We should use our electronic devices for longer before upgrading. Instead of buying a new phone every 3 years, we should get the battery replaced instead if we need to. The reason why phones start to slow down after about 3 years is because the battery is old, so replacing the battery will probably make your phone feel brand new again. Same goes with laptops, smartwatches, and tablets. Apple has a very convenient battery replacement program that I'd say is worth checking out if you use iPhone.

I totally agree, but isn’t there also the issue of companies, like Apple, no longer updating older phones, leading them to stop working as well?
