    Glad to finally see a review that actually has some negative points to it. All the other reviews are so glowing, they felt just like advertisements.

      Glad I could help! Yea I noticed the same thing honestly. I can’t wait to see what things they improve on the next version but still they are pretty good

    I put these on over my glasses. They fit well enough. I never had any issues with the knobs or clarity.

    I just used Viture Lite with my steam deck on my flight to south korea and back. Easily 20 hours. I used them for about half of each flight. Once I put headphones on (didnt even turn them on they just kept the sound insulated) the sound was way better in such a loud plane. Otherwise the speakers work really well. The neckband is actually more useful than I thought they would be. They can be loud and have low battery but they still work really well for what they do.

    Your videos are always the best, man! I get such FOMO with these glasses and you provided alot of helpful details. They feel so much more comfortable and user friendly than using my Meta Quest for watching shows and movies. Damnnn this is tough 😅

    • @gg_sheed
      @gg_sheed  6 месяцев назад +1

      You're too kind! Haha thanks, yea honestly I would choose these over the meta quest personally since they are so much more portable. But also there aren't many VR games for me personally that make the meta quest a must buy just yet.
      But they def are on the expensive side...depending on what games you play and stuff I may even consider the cheaper model (XR Lite) it has 120" inch screen and only 60hz refresh rate tho

    Great review, very thoughtful. About some of the negatives you mentioned, I think that a person’s head, eyes, and vision are unique enough that there’s never going to be a perfect fit and perfect image for everyone. Also, wireless connectivity will probably happen eventually, but then a battery and more hardware inside the glasses will become necessary, so the glasses will get bulkier and heavier, more costly and less comfortable. I think that may defeat the approach, which is to be less cumbersome and less costly than VR headsets.

    • @gg_sheed
      @gg_sheed  6 месяцев назад

      Great points. Yea I guess it would be better to just invest in making the neckband more comfortable and convenient than to go fully wireless right now unless there’s a big jump in battery tech and efficiency.
      As for the size yea it is hard to make a one size fits all, but I still think they could benefit from having different size and shaped most pads

    can you anchor the screen in place or are you always stuck with the screen following your line of sight?

  • @Muzektech

    Is the image 'fixed' or does the image move when you move your head?

    • @gg_sheed
      @gg_sheed  6 месяцев назад +2

      Great question! I forgot to mention in this video but it supports both having the display in a fixed position (so you can move your head and look at different parts) and the opposite (the image stays the same in front of you no matter where you turn your head)
      For this to work on the steam deck there’s a Decky plugin called “XR Gaming” to allow switching between these modes. For laptops, and phones there’s a free app called spacewalker which allows this.
      By default without the plugin, the display will always remain in front of your eyes no matter where you move your head.

    Hey man, thanks for the great review. How is the glasses so far and how often you're using them?
    I already ordered mine with steam deck mount with the hub. Hopefully it will reach soon.

    Do you if these or the xreal glasses with the neckband or beam pro can be used to access steam link or connect to windows wirelessly. I want to be able to game but also to do homework without having to directly connect to my computer or steam deck

    Dude, your box says "Viture ONE XR Glasses"....NOT Viture PRO XR! I was wondering why you had the cover lenses. The PRO's have an auto-dim, so you no longer need the covers. The Pro supposedly has much better picture quality and sharp edges on the screen.

  • @Hello-mu1et
    @Hello-mu1et 6 месяцев назад

    Are they really cover all light?
    Seems like if look at your eye sight you will see lights no?

    • @gg_sheed
      @gg_sheed  6 месяцев назад

      With the lens cover all light is blocked out when you are looking at the screen inside. However your peripheral vision still will see light as the shades themselves are not big enough to cover your entire field of view

      @@gg_sheedpersonally I use the lite version and spent $9 on a cover. It worked out well and I bought them as part of a bundle with the neckband on prime day so it was a very good deal.

    Looks very promising, but I think that if in the market for it, I'd wait for a price reduction and/or the next version where all the bugs and cons are ironed out.

    • @gg_sheed

      Word I think honestly it’s very close to being perfected. Like you said tho with some time there may be more competition which would get us to better prices as well.

      For us who use glasses, you can. The knobs on these glasses are a game changer. Also the Lite has a good sale price for Prime Day with a bundle.

      @FernandoMartinez-pv1id I also use glasses but I have astigmatism. The knobs do not adjust for that. I have to have the insert with either brand.

      @@NateBuildingBricks Viture has an insert too. Magnetic. Thought that is more pricey.
