I'm not sure why anyone would thumbs down this video- It's one of the best out there to help figure out the old Brother sewing machines, and definitely more helpful than the instruction manual! Thank you!
Thank goodness there's people in the world like you Bibi. I have my grandmother's old machine. She had passed many years ago when I was young and it recently came into my possession. I never got the chance to sit with her to teach me. Now I can, and can pass those skills on to my daughters. Iam so looking forward to keeping her legacy alive with my future creations. I cant thank you enough
This tutorial has been very useful as it appears that this machine is very similar to the Lemair 933 machine that we recently got asked to have a look at by friends who had it passed down by a couple of generations. The main secret appears which way to thread the needle and once we did this as per your instructions, it sewed pretty good. We're happy that we were able to basically do a home service on it and now our friends are happy.
Thanks! I have a different model vintage machine so this video didn't answer all my questions but it definitely helped me start unraveling the mystery of what the heck to do with this big heavy bulk of steel and knobs!

I was missing one of the section to thread through and I thought the 2 silver buttons on the face were just there for this model because the next level machine would have a control there. Now I know it's to keep the stitch width lever in place. Thank you I am so appreciative! You've saved me money and throwing out this lovely machine. I wish I could like this video 10 times!
