As an "office" laptop user, MS is actively preventing me from upgrading so it is their own fault then when 2015 laptop with 8 GB RAM and SSD is not enough... I might well end up on Linux or Chrome OS in the distant future if this laptop does not die...
early this year i had not considered this, worried it would be buggy. but i can see that it is buggy no more and has several promising features. i think i will upgrade mine soon! thank you for this
I don't know, I've seen a few game comparisons on RUclips under Windows 10 and Windows 11, and the games running on Win10 get better fps. The difference might be negligible to some, but more fps are more fps.
I only needed one reason. My 16-year-old Windows 10 system (wasn't always a Win10, but that's another story) died violently, which multiple events in the system event log. Things like controller errors, apparent head touches, and my main system fan died. The stores aren't selling Win10 unless you have some clout. But beware of the automatic enablement of Bitlocker. THAT is a potential nightmare - DON'T lose your key because you won't be able to have someone recover a dying disk.
i have a visual setup that has a transparent apple-like taskbar that makes my wallpaper engine look as good as possible. so im okay not switching for now.
Hi I upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11 but ever since I keep getting a error after Windows 11 boots up I tried resetting my pc but still the error comes up please help thanks in advance
I use Affinity Photo for editing images because it's a one-off payment and it can do anything that I need it to do. I don't know of any problems with Adobe (although that doesn't mean there aren't any). It's just that it's a monthly payment for Adobe Photoshop, which put me off of using it.
(Everything I'm about to say might be wrong; please do correct me if anyone has more up to date info!) While DirectStorage is a good bulletpoint for the future, it's worth noting that as of this writing there are very few (maybe even *no*) games that support it. The API was only finally released in April of this year, and last I heard it maybe didn't even support the GPU decompression yet. So: it's absolutely a strong feature to be aware of, because it WILL make your games load faster when it's widespread! But don't make that your sole reason for upgrading to Win11 immediately, because nothing is using it yet.
@Tomas Toth here you have video saying truth about windows 11: ruclips.net/video/LcafzHL8iBQ/видео.html After watching that video I decided to NOT upgrade to win11, not worth it, at least for me.
Yes, I meant that I cannot see any major reasons to hold back on upgrading to Windows 11 (unless a computer does not meet the Windows 11 system requirements of course).
Love your content! You remind me very much of Malcolm from the BBC series Spooks/Mi5 (if you've ever seen it) In other words, you're the lovely tech guy with all the know-how and great advice
Sound should not be muffled on Windows 11. It might be that your sound device has switched to 5.1 or 7.1 speakers output when you're using 2 or 3 speakers (3 speakers being 2 speakers and a bass speaker). If you do have 2 or 3 speakers, try going to your sound settings and changing the output from 5.1 speakers to 2 / 2.1 speakers.
. performance boost ... 😂.. not from what everyone has literally told me...bs. the same apps don't launch faster..not sure where you're getting that nonsense from.. winturd 11 is just a more bloated version of 10...and microcrap removed things that many people used ( such as toolbar folder right on the damn taskbar to put whatever they wanted on it)

Thank you for this video! I've been using w11 for about a month and unfortunately my Nvidia drivers crash quite often, hope they'd fix this soon :)
No problem. Good luck with your computer.
Snap Layouts are 🔥🔥🔥
Are we going to get a 8 reasons to stay with Windows 10?
Unlikely.
Actually, after thinking about it, that's a very good idea for a video!
Plz do a video also on 8 reasons not to upgrade to Win 11. So I can make a final decision!!
That is a video I'm working on. So yes, that will be coming soon.
im more on apps and games compatibility , thanks to 8 reasons goin to 11 soon

How about using Adobe Premiere Photoshop and Lightroom. It is fully compatible with no bugs and is the speed faster or pretty much the same?
I know that one year ago there were many issues. You did not mention any fixes.

Hi, what do you mean by a TPM Chip? Is that a piece of hardware I should buy when building a PC, or is this a virtual "chip"?
a TPM chip is part of the latest CPUs (built into them). So if you're building a new computer, there's nothing extra to buy.
@@EasyPcRepairs thanks a lot!

just to get the most out of objectivity, is there any reason NOT to upgrade it?
There aren't any reasons that I can think of. It has all the good parts of Windows 10 and some extras too.

Is there a way to fix the muffled output sound of windows 11?

Does Win 11 allow you to uninstall Edge?
The "uninstall" for Microsoft Edge is greyed out and cannot be uninstalled.
@@EasyPcRepairs Yeah I thought so. I hate Edge and I hate that they force it on you.
@@Leadfoot_P71 hey mate. it's not that bad. edge does not place that tremendous memory allocation and cpu usage on your PC meanwhile chrome....
Why would you do that? Edge is the only browser that bypasses Netflix DRM for 4k UHD content.
