- Entire recap of FL2k23 with the Nissan Z on aftermarket Turbos. Thank you to @goracebox for coming by. I want to thank everyone for the overwhelming support. First time at Bradenton Motorsports Park and I loved it. I will be going more often. Let’s see what the Nissan Z brings to the table next year.

The reason the track official moved you back is because you double bulbed without the left lane have a single light on. That messes with the tree timing so they had to move you back. It's standard that both lanes at very least light the top bulb before you stage.
Courtesy staging was in effect.

By all means you do you, but if it were me I’d put in a FT550 and put a big single turbo on it.(though I do realize it would be a chore to make the manifold) Then take some time testing and tuning it.

Dang bro this made me not want to do to much more to my Nissan Z 24' performance model
Why? I was just having hiccups. I go through things like this so those after me can enjoy their cars. Don’t get discouraged you’ll be ok.
Get the bugs worked out and work on the driver mod. Get a spotter to help line you up in the grooves. Practice makes perfect.
Being the first or one of the first is always a pain but leads the way for others

Seems like throttle got stuck open on stupid cause you was banging limiter still when it look like you was off throttle, happened to me a few times already must be a high hp issue lol. Really good save tho bro

Funny cause literally last night same shit happened to me again spinning real bad and getting stuck on limiter with full throttle off banging it like im wot till I shifted. Definitely be careful bro @@ZillaFullBoost

I gotta get used to do that. Every time I try to run it in auto I end up shifting it myself lol
Um.. you were lined up way out of the groove to the left.. hence why it went left.. and why are you the only person with an auto at the entire drag strip trying to shift it yourself?

17:21 this is why i stop racing. I detuned my Supra and Evo. Invested in Sim racing it's cheaper and safer. Plus my wife doesn't give me dirty looks
Yea I get it. I’ve chosen to race on the track vs street because of safety reasons. I get why you stopped entirely.
I’m looking into sims once I make space in my office. I’ll still be racing though. I’m still too addicted to it 🫠

You were staged to the left of the rubber tracks. That’s what killed your traction.
I staged myself in the shiny fresh prep as best as I could. I could have slipped out of it.
Why would you stay in it with it spinning and veering into the middle like that? Thats a stupid person move NGL...
It happened so fast and I controlled it best I could. I wasn’t in it in the other lane you can see the car nose dive. Something slipped/locked up. Maybe the diff idk.
I was off the throttle and it kept banging the limiter. I shifted into 3rd so it can stop banging the limiter and it pushed me forward hard even with very light throttle. Datalog shows I was on 10% throttle during that shift which is enough for me to just drive off the lane.
Like I said idk what happened. Freak things occur at times. The car for the most part stayed straight after that push to the left and no one was hurt.

Why buy a sports car and make it fast in a straight line? You should have gotten a gutted Datsun 510 and put a big motor in it instead of that heavy tuna boat. That car should have been set up for road courses where skilled driving is actually required. 😂
