Such a humble lady. Wish her even more blessings.
We met Chaya 2 weeks ago and she and her husband were wonderful...and the cake was outstanding! Humble, kind and willing to help new bakers like us in any way she could.
I love that cake from Whole Foods! Thank you for sharing.
I bought my chantilly cake from Publix and they just started doing the strawberry and chocolate ganache cake for Mother’s Day. So it’s selling all over Florida too, and probably across many other states as well. Once something gets popular, it travels fast.
This is my most favorite cake ever. I wish you could get it all over the country. I have made this cake twice but it falls apart on me. No one seems to care. We just scoop it up and eat it like that, it's still delicious!
Falls apart how? Like layers collapse or just the cream splitting? As for finding them locally, you need to talk to a speciality bakery. Most chain store groceries wont make it because they use bulk icings and mascarpone cream both expensive and has a short shelf life, so has to be made fresh.
Had this cake for the first time on Saturday, oh my goodness, best cake I have ever had. Thanks so much for sharing!
She makes that look so easy!
Hands down my favorite cake🤗🍰
If you live near a Publix, the bakery can make one for you to pick up next day. Cost is $26.00....delicious!!
By far my favorite cake 🎂. Love it so much ! My daughter had this as her wedding cake this very weekend!! Everyone that commented to me about the cake said it was the BEST WEDDING CAKE they had ever had !!
Lord how I love being born and raised in Louisiana. I can get this at ANY time lol.
Eating one while watching this is like being present during the birth of Christ
This is one of my favorite cakes from Whole Foods. I like that they sell them by the slice now.
I have always loved this cake. After having one from Rouses today, I decided that i wanted to recreate it! So happy that I found a video of the originator! She's awesome!!
I want to try the one from Rouses next time and I am in Alabama and see how it compares to our Florida Publix chattily. I’m sure Publix put their own spin on it like every place has.
Thank you SO MUCH for creating this scrumptious cake!! It is the most heavenly thing I have EVER tasted!! My whole family loves it! Instead of buying it this year for my daughter's birthday, I am going to try to make it myself - thanks for all the great tips and sharing your recipe to the world!!!!
BEST CAKE ever!! You are a rock star!
Fantastic!!!! Thanks for sharing!
Sorry, we had some tech problems at the start of this video, but stick with it. She gives great tips for assembling, avoiding crumbling and making sure home-baked cakes are moist.
This video is FULL of great tips and instruction!! Thanks for sharing. And, thanks so much for Chaya generously sharing her great cake. Thank you so much!
Hey is there a way to not use cream cheese? And can we get a video on how to make the icing? Pretty please!!
rave reviews for this cake. i'll have to try it.
👍🏻👍🏻
it would of been cool if they show you how to do the frosting.
I'm hate to say it on here, but classic white almond icing cake is the absolute best
Wish the video quality was better
What's the ratio for all the creams .
Much better with angel food cake I must say yes
Wait, but Hispanic bakeries have sold these cakes for sooooo many years lol....
Maggie C This cake style is super popular in Scandinavia. This ones a lot prettier. ruclips.net/video/5eTocHj0N78/видео.html
the white almond cake makes all the difference. plus the mascarpone in the icing really knocks it out the park
@@Appaddict01 I'm sorry but that is not the same cake. I watched the video.
shaytwi Of course it’s not the same exact cake. That’s why I said “cake style” whipped cream with fruit fillings and that video wasn’t the really traditional style. She added a lot of extra things usually it’s just jam and berries.
Not the same ingredients. But maybe same style cake..
How many hours does it need to set before serving?
Matthew Doherty me personally I would let it set overnight. I think these types of cakes taste better that way. But I’m sure 3-4 hours is good though.
kedanpie4409 thank you so very much.
Where can I get the recipe?
Serve cold or room temp?
Pretty much the same thing. It’s the deep south. Just put it in your refrigerator and take it and cut it. It will thaw out pretty quick. 95* where I live so if it was cold, I didn’t know it. 😂
Also, I had it will a chai tea latte. It’s a nice combination.
Thank you for this video. Can you please provide us with the recipe for the berry chantilly cake. I’d love to make this at home!

Where NOLA Eats Perfect! Thank you!
Hi! Looks so light and beautiful and scrumptious!!
Correct me if I’m understanding this wrong... when you say White Almond Cake, I’m guessing it means white cake with almond extract in it ( as shown in the recipe link) NOT cake made with Almond flour?
Thank you!
🍰🍓THANK YOU MAM FOR SHARING YOUR MASTER PIECE🍓🎂
@@WhereNOLAEats link is not working? could you re post it. thank you
How can I get this recipe??
This is the Chantilly cake let’s give it a spin how about we give it a little taste
Video looks like it was filmed on an old Samsung that was swallowed, half digested and than shit out
I just watched another video that said this cake was first created in New Orleans! Go figure. 🤨
It was created in Whole Foods in New Orleans by this lady.
You need a better camera person!
