While never achieving supergroup status, Atlantic Starr was one of the most consistently successful - and underrated - soul bands of the 80s and early 90s, with a collection of memorable songs that still sound good today.

My favorite Atlantic Starr song is All in the name of Love. Those brothers were so dirty towards Barbara and their previous group members. It is crazy how you think these bands/groups have so much love between each other and truly don't behind the scenes.

Silver Shadow has been my favorite since June 1985. Don't get me wrong. Circles has also been my favorite since April 1982.

Atlantic Starr was one of those bands that gravitated me listening to older R&B. I was a child in their heyday and my father used to always play their records. Always, MasterPiece, Circles, Am I Dreaming is another one I love from them. Sharon Bryant was supreme with the harmonies and vocals.
