We Are At low percents Bowser doesn’t flinch from weak attacks such as most rapid jabs
@@JonLucy_downunder he also stops flinching in PK fire after a second. I've closed stocks by waiting to side b out of PK fire until Ness is at kill percent

I love Bowser, he's my heavy main, but dear God, playing against him online as Inkling renders my jab useless which is my main method of Inking people. A bit of ink and 6% trades with Bowser F-Smash and I lose the trade.

How did know one know this, I always knew what to do at rapid jab. There’s also frames for just jumping out of jab lock.

I like how easy to understand you make things. Some players like myself are relatively knew to smash and don't know all the crazy terminology for things quite yet And a lot of youtubers will explain techniques by only using all the crazy terms and i've no idea what they're talking about

@divide two Just dont hold your jab. Some have slower jabs so good luck trying to get safely away from being punished. Honestly I find myself doing rapid jabs more accidentally than intentionally. I hate rapid jabs in this game so much.

@@Rye-Uh oh yeah, of course! Just talking about those with the option to gentleman jab.
PSA: Meta Knight’s Rapid Jab is still hard to punish with this tech unless he starts it right on top of you. His sword range beats out most character’s rolls if he starts his jab anywhere past mid range. I think Samus might still be able to forward roll through it, but I haven’t tested it yet.

Wait this was in smash 4, wait shields were so strong nobody figured out this tech
there were only 2 moves that could cause it in smash 4: yoshi dair and lucario's aura sphere charge. the mechanic was patched into the game shortly after the shieldstun patch in order to nerf aura sphere charge shield breaks
Shieldstun is much higher in Ultimate than in Smash 4 which means a lot of multihits including all rapid jabs can actually trap you in shield

To this day many players online don't know this, so you can get out of rapid jabs easy and you can stick them in rapid jabs easy

I'm gonna be honest you're doing much better than the Beefy Smash Doods, I used to always go to them for smash techs but since ultimate came out it feels like they aren't doing anything, and when they release a video on a tech it's already been done
This almost sounds like a Guard Bonus mechanic rather than stun canceling. In the slow motion clip, it seemed like the invuln started while you were still shielding. I wonder if this applies to other actions out of shield, like jump or spotdodge, or even just a simple shield drop. Might warrant some further exploration.

nah that's just how the shield animation works. It seems the first OOS option starts while the shield is still up

I've always known about this but I've never really thought about it too much. I can't really do well against characters that have lagless aerials that get to press buttons for free so this might help.

Little Macs up-b actually has intangibility on frame 1 so can he shield-stun cancel into up-b?
Up-B is a somewhat universally good option for most characters out of shield.

Hey, people have made videos on z-drop combos with mega man and link, but NOONE and I mean NOONE has delved into villager wood block combos (the wood piece spawned by chopping down tree). There aren’t many high tech combos with villagers, but I think woodblock could be a potential goldmine of skilled play, in an otherwise boring to watch character. Unfortunately, I don’t have time to lab it, so I’m trusting you to make the discoveries. :)
ily. also when you play IC buffer nana to run while you walk its good trust. edit use the c stick to desync whenever you want by doing a tilt while nana dash attacks or if youre really good do a jab for quick follow ups on the dash attack.

Would parrying an aerial be a better option? I guess it would depend on the aerial because some create space and if hit from above or behind a punish might take too long to come out
