkeys for testing. Per Fox News
These rhesus monkeys have been here since 1938
And they call us low IQ.
Lived in lake county in paisley and they used to steal food right off the grill theyre alzo african crocodiles and black panthers at the end of chain o lakes
Aren't there a bunch of them in the Miami area?
I just be thinking GTA6
yep they been seen near me :P
I lived in Sarasota and in the woods behind my house I heard monkeys
There’s a ton in Miami
They are rescuing them from their natural habitats?
Oh i can tell tree hugger gonna try to hug it and regret when it attacks
That's like this wild parakeets in Brooklyn New York
like killer bees, what could possibly go wrong ?
What other kind of “monkey” would it be? Chances are it’s gonna be wild😂😂
It's a jungle out there ......... Monkeys have fangs . Don't ask me how I know .
Florida had wild escaped lab monkeys in the 1980s
Holy hell monster quest was right!
I never knew they were in Florida interesting
Wow Florida had monkey's fior years i would be more worried about gators lol
They've had gators longer😊
Do not feed them.
U all seen that movie outbreak
their "forever home" is not in the United States
Sure it is they have been here for almost 90 years
Macaque monkeys are not indigenous to the US, and are considered vermin almost everywhere else in the world where they are indigenous. Even in India where they worship monkeys, some areas still consider them pests.
They're running loose all over Memphis Tn. too.
What? My friend lives in Tennessee. I hope she's doing well and You also; Even though I don't know you; I heard that last hurricane a few weeks ago was very frightening.
There are wild monkeys in every major U.S. urban center…
Yup from silver springs since the 1920s
Yes they move around, look at branches
I think we are seeing them more due to all of the construction. I feel like if we’re gonna welcome so many new people I wish we wouldn’t sprawl out into the forest so much. There’s no reason we shouldn’t be able to build more densely in areas that are not virgin land
I can just see them taking over lol
Apparently there 4 species of monkeys actively breeding in florida
dont they got coyotes too lmao
I was at my aunt and uncled souse in Ocala like 20 years ago. My uncle kent took me on a river between ocala and crystal river where we saw aligators and heard monkeys in the woods. Should not be news for florida. I'm from Minnesota. Just stombled accross this video
Florida needs to chill
You see that Minny haha street a lot in the news
Her shirt said nobody cares work harder, can’t argue with that.
I wonder if they are from Tulane's Primate Center they escaped in the 90's
I haven't seen that type of blonde hair since 2006 lol she's living in the past
Florida is becoming a free zoo.
They have been here
There migrate ,when storms , so be aware, be be very very visual, beware, safe then sorry , check your trees you see any broken branches that them , people please be aware
They from the bonnet house?
What else r we going tk find in wild jungles of my homeland Florida
Those damn Boa constrictors. Said to be huge enough to squeeze life from you and eat you as well.
That's what I hear I seen some video of them when they ate something bigger than they are . they'll have a damn deer or gator blown out the side of the snake
“It’s a in a neighborhood” yea right fucking next to a god damn swamp
Possible or impossible?
Stop catching animals in the wild in different continents and brining them to continental U.S
They are ALL over Dade county
Why are people afraid of monkeys?
People act so fearful online and in reality afraid of Monkeys? Monkeys won't usually bother humans.
Please do a quick research viewing one or two reports of monkeys in India and see what you think.
They get aggressive really quick once they lose their fear of humans
@@brotherowlplease do actual proper research and on why that happens in India and other Asian countries where they’ve fed wild monkeys for years leading up to their behavior. Literally they aren’t dangerous as long as humans do feed them
@@paddyoak1then don’t feed them like most yt Americans tend to do with any wild animal for fun
Monkeys in Florida is insane
Hopefully Rockstar sees this 🙏
These animals won't hurt anything. Omg
Florida does not have monkeys, those are visitors.
