I find this really interesting, as I'd prefer "mobility issues" or "mobility difficulties", because while everyone is different, my mobility aids and tools are to help with what is difficult for me. I think because "differences" reminds me of people avoiding saying disabled and going with "differently abled". Language is really interesting. ^^;
That is a really interesting insight and I do appreciate you sharing this with me. I use mobility differences not to avoid saying disability but to rather acknowledge that a disability should not be associated with them being an ‘issue’ or a ‘problem’. I feel referring to myself or others as an issue reinforces ableist mentalities. Yes living with a disability, they can be difficult, yes they can feel like an issue. I find the use of differences much more empowering and validating to my life experience so that’s why I use that term. It acknowledges that I’m not the problem, rather I need something to accomodate for how I’m different to the normal response. I need a tailored experience to make something more comfortable. Rather than calling myself an issue or difficult to work with. Everyone has language and ways they feel the most validated and I don’t want to discredit what makes you feel the best. I do however want to share why I used the term differences instead of difficulties so you can also understand my perspective on the phrasing!
Hi shelby :) omg that double handled mug looks so much like a koala head, so cute. The angular "sopisticated" mug, you didnt like as much, reminds me alot of a ice cream or lemonade glass. Maybe some sort of design with floating lemon slices and ice cubes could look so cute for summer. the rectangle mug with the thick handle looks so "masculine", which I sure some people really like. Maybe a design that looks like an australia native wood would really suit it? Love you and your videos so much, I especially enjoyed your past few videos about getting ready for the markets. All the best
Number 12 struck me as kinda 80s cyber vibes. If that makes any sense. I love how your reaction to the double hand mug was thinking about people with mobility issues right out the gate, it's so sweet. This was a really fun format and I loved seeing the different mug styles.
Now you need to pick your favs and paint them up for us 😊 i love to see your native florals. That little wombat will be so cute, the coffee mug, the hot chocolate mug, the curvy cup. One of each type maybe? Oh and that set of 2 different sizes was good too. So many different choices!
This was a treat! Your reaction to the wombat was priceless. 😁 I can't wait to see what you do with all these. It'll be great to have more of a selection to work with. I think my favourite is actually the stacking ones, I love the functionality and look of stacking mugs. Congrats on getting a bunch more molds, good to know that you don't have to worry about running out for a while. Have a great week!
Me too! I love being able to store more mugs in the one cupboard if they have a bottom that can be stacked! Definitely not! And I can always go back and get more from this person as they had so many! We barley even scratched the surface of their collection!
Mate I legit cried while we watched your last video, I'm just so thrilled for you. Your enthusiasm is infectious at the least, and just plain heart warming. Your world keeps expanding and it's like, so does ours? It's just wonderful to see you making all these new connections and finding new things. It makes my heart sing.
Seeing the joy on your face when you open a mold that reveals something that just speaks to you puts such a smile on my face. You truly made my day with the utter happiness of your reactions. Can't wait to see what you do with some (or even all) of them.
There’s so many lovely shapes here, but while it’s not my personal vibe-I think my faves are the ‘earthenware’ ones-the absolute joy and excitement you got from the wombat makes that my favourite bit of video. I wonder if there’s any way to repurpose that neat australia base from the leaky mould into one for a little trinket dish or something…
Number 12 reminds me of dumbbells. 😆 I love the set with two different sizes for couples. Now when they have different drink preferences, they can still have matching table ware for breakfast. It's like a visual symbol of togetherness while honoring uniqueness.
I love giant coffee cups! I think a rainy day theme would be super cute or some native flowers and butterflies xx I also think if any of them fit those take away rubber lids you could take off the handle and add that for office workers.
For number 14, maybe 1 of the handles that you have that came separate. The one with the really detailed flowers. Having the mug be large and smooth will make the flower handle pop. Thank you for sharing your finds. Can't wait to see what you do with them!
I love how excited you get about each mug. They're just simple mugs with different shapes and handles and you're just.. so hyped about all of them.. It's refreshing and genuine. Love your videos!
The wombat mug, gave me panda vibes (I love pandas), but I've never seen a wombat. Number 10 instantly said flower pot cup, cut off the handle and perfect size for succulents and smaller plants. I love a huge mug of tea. This was a great format. I'm glad you were able to get more molds and make sets. The double handled mug would be such a good mug for people with mobility needs.
Super seeing all your enthusiasm for MUGS. Your work will elevate even the simplest of those vessels. The tallest I believe is a beer stein and the pair are ‘his & hers’ a popular format from the past. I appreciate the ones with large handles as my Hubby needs them. As to the format; seeing several poured at once is a fun discovery, if you cleaned and bisque fired one week then decorated the next maybe with new glaze trials or testing the chalks it would be engaging. Cheers from the Midwest USA and welcome back from your successful event.
Shelby, I just wanted to tell you how impressed I am with you. I have been watching you since you first started making videos until you made your own you studio. You got a bigger kiln and now you’ve gotten more and more molds. It makes me happy because that means you’ll keep making videos and I just love watching your artwork. Thank you for sharing
I love them all! but I agree on the leaky mold being a smash, loved the one that was similar but a bit more curvy. I just love mugs!! So excited to watch your journey on these molds. One day I will own a Shelby Sherritt mug! Also so excited to see the complete honey pot!
Awh thank you so so much! I love them so much too! I hope you can own one all well one day! its so nice thinking of all these amazing people who have one of my artworks in their home!
this is the one hobby, that I wish I had delved deeper into instead of leaving as I got older. It is great, so glad to find you, I wish someone around me had classes again.
That double handled cup is perfect for me! Mobility issues and muscle issues. Some days I just drop everything. And I refuse to use a little kid sippy cup!
I know I sound redundant but.... YOU ARE FANTASTIC.... Kinda like Mary Poppins of the ceramic world 😅❤😅. YOU bring sunshine to cloudy days....cheering up everyone 💗🌞. Love ALL the new molds. Can't wait to see you do your magic ✨. From Western New York, USA. May God continue to bless you and your family in body, mind and spirit.
This was so neat to watch, it's fascinating to see the "behind the scenes" of your process. It's very evident how much you love what you do! Random question, though: where do you store all your molds?! I didn't realize you had so many!
Yess! Sometimes I forget that there is all this nugget information that goes on that I just don't show you because I am so involved in the process! At the moment these are stored in my old studio but that will come down and soon. My partner is currently constructing some nice shelves for me to store everything on in the new studio!
I love the tall mug ! 😊 Would be great for my cappuccino 's that I make at home as more room for the foam on top. Also, good for hot chocolate as room for marshmallows or whipped cream. Would be cute painted with some coffee beans.😊
Oh, Shelby!!!! I can see the joy all over your face! This is so exciting for me, your content has brought so much light into some really really dark times. It’s the authentic joy and passion you have for your craft….. You are just simply magical to me and so many others! I personally can’t wait for the leaf bowl…oh wait! 1965!!!!! Oh we are in for some amazing adventures !
I really enjoy your videos. I think sometimes u just have to let the mold be what it is. Don't try and make it something it's not. There were a few there that u weren't keen on that I thought were great. I love the one with the squarish handle that was open at the end. A handle u would see on a pouring pitcher. The tall mug with the long handle reminded me of an old beer mug. Just to name a few.👍
When you revealed the wombat mug I immediately thought of how stunning it would be with flowers painted around it. Can't wait to see you paint one of those!
I really enjoyed this video format. I liked seeing all the different mugs together, instead of 1 at a time. I especially loved seeing your reaction as you opened them lol!
How are you not completely overwhelmed with all these possibilities! So fun seeing all the shapes. Looks to me like you're getting more comfortable with the vlog-style filming too :)
Loved your joy especially the happy dance at finding the wombat mug. Loved all the mugs. I think the wombat mug needs to now be called The Wombat Mug. The leaky mug reminds me of some mugs Mum got in the 90's. Maybe with it lean into a 90's feel with some of the new magnet molds. Can I suggest with the molds that aren't in the best shape like the leaky one, to make as meany as you can from it till the old dies. Then it will be a very unique collectors piece. I really think people will be will to pay a little more for something knowing it's very limited and the mold will never be redone
Watching is like home. My mom was huge into ceramics in the 80s. I spent many an hour playing in the local ceramic studio where she went to paint and get her work fired. When they moved not too long ago she sadly decided to throw out all her molds because we had no idea what to do with them. Ah well. Enjoying your work and enthusiasm. Thank you for sharing!
I’m so so so excited to see the complete honey pot set!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 congrats on such a successful first market!! 🎉 and what a treat it must have been to meet so many local ceramicists and artists that could complete some of the sets you already have!
How incredibly exciting to have so many mug shapes! I think you definitely don't need to spend any more time on the wonky molds because they don't seem to be the most special and you have so many more options. I'm really looking forward to seeing what you can do with all of them!
Yes definitely! I was going to pretend I didn't know they were there but I was too excited to have so many amazing mugs to paint on. I figured this way I can start pouring them and painting them up ready to drink from!
I think mold 6 looks like a mushroom bottom and it would be so fun if you were able to make a mushroom to lid for it to make it a lidded mug that keeps seeping tea warm ❤. Edit: if you removed the handle from that last mug, you could make that a handleless mushroom mug like #6 or even like a mushroom sugar jar to go with the mushroom lidded mug... It still requires making your own lid though.
i love all your designs and pot styles...they are lovely...watchin from Philippines..🇵🇭 i subscribed for your channel coz your videos relieved me from some stress at work...good job..God bless...
13:39 This is why I follow you! Your passion and excitement is so pure and genuine, truly invigorating and so lovely to watch!! Keep doing what you love, you’re a star!
Seeing all these opportunities and success opening up for you is such a joy. Thank you for sharing your art and your beautiful self with us. Also, I love that you’re being careful to take care of yourself. Can’t wait to see what you do next.
I love the wombat mug!! You could even scrape the wombat out of there and use it as a frame to paint something else! I’m imagining like one flower in there with the rim of the mug matching the color of the flower 🌸
I've become addicted to your videos! To the point that I'm staying up late to see mystery molds and watch you paint. I love creating and painting and used to enjoy ceramic art with my mother-in-law and her hundreds of molds. Now I want to get back into it! Thank you for sharing your enthusiasm and creativity. Much love from the Rocky Mountains in Colorado USA. ❤
Yess you explained how I feel! I didn’t realise this was why I didn’t like it as much! Maybe it’s just because they over saturated the use of this shape in coffee shops?
An artist by the name of Piet Mondrian did some very contemporary work in the early part of the century. Those mugs would be beautifully done in his cubist geometrical abstract artist technique. Look him up you can get a lot of good ideas for that very modern mug with the square handle and I really like those I would buy it from you if you could adapt abstract style to The mug. I would buy those mugs from you a set of four and I'm from South Carolina in the United States
That pair of stacking mugs in the same mold reminds me of a set I had with my first apartment in the 80s, and they were from the 70s, so I could see those with a really 1970s drip glaze on them.
Love this format- everything you do makes me happy❤ I also loved the pouring out ASMR vibes. I could watch hours of cozy ASMR pottery things. I love the short/tall textured ones and that wombat one has my heart!
I absolutely love the wombat one! I can’t wait to see what you do with it! Some of the more groovy reto style mugs would be cool with like a lava lamp style blobs
That wombat mold would also be fabulous as a panda with a bamboo forest painted around the body of the mug. Or as a bear in a forest. So many possibilities!
What a fun new collection, glad you got some complete (semi-complete) some sets. Loooveeee the leaf bowl. I also love that couple's mugs, where one is slightly squat and the other is longer. Super cute!
I am a huge fan of any and all mugs, so it makes me happy to see you react to all the mugs with so much excitement! Can't wait to see what you turn them into 😄
15:29 my design idea for this mug would be to do a solid colour glaze around the foot and then bubble glaze it in the same colour fading it in intensity to the rim of the mug on a white background to really make them pop! I think it would look super cute!!
When you dropped the mug it literally startled me and I jumped. I didn't see that coming! lol I love you passion for your craft. Thank you for sharing your gifts and talents with us all.
I love seeing your reaction as you open the poured moulds! My favourites are the two textured ones as well as the wombat. I can't wait to see how your creativity will make all of them your own style!
I am beyond excited that the RUclips algorithm brought me to you. Your genuine love and excitement for your craft is infectious and inspiring! So looking forward to going through your content!
I really like the hot chocolate mug, the one after the broken one. It's the kind of mug you use sitting in front of a fire, looking out the window at the snow, curling up under a blanket with your feet tucked under you. With marshmallows in it. Yum.
Thanks for the memories. My parents used to have a mould company, selling generally green ware across Canada and I taught finishing classes in four locations for them. But I never really got to see the pouring very often. I’m at a point in my life now, where I would see that as being very enjoyable.
I love the first one, and I love the ones with the rectangular handles. I feel like you could do a real 80s vibe with beige and cream and pinks and maybe a bit of iridescence for those ones. Absolutely amazing!
Congratulation on your show! The wombat mug could also become a polar bear, sleeping in front of a full moon. W/ a gradation of dark to light blue night sky/stars as a back drop :) ? Oh and your double- handle mug looks like the head/ears of your flower hugging furries. I see to attach a nose and paint a floral head wreath along the rim? Love your whimsy, and keep up the fantastic work!
It’s very exciting to watch you open these and remember the ways that we use them like the cup you thought was a large cup and a small cup. We mostly pour that in iron stone or in another type of slip medium. We rarely poured that in regular ceramic and then we would bake it like the bean pots basically that dark brown with the crystals that exploded in cream and orange colors that was really popular.
Some of these mug shapes are so fantastic! The last one looks like it has an ear haha but I still love it. Also, while watching I just thought how wonderful your style of art would look in a jungle theme. With big leaves and jaguars and other things! Thank you for your channel and your bright spirit!
I really enjoyed watching your video on opening the 14 mugs. It was nice to see your reaction to all the different styles. I’m looking forward to seeing you do the different designs on them. Your work is so unique and amazing. I wish I could come to your studio. I love doing ceramics. It is so much fun and relaxing to do. I did it for years in the 60’s and 70’s. It was my favorite thing to do !!! Thank you for sharing your studio experience with us. 🥰❤ 18:33
The bigger the mug- the better! I really like the shape of the very last one and the hot chocolate mug. And i could imagine the milk shake shape perfectly in a fancy retro design as an eyecatcher on a shelf
Love the idea of the steampunk style for the angular mug. That would make a great gift for Dad’s or mechanics. Actually it also lends itself to Engineers or Architects as well. Lots and lots of options. I shared in your joy over finding the wombat mug. My heart just sang.
Growing up, I went to ceramics with my Mom (70's & 80's). The first mug you did, you can leave the handle off and use as a drinking glass. They stack so nice. My Mom made my brother and I special each one glass with our names and decorated then she put a ceramic frog at the bottom. We use to love to give our cups to friends w milk and see the looks on their faces when they got to the frog...hahaha. I do wish all mugs stacked as nice as this set did. They just need to be 16oz mugs now 😉
I feel like you could do a kids day and have all the mugs ready for them to decorate a mug for Mothers day or Fathers day. A kids imagination is so great that you could get ideas from them!
You are totally right about #10. It is so angular and pointy even though it is a round mug. Watching you turn it around it's almost like it would look so much better if it was upside down, with a wide bottom and a narrow top.
the square handled mug and the word "groovy" made me picture it with disco colors and patterns! like a dark lime green or hot pink. with some cool swirly glazes? your reaction to the wombat made me happy 😄
I love watching your passion and enjoyment at opening these mug molds! Tbh I was surprised you picked up more mystery molds cuz I thought you were trying to make more room in the studio and that the smash or pass series was to help clear out molds 😅 not that I am complaining I LOVE the mystery mold series and your enjoyment is infectious! I live in Fresno, CA and have been by the Duncan Ceramics building, they are still in business and still family owned, and the outside of the building is just so gorgeously decorated in colorful ceramic art so I enjoy when you get a mold from around my part of the world!
Clearing them out to make way for these 😂 hahaha So I have had something in the pipelines for over a year. I haven’t shared anything yet because I didn’t want too until it was here. I started smash or pass to move on some moulds so I could get more but I didn’t want to tell you that in case I didn’t go ahead with the new moulds! They won’t all fit in the new studio so moving on the ones I don’t love as much to move more excellent ones in! I will have some more smash or pass episodes soon just to purge and move some more on soon too! These definitely won’t all fit in the studio 😂 but I love how much we all love it so it had to be done!
That wombat mug had me squealing. Such a cute little fella! Would love to see it with your native flower work 🥰
Yesss I am so excited for that one ❤ I think it should look pretty cute!
Yes! I can't wait to see them painted
Loved it when you used the phrase ‘mobility differences’ instead of issues ❤. 💜💜💜
I thought the same thing. My husband is a Gulf War Veteran, and as a result of chemical exposures, he has mobility issues. This mug would be perfect.
I find this really interesting, as I'd prefer "mobility issues" or "mobility difficulties", because while everyone is different, my mobility aids and tools are to help with what is difficult for me. I think because "differences" reminds me of people avoiding saying disabled and going with "differently abled". Language is really interesting. ^^;
Me too!! I have had a stroke in the past and mugs like this are amazing!!
Does it t really matter? Don’t get it! Can ANYONE SAY ANYTHING RIGHT FOR YOU PEOPLE?
That is a really interesting insight and I do appreciate you sharing this with me. I use mobility differences not to avoid saying disability but to rather acknowledge that a disability should not be associated with them being an ‘issue’ or a ‘problem’. I feel referring to myself or others as an issue reinforces ableist mentalities. Yes living with a disability, they can be difficult, yes they can feel like an issue.
Thank you for sharing your enthusiasm with us! I really liked this format, it felt like hanging out at your studio together :)
Anyone else feel like you’re watching Shelby on Christmas Day. The joy this brings her is brilliant and so wholesome. Loved it!
May we all have such a thrill in our week as Shelby opening the wombat mug 🙌

This was a really fun format and I loved seeing the different mug styles.
I thought there might be a lid for the second piece noted on this mold and it could be a soup cup as well.
Yes that one had me thinking late 70s or early 80s sci fi. I could see that mug in the galley on a spaceship.
German bavarian beer mugs 😉
Now you need to pick your favs and paint them up for us 😊 i love to see your native florals. That little wombat will be so cute, the coffee mug, the hot chocolate mug, the curvy cup. One of each type maybe? Oh and that set of 2 different sizes was good too. So many different choices!
Wombat mug needs its own video for sure so you can try all the options!
You are so adorable. I loved all your reactions, and man you hit the muggerload! I can't wait to see what you make.
HEHE I love it the 'muggerload' so cute! I am so happy you liked this one!
This was a treat! Your reaction to the wombat was priceless. 😁 I can't wait to see what you do with all these. It'll be great to have more of a selection to work with. @@ShelbySherritt…do you buy any from Canada as l have about 100 ceramic molds in my storage unit that I’m trying to get rid of lol
I love the leaky one a handle big enough for 4 fingers❤
At 11:17 I literally jumped forward to try and catch the falling mug! Stupid, right? That just shows you how dedicated I am to you.
I gasped and moved my upper body closer but made no attempt to grab it. I failed.
aww I LOVE the wombat, I can just picture your style on it, for sure!
Would also work as a panda perhaps? Adorable!
Definitely! I think it could be a bear too! But I definitely saw wombat!
The last two feel more beer stein like, excited to see what you get up to with all of your treasures 😍
Seeing the joy on your face when you open a mold that reveals something that just speaks to you puts such a smile on my face. You truly made my day with the utter happiness of your reactions. Can't wait to see what you do with some (or even all) of them.

That's an excellent idea. My husband's coffee mug is twice as big as my coffee cup. That would be nice to have matching cups in our preferred size.
I love giant coffee cups! I think a rainy day theme would be super cute or some native flowers and butterflies xx
I also think if any of them fit those take away rubber lids you could take off the handle and add that for office workers.
I LOVE THE WOMBAT MUG! I can’t wait to see you decorate and fire that one. Flowering gum and wattle decorations!
For number 14, maybe 1 of the handles that you have that came separate. The one with the really detailed flowers. Having the mug be large and smooth will make the flower handle pop. Thank you for sharing your finds. Can't wait to see what you do with them!
There is something to be said about watching people do what they love. I love seeing people happy.
I love how excited you get about each mug. They're just simple mugs with different shapes and handles and you're just.. so hyped about all of them.. It's refreshing and genuine. Love your videos!

I love the tall mug ! 😊 Would be great for my cappuccino 's that I make at home as more room for the foam on top. Also, good for hot chocolate as room for marshmallows or whipped cream. Would be cute painted with some coffee beans.😊
Yes!!!! I have ridiculously oversized mugs just for hot chocolate with marshmallow consumption. 😋😊

The native wildflowers are some of my favorite designs you do
I love your reactions
You are so bubbly

I like your reactions to each mold reveal - genuine and very articulate. TFS
I love this! Still like smash or pass because you're saying why you love them or not but all the same item! A cool way to see more of the moulds.
Oh my gosh. Just you wait until you see next weeks video. It will be a real treat 😉
@@ShelbySherritt oh, I'm excited haha!
Your pure enthusiasm is an absolute joy to see. ❤️❤️❤️
i love all your designs and pot styles...they are lovely...watchin from Philippines..🇵🇭 i subscribed for your channel coz your videos relieved me from some stress at work...good job..God bless...
Loved this!! Some really cute shapes!! Can’t wait to see all the new ones!! 🥰❤
Thank you so much! Yesss so many cool shapes! I am excited for all the potential they hold!
The sippy cup! That made me so happy to hear you talk about humnas with different needs and being excited you can provie a mug to them
I've become addicted to your videos! ❤
I love a nice curvy cosy mug too. The angular ones feel impersonal… like you might find in a chain coffee shop
Your joy and enthusiasm is absolutely contagious ❤😁😁😁
Love this format- everything you do makes me happy❤
I also loved the pouring out ASMR vibes.
Love this format. Awesome to see so many molds
It is so good! It’s like Christmas!! Maybe I can do a couple like this moving forward and try and combine the different pieces!
Can't wait to see what you turn them into 😄
The last one looked like a bee hive so it would be super cute to add some of your bees.
Watching you do things that bring you joy is so soothing, you're like the bob ross of clay!
I love this format. Especially because it was different variations on the same shape. It made it much easier to compare and contrast the shapes.
Loved this! So fun watching you open so many! Can’t wait to see them all painted up! I could see they hot chocolate mug with a Christmas design on it!
I have become a little addicted to opening so many at once ❤ it’s like Christmas!! I love your idea for Christmas mugs!!
I really like the hot chocolate mug, the one after the broken one. It's the kind of mug you use sitting in front of a fire, looking out the window at the snow, curling up under a blanket with your feet tucked under you. With marshmallows in it. Yum.
Oh my goodness what an amazing thing! Can you imagine a stack of three of those stacking mugs with your design going up them in a stack! So cool!
We rarely poured that in regular ceramic and then we would bake it like the bean pots basically that dark brown with the crystals that exploded in cream and orange colors
that was really popular.
Some of these mug shapes are so fantastic! The last one looks like it has an ear haha but I still love it. Also, while watching I just thought how wonderful your style of art would look in a jungle theme. With big leaves and jaguars and other things! Thank you for your channel and your bright spirit!
Wow so looking forward to see with you doing the new mounds xx
I am so excited ❤ I have already started so many of them getting them ready for their videos!
Definitely can't wait to see one of those little duck magnet molds on a nice mug, like your mushroom mugs, but cute little duckies xxxxx
15:00 That one would make an awesome flower vase!
the last one looked like it has a really large ear. haha I do like watching you discover what you have. You have such a talent and are so sweet.
The last mug reminded me of a Yoshi egg. Making them into yoshi eggs or easter eggs could be cute :) Looove the surpise of a wombat in there too!
Growing up, I went to ceramics with my Mom (70's & 80's). The first mug you did, you can leave the handle off and use as a drinking glass. They stack so nice. My Mom made my brother and I
special each one glass with our names and decorated then she put a ceramic frog at the bottom. We use to love to give our cups to friends w milk and see the looks on their faces when they got to the frog...hahaha.
I do wish all mugs stacked as nice as this set did. They just need to be 16oz mugs now 😉
The really tall one could be a beer stein. Love your enthusiasm and positive energy! Congratulations on such a successful market. 🎉
Love watching you pour up and open new molds. Thank you for sharing your gift and love for what you do with us.
Clearing them out to make way for these 😂 hahaha
So I have had something in the pipelines for over a year.
I would love to see you paint the double handled mug like one of your koala pots with the handles being the ears! I think that would be so cute!
