This was such a great show. It was one of the first grown-up shows I watched without my parents. One of my favorite shows from 5th grade through high school. It’s a shame how it’s been all but forgotten. When I was 5 or 6, I remember first seeing Robert Wuhl in Batman 89. Then as I got older and into sports, I saw him again in Bull Durham. His characters from those two movies had a certain George Costanza vibe to them lol. The 90’s… how I miss you.

Well im not a big sports fan either only like football ( called soccer in the US) And I found this series really great it has its moments give it a 7/10 Too bad it hasnt been released on DVD . Hbo is ignoring emails about arliss. U can find vhs rips on the net cca 50episodes cheers

This was a great show that never really disappointed. Makes all these clowns analyzing sports 24/7 look like the boring no talent crap that they are. Wow, analyze sports details no one cares about all day with zero comedy and plot structure- just do not compare yourself to real entertainment talent like Robert Wuhl. ( I can send you sports geek talkers free copies of my comedy dvd and golf dvd to get you off your training wheels ).
I liked this show I even picked up the DVD it was in a discount bin I even met the expert consultant Leigh Steinberg who was a guest speaker at my job Jerry Maguire is meant to be a biographical based on Mr Steinberg I heard it wasn’t well critically acclaimed and some sitcoms would make fun of this show anybody know how that came to be?
I just heard IMDb saying hater type stuff and The Simpsons, post prime, calling it awful but for me it had its own special charm about it. Jerry and Arli$$ are supposed to be the same since Mr Steinberg was the model and on set consultant for both productions.
Are you talking about the one in the opening credits in at least one of the season. I have been trying to find that myself. What is sad is that it was a poorly shot clip. There is a light drowning her out and you can't even make out her face.
