So happy to have attended this show. Manny man. His enthusiasm for the vibe of Porsche ownership is the kind of thing that resonates and keeps and makes members.
So many cool and special colors! It’s a pity that dealerships only know how to order black, white, gray, and silver these days. Back when my wife and I were shopping for our first Porsche, we happened upon a brand new Maritime Blue Speedster (just like the one featured here) at Isringhausen in Springfield Illinois. Sadly, it was not meant to be for us. Thanks for sharing these special colors!
PCA does such an incredible job with Werks Reunion, both Amelia and Monterey. I got to participate at Amelia this year and it was a great experience. Definitely a bucket list item for any car, let alone Porsche, enthusiast. 👍
Pretty incredible that you mention both the 993 TT and 993 Speedster and neither got a ribbon. Yet they were special enough to be mentioned here by PCA. People come to see the cars and weigh that accordingly vs. the story.
I am buying a Porsche Turbo S. I have figured out the options I want but I can't decide on the color. I am leaning to a blue....I have narrowed the blues down to cobalt blue, yachting blue, ocean blue, but also amethyst, superior red and if paint to sample will take too long then GT Silver or white? Any thoughts and opinion help on color would be greatly appreciated.
Why do they have werks reunion just weeks before Rennsport in exactly the same place? Is there some big difference between these two shows??? Confused porsche fan ….
Huge difference. Rennsport is all about race cars from Porsche’s historic past and present. Werks is about the street cars. Werks happens every year at both Amelia Island and Monterey. Rennsport is now once every five years. You don’t have to choose. Go to both. Record attendance this year at Werks.
Werks Reunion is run by PCA and features members' cars on static display. Rennsport Reunion is put on by Porsche and celebrates their success and heritage in motorsports by displaying, running, and racing the cars that made them famous. Although, PCA enjoys a great relationship with Porsche, PCA is an independent and separate entity that is officially recognized by Porsche.
In addition to the other replies, I will also add that Werks Reunion is one of many Monterey Car Week events - and, I believe, the first Werks Reunions was actually in Monterey only. It was an offshoot from an event call Legends of the Autobahn which originally was an event put on by the Mercedes, BMW, and Audi clubs as well as PCA. Now PCA has Werks and Legends continues for the other clubs...
Observation: That's some crummy camera footage. I'm glad I didn't pay to watch. Porsche Club? So basically a dorky member shot this? He probably owns a cheap older one?

Thanks for the kind words Mike!
Werks was great this year once again! Lots of incredible cars including mine, and great weather, too! My fave by far was that Amethyst Carrera GT!
ONE MILLION MILE 356! What an amazing cavalcade of color!
Thanks for the short tour,Manny and Vu
That was a great video...thanks from New Zealand..
Glad you enjoyed it
Green is good! Love my ‘99 Forest Green Metallic Boxster! Black top/interior, manual transmission and sport classic wheels … perfect!
Nice!
Thanks for the tour as I wasn't able to attend.
You bet!
Love my own Mamba Green Macan!

We highlighted the 993s because of their color. Earning a ribbon has to do with how well it did in the competition.
I understand but the judging leaves a lot to be desired. After the results were perused not sure what your after??

2:56 That's me driving behind the blue GT3.
Congrats... 🤦♂
Thanks for coming out!
993 Turbo Yellow is super SWEET
We thought so too!
1987 Carmine Red. (Cherry Rot) Best color ever. ❤❤❤
"Carmine" and "Cherry" are two totally different colors. It's quite self-explanatory, don't you think so?
@@Porsche1969
From what I’ve learned “Carmine Red”was called “Cherry Rot” in Europe.
No love for that Mint Green 911 car ???? paint code L22R, My 964 C2 is one with Green interior … Thanks 4 the Tour BADASS !!!
Loved it, but sometimes we don't get to all the cars.
Is there any way to find out how many of the lime green 74’ Carreras were made and shipped to the US? 9:42
@PorscheClubofAmerica?
I feel like I'm in a game show
Glad you're having fun with us. That's what it is all about.
have I died & gone to heaven ????😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
LOL, not quite but perhaps close.
Did Vu really just say “check out this crazy 80’s checker pattern” to refer to Pascha? 😢
The whole interior looked liked a call back to MTV in their glory days.
From afar it looked checkered, but yes you’re right it is indeed Pascha!
Which dealers won?
Younshould auction off the 964
The 912 is Portuguese
Does anyone know what Vu's favorite color is?
Watch the video and you’ll find out!
It’s Signal Green, or a similar shade.
There were two 996 gt3rs with crazy low miles as well as a flachbau - no coverage. SMH lol
This video was about colors. The 996 RS’s were definitely cool though.
Amazing cars. Thanks for bringing them out. But yes, this video was focused on colors.
Best watched "muted".

No comparison whatsoever!
911..911..911...911..911..911...
I wonder if Porsche made anything else?
point taken😂
73-74 with those horrible bumpers is a mess - worst cars.
Blame the USA for it, dude!
