best tutorial I have seen on the minelab manticore to date.
I agree
tell ya what cracking job and that man nos his stuff legend
I've loved my etrac laying down targets in the area that I'm detecting, and selecting exactly what I want to search for while notching out everything else.
i have the e trac too for five years now ! It's an heavy machine,, but fantastic ! I love the screen...For me, the best !
LEGITIMATELY excited for this machine. I'm curious about the possibilities of additional frequencies in the future through software updates. However, even at 40kHz, the 8" by 5.5" coil I feel is going to be a ninja at nabbing little bits of gold. I'd love to see CoilTek make a solid, sealed double-D coil for it. Just like the 10x5 solid for the CTX3030.
Even a solid cover to stop the sticks from getting poked through
I've already put my name down for one. I've had the Nox from the beginning and love to compare the difference. Watching the video I noticed the headphones. Is it possible to connect different headphones to the mantacore as I love my skull headphones 🎧 with twin male lead connection. I suppose time will tell if it's going to be better than the nox in live outdoor reviews. Just hope coiltex make a coil that fits the mantacore. 👍
Did they get the idea for the stem from Golden Mask ?
Why is that you see no water tests have they fixed the leakage problems tha the nox has
I've had small artifacts on 1 and 2 ,,,dig it all
You should just use a GPX lol
@@JACOB1556 your OK lol my main detector is rhe CTX and that thing sees through coke and found me 2 hoards and a amazing find ,bit disappointed by the Nox 800 really only bought it because its lighter than the CTX but the Nox likes coke ,I am a ears only bloke and never use numbers
@@crazycressy7986 the Nox is good but it miss targets on the beach and GPX is great for the beach. The Noxt does piss me off because when you get to those deep target the depth indicator starts to jump from 1 bar to max depth bars , you have to run the coil over the same spot multable times lol. And yeah the nox likes coke but does not like steel core coins so i miss all of those small spendables coins lol.
@@JACOB1556 would not know about beach detecting, I only do farm land looking for 2000 year old artists, was thinking about get a GPX as we found a few hoards but with the amount of iron and nails it would be impossible, but I have borrowed a friend's ATX to go back over the hoard area
@@crazycressy7986 nice
I will stay with the 800
Hola buenas, me gustaría saber si manticore tiene sonidos como ctx3030 i etrck , gracias
I own a nox 800 but am very happy to upgrade to this model but unfortunately my budget doesn't want it. maybe a donation for the new model, I would be very happy to advertise or do tests
Quality
why is the price of a manticore in America 1600 dollars and for Europe the price of a manticore is 1999 euros...can someone explain to me?
VAT Value Added Tax
Also, I would imagine, discriminate everything, blank, then notch IN specific targets you are looking for, like on the etrac ?
⚔️💪😎🏴🇬🇧
CooL..
Did they come up with a machine that discriminates??
For £1800 it shouldn’t break….what a load of rubbish
So the "more power" is not in depth but in the more intelligence ?
The claim is more depth in terms of target ID. So understands the deeper targets better - Dan.
@@thesearchermag time will tell 👍
I will most definitely be buying this machine I have a nox 800 and a vanquish 540 . I absolutely love the nox the vanquish I don’t care for the ergonomics but anything mindlab is amazing. Unfortunately I will not buy the machine until the bugs will be worked out and after the updates . Thanks for the video
A year on, not quite the detector it was hyped up to be.....
So you've been using it for a year? I'd like to know what it is that you find lacking?
@@stinkasscat stable target ID's, the 800 was far more stable, even taking into account the larger ID range.
@phrunt I watched one of your videos on the Manticore, and it was testing noise under power wires. Although the Manticore is a lot more complicated to set up, from all the videos I've seen, it's just as stable. If you try running high sensitivity all the time, then of course, you aren't going to have a stable ID. I've experienced jumpy ID with both 800 and 900. Xterra Pro has a jumpy ID until you turn it down to 18 or below. I don't consider this to be the main criteria for the rating capabilities of a detector.
I saw a ton of negative comments about the Manticore when it came out, and having the machine for anything less than six months doesn't qualify to know the machine.
If you are getting your information from Merrill, then you are headed in the wrong direction. I have an associates degree in electronics, and he doesn't know the difference in electronics between a detector and a vacuum cleaner.
I've had the 900 for a year and used it daily. By no means do I believe I'm an expert with it, but my finds have drastically improved over what I was finding with the 800. I doubled or tripled in each category the amount of finds over the 800. I ordered the Manticore this week since it dropped in price, and I will be back in six months to give you my honest opinion of using it. The experts that I do trust rate this machine at the top alongside the Deus II.
@@stinkasscat I've had it since it came out, it's a good detector, I'm not saying it's not, but it is less stable on Target ID than the Nox 800, I tend to run it on 17 sensitivity most of the time when coin hunting even if there is no EMI problems as any higher and the ID's become even more unstable. It's a shame it's a bit of a step backwards for ID's, in all other areas its a step forwards.
@phrunt Can you show me a video of what you are talking about? I just watched Stef Digs' recent video from a day ago, and she was getting stable numbers while running sensitivity at 24. Do you do the long press when making a noise cancel? I've heard that this handles the emi much better.
