Just a suggestion for your water tank... mount your tap higher than your tank as a “just in case “ the tap is inadvertently turned on. This way the water tank isn’t going to drain into the Troopy.

You made your bearing race look like a piece of cake to remove haha! I needed a solid 30 minutes of smashing for mine to come out, super sick watching you do the exact same cosmetic stuff I have done to my 96 Troopy. It seems they all need the same type tlc at a certain age. mine, with 500k km on it, just completed a 5 day (1500km) off grid track called the Holland track here in remote Western Australia with no issues (while 2 modern cars in our convoy tapped out).

This one was easier than other ones I’ve done in the past 😄 tough old reliable vehicles for the win!

You do make it look easy to do the bearings. Very nice to see Johannes. I am always keen to see what I will have do maybe one day when my Troopy is old. Right now it is blessed to still be under Toyota warranty 😜.
For my long range water setup I bought a 60l (16 gallon) container fitter behind the two seats and connected a hose which is routed to the back and connected to a cheap 12v car washing pump and hose. I also have cut off switch for when driving rough roads to protect it from leaking.
When I need water I just switch on the pump 🤙

I’m jealous of your Toyota warranty for your Troopy! We could never have that in Canada ☹️ thats a great idea for your water system!

Water (overfilling/splash) and cigarette plug ports (electrical) play nice together ?

That bearing is so much easier to work on compared to my 3rd gen 4runner

Yes! we used to have the 3rd gen 4Runner and the bearings were very difficult to replace which is a shame because they needed to be done frequently after mud and water intrusion
