Yes, spontaneous funk. I knew you couldn't resist. Thanks again as always
Thank you!
So thanks for the reply. i watched the video you linked.
I just took a screenshot of the caged system.
I got it now.
I've literally been playing triads this entire time.
Learning on your own can be very rewarding, but it really sucks too.
I remember having one of your other videos, and it mentioned caged, but thinking about at the time, it wasn't connecting.
It is now.
Anyway, thanks again.
Very nice of you. Not enough ppl nice.
You’re very welcome! Good job! Triads are so good!
Thank you Tomo
You're very welcome! Thank you!
Trully delightful teaching. So simple, so open. Thank you man.
Thank you so much!

Tomo, you've helped me become a better guitarist so quickly. Thanks man!
So happy to hear that!
Video got a like for the String choice alone, not to mention the amazing playing.
Thank you so much ~
The triad lesson was really useful. Thakyou
Glad it was helpful! Thank you so much!
Those strings are nice. I got a set of those for X-mas, threw them on that night, they are still good now. The coating is also silky smooth and I love it.
Yes! They are so good! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you sir Tomo
You're very welcome! Thank you!
Thanks Tomo❤!

I’ve started today!
Awesome!
Awesome My Teacher I am getting there Asante.. Meaning Thanks in Swahili
You are very welcome
Excellent lesson sir. Thank you 👍🎸💯
Glad you liked it! Thank you!
I don't know how much sense this makes. I spent 12 months learning chords, finger and sturm patterns. Then I spent the next 12 months getting "clean". While getting "clean" I studied a little theory. Now I am learning to stay clean and go slower and quieter. Calming down and letting the Guitar "speak" with her own voice instead of me "prying" a voice out. I guess I consider Advanced is being able to cleanly play what we learned as beginners. It isn't knowing more chords or techniques. It is actually playing the Instrument well , not memorizing a song.
Triads are taking me maybe longer. I am learning them by calculation rather than pattern. i.e. start with Dmaj, So-Do-Mi, lift finger of 1st string, I have lost a F# (3rd) now find that 3rd on the 4th string, Mi-So-Do. Vertically etc. Breaking the habit of Patterns can be difficult.
I also continue to Master the C scale vertically and horizontally to F15. As always, Thank You Tomoson and we are loving Guitar Wisdom.
Thank you for sharing! To me, to advance, I will go back to my basics with slow pace, much more simple... then challenge my self a little. You're very welcome! My passion will continue at Guitar Wisdom.

Thank you so much!
Thanks for your time to create very long video!!! I already practiced rhythm 20 Jazz standard songs on guitar wisdom. A long journey. I wish you will have more details each song so we can learn and understand it deeply 😊😊😊Each song you have different improvisation. I guess you have improvise etude for each song and ideas.
You're very welcome! Good job! So happy to hear that! Yes, that's next! Meantime please watch more videos on "Theory 2"
Thankyou sir for the lesson
You have been an inspiration
Can you please make a lesson on how to start ear training

You're welcome! More choices on same phrases.
Great lesson. Very useful😎🖕
Have you tried Stringjoy's new coated strings?
Like you, coated strings never sounded or felt right to my ears...
But when Stringjoy decided to try something new, I trusted them (because their strings are all I now use on all my guitars) enough to try them. Now I do use the coated strings on my acoustics 😉👍
Haven't a need for them on my electrics, but may try a set on my Casino...?😁
😎👍❤🖖
Thank you so much! Thanks for sharing!

Thank you!

Ha ha! Thank you!

Thank you!
Thank you for your thoughtful lessons.
In this one I’m curious what the short classical piece is called and who the composer is. Sounds like a violin etude.
Bill Leavitt put out a book of classical pieces arranged for pick style guitar many years but these days you can download classical pieces free because they’re out of copyright.
You're very welcome! Classical etude! I left this book at my Berklee office. Thank you for sharing!
19:11 fire in d sky?
Just a riff
It is now my goal to learn all 20 standard 😅😅😅
Please learn Jazz Standards section on my Guitar Wisdom! 20 lessons!
me learning the chord progression practice:
level 1: Oh this is easy, no problem focus on clean playing
level 2: Oh, this is groovey. A bit tricky but I think I can do this
level 3: 👁👄👁
Good Job!
Excellent routine.
I would add a note of caution though. Sometimes when we are improvising, we can fall into times of trying to play everything that we know and we depart from the feel of the song. If that makes sense. Maybe it is better stated as "remember to feel your solos"? Easier said than done when life is forefront in your mind.
Maybe a discussion on mind set before a session or performance would be interesting?
Thank you! Thanks for sharing!
Still waiting on Tomo’s “How to make fried rice” video
I am really good at that! Thank you!

What is the name of the classical piece starting from the 8th minute? Also it would be great if anyone could tell me the name of the book.

Great!
Advanced guitar is no easy journey, but as I say, the payoff and versatility is more than worth it. Cheers Tomo
A little bit challenge... it's worth journey! Thank you!
@@TomoFujitaMusic Absolutely! You are certainly welcome
No pain no gain. Have the rest of your life to learn!
You are taking us on a wonderful journey into the world of guitar , the advanced is not where I'm at yet ,saying that the road ahead is exciting. Thank you so much for hanging in there with every level of player. Your saving lives Tomo.
You're very welcome! Thank you so much! Guitar is amazing journey!
To all you beginners and intermediate pickers out there....just because this is an advanced lesson doesn't mean you should not try to do it. Push yourself. Try it slowly at first and then increase your speed as your dexterity improves.
Thanks so much for sharing! Great encouragement!
I love your humor and you make learning fun. What you said at the end about music being a conversation by listening was really beautiful and changed my perspective on performing live.... It seems less scary and something I want to experience
So happy to hear that! Thank you so much!
Ok, so im missing something .
I can do all the advanced practice routines. My stretch and dexterity are great.
My fingers stay close to the fretboard. If the guy who's channel this hand is anything to go by i have as good pinky control as him.
I accidentally learned where most notes are, though i don't have instant recall yet.
Timing is pretty easy for me.
Alternate picking for it.
I'm getting there with strumming. I think i have an angle problem. My ears are good.
So why can't I play an entire song?
I had a pic problem that really held me back. It's come a long way.
I'm 6 months recovered from neck surgery. But im good now.
So again, why do i fumble through songs?
Do i need to completely start over?
I have all the puzzle pieces, but i feel like keep dropping them.
Can anyone plz guide to what videos to go to?
I'll be honest i ask questions and never return to see if anyone answered. i always assume no.
Anyway, I'll check back. Thanks in advance for any help.
Thank you so much for sharing! Can you play anything super clean?
Without any finger & string noises? Your left fingers are relaxed enough? Your picking can play very soft? You can look into more details in those simple exercises so that your playing quality will go up. Please check this video them. You will find more things.
I Wish All My Students Knew THESE Before They Came To Berklee
ruclips.net/video/xlRy7WwZg7c/видео.html
I can...i get very tense sometimes. Everything by itself, I'm good. It's putting it together. I'm playing riff raff by acdc. It's like when i go to put it all together, my pic slips or one note is off, then my fingers trip.
Lol, talking it out, maybe it's a concentration thing.
I do get anxious.
Lol, maybe i neex to meditate?
Please relax more! Maybe play any parts with slower tempo and a little softer. Hold a pick softly. @@jessejorgensen3931
