Kiriloff is why you don't overreact to a prospect looking good in the minors the mlb is levels above what you see in AAA . For a hitter to fall off a cliff once he gets healthy is a red flag not sure how he fixes this either he's not hurt so can't blame that he's in his head at this point gotta hope it's a off year like Miranda had last year & he bounces back

Hot take. Trade for Randy Arozarena. Give them Wallner and a low level pitching prospect. Dude has swag, post season experience, can play really good left field defense. And - he isn’t too expensive. Not having the best year, but can definitely contribute to this team.

That's too much of a trade, randy is only hitting.142 batting average. At most one third tier prospect and gap filler prospects as he is arbitration eligible this off-season. Honestly, stop reading Twins daily bullshit.

Kiriloff is so depressing. He looked like he would be a superstar in AAA. Just another failed prospect. I do hope he can figure it out, but it's looking grim.

He has too many gaps in his swing, he should be used as trade bait.

Baldelli and the Popster are absolutely the two worst baseball coaches to help Kiriloff. Do the kid a favor and trade him to an organization that can regenerate his career.

We have one of the worst coaching staff’s in MLB. It’s their job to make young players better, and you look at guys like Kirilloff and Julien and it’s pathetic. We are among the most injured teams year after year, and promising players become busts and the coaching staff never changes.

Sure, just ignore royce lewis, simeon woods richardson, austin martin, duran, jax, ryan, ober, miranda, larnach, and jeffers. Players who are developing usually get into slumps. Torii hunter got sent down , david ortiz struggled, and there are plenty of other examples of great players needing time to readjust. They changed trainers, and its been a lot of the same guys being injured. Sometimes guys are just injury prone, other times unlucky. You cant hate rocco for pulling starters and resting players and then also be mad at him when players get hurt.

@@davidstock43Rocco relies too much on analytics, I understand some of it is coming from upper management but he needs to stand his ground in some of these game time situations.

@@benjames4502my brother in christ no he does not. Literally every single manager in the game uses analytics non stop good lord

@@crustybs46so if everyone is jumping off a bridge, so would you. In competition, character and want to play plays a big factor. Why Lopez and Correa will never take the Twins to the big dance, analytics can't measure that. Why Kirby Puckett and Bert blyleven are hall of famers, there metrics wouldn't measure in today's "so called game". If you're gonna use the rays as an example, they have a drafting and scouting department which we lack that allows them to use pure analytics.

@@benjames4502 if jumping off a bridge meant being able to be competitive and not jumping off the bridge meant being stuck in 1998 then that analogy would work lol. Every one of the good teams in the league right now is managing off analytics. It's why they pay analytic departments millions of dollars.
