This really opened my eyes on how much I don’t know. There is much to be done. I can’t even fathom how you’re able to recognize and playback those chords going by that fast.
    Thanks Tomo!

Wow, I was under the illusion that you learn and get fluent in all this stuff AFTER getting into music school. I'm just a hobby guitarist who started a couple yrs ago and I know very basic theory, thanks to youtube. But surprisingly I felt like I was somewhere in Level 3/4 for some of the items but level 2 on a couple of them. Although my improv skills are absolutely 0, never really focused on it properly so I can't expect magic to happen lol, but that's what I am working on at the moment.
Great videos! Love the practice routines from you as well.

I understand your opinion on the circle of fifths. It's nothing special, it doesn't tell you anything you cant learn from normal music theory, but sometimes when information is layed before you in a certain way, it can help you understand it better. The circle of 5ths really helped me understand how to connect all chords together, and how they can link to one another. Much like the CAGED system; it doesn't tell you any secrets, it just shows you information in a way thats easier to understand than other ways.

agreed the circle of fifths and 4ths helped me to learn my intervals for all scales. It also gives me a logical framework for practicing away from chromatics on my guitar. It also helped me learn to spell my scales and learn the key signature of each scale. very important.

I knew a guy in college who dropped out of music school because it was too stressful and hard. Then he became a chemical engineer. By the way, it looks like youre going to hit 500k pretty soon, Fujita Sensei. I knew youd make the big league one day if you just kept at it with the youtube, grats! ;)

There is no doubt that you are a gifted musician, you have a lot of theoretical knowledge... but you don't really teach, you show what needed to be a musician , I like your videos because they challenge me to seek knowledge.
Showing a piece of paper for a second is and dropping it is a nice trick, but not much help.
    Though … Thank you, ... I'm inspired.

I believe Guthrie Govan said something like: Music theory is like a map. It helps you understand the world and how to get to your destination. But you can do all of that without a map and get to some rly cool destinations. It’s just harder.

⭕️ oh 5ths is new to me as a 🎻 doesn’t have chords.
    First thing I noticed was: it’s a 🕰️. 1 o’clock G 1#. 3 o’clock A 3#.
Also at 1 o’clock before is 4th after is 5th : works all the way around.
Then spin it CCW and it’s the ⭕️ oh 4ths. 🙃

Teach for free for one month. I guarantee that you'll have so much business, you'll never need to worry about giving anything away again cause you'll be teaching everyone at advanced levels. I know one guy that does that. His video's are a little over an hour long. Not monitzed. He gets paid because he gives it away. Just a thought. 😊

this is very elitist, a student wants to go to school to learn, if the requirement to go to school is the things he dont know how cant he learn. this is the very reason why the music industry is failing, because of the very elitist way of learning
