With all of the advanced technology in newer electrical switchgear and equipment the failure mode has expanded exponentially with all of the solid-state electronics and plc's and logic controllers used to make it work. It is comical watching electrical techs and engineers push the close button on a large breaker and nothing happens. A mechanical switch can be opened and closed manually if required, cannot do that with a breaker.
Very informative video and will get a clear idea about switchgear testing. Expecting videos about how to use testing equipments.
