    Make sure to watch the video around the 11 minute mark so you can see how these work with a Mac and how you can see up to 3 virtual screens or one large wide-screen in perfect detail on this device. Great for productivity and other work on your Mac computer.

    spent many hours using the viture pro and the xreal air2 pro on my macbook air m2 on productivity work. viture was superior to the xreal in software features and visual clarity. xreal was superior in head tracking, comfort (weight) and looks. i ended up returning both - the xreal was just not clear enough for work, the vitures were great but had a constant drifting problem which required re-centering the screen constantly ( this is after calibration ). this might have been a bad pair, so not everyone may have this issue. both pairs get hot, and AR software for both can be unstable and require restarts at times

    • @craigneidel
      @craigneidel  Месяц назад +1

      I don't really notice the drifting but see what you could mean by that. I just use them a few times a week or when I travel and I love them. Yes, they are an expensive item to use occasionally but they are so nice for movies and some occasional work I think they are worth it. Thanks for the post.

    Hi Craig, thanks for the review! I'm considering buying a pair primarily for productivity purposes with my MacBook Pro M1 when I'm not at home, and sometimes during a travel. Around minute 11, when you're demonstrating the functionality with 2 and 3 displays, the video appears a bit jittery. Is this something you experience while wearing the glasses, or was it just difficulties during the screen recording? I'm concerned that I might feel sick after using them for several hours. Thank you!

    • @craigneidel
      @craigneidel  Месяц назад +1

      It is much smoother when on the head for sure. It's hard to film. But just get them and try them and if you have issues you can return them. Everybody is different but with me it doesn't bother me. There are a ton of settings like smooth follow and other things you need to play around with to get the right settings dialed in.

    I don't know about AR glasses, but I own VR headsets and what I don't like is the nonstop shakiness of the picture - as you can clearly see on the VITURE captured footage - you will see it the very same way on your face, I assume. Now, I was asking myself, is it even possible to make precise mouse movement and other stuff which usually doesn't bother you, because your "old-school-monitor" does not shake all the time in front of you?? Doesn't it feel like having Parkinson all the time? I mean, that's my big issue with VR headsets at the moment.

    • @craigneidel
      @craigneidel  20 дней назад

      The filming is not how it appears in real life. That shake is from trying to film it but I don't get that when wearing them. I'm not paid by them but they are pretty good when you have the settings right.

    A question to Tim Cook: How did Apple miss this portable glass market and came up with a ridiculous Vision Pro that literally no one can afford?
    If Apple came up first with this product, it would be likely another personal computer revolution like how Apple first launched their iPad.
    Laptops would all become obsolete. No one ever needs a laptop with a display.
    The new form of PC or Mac would be computers built into a foldable battery powered keyboard where you could always carry in a pocket plug a glass on the go.
    The same revolution could also happen to a cellphone that a screen is no longer needed. It would become a small power bank like device that could be clipped to your shirts or belt and connects your glasses via a coiled wire.

    • @craigneidel
      @craigneidel  Месяц назад

      Thanks for the post. I'm not sure how Apple thought people would buy a $3500 (min) device when Microsoft already had a fairly cable one out for $450. I think they will eventually have glasses around $1,200 which would still be way higher but at least would be on some peoples radar if they are very good. Right now though that is a long time away.

    • @RedFloshken
      @RedFloshken Месяц назад

      There is actually a cellphone already, with no display, it’s the Viture neckband, though it does not have a cell radio. But it’s an interesting thought. Put your Mac mini in your backpack, with a power bank, keyboard and trackpad on the table in the coffee shop, and off you go. Maybe a smaller sized MacBook is more compact after all since it combines all these things.
