Beautiful day up there that day. Great catch on that tiny flake with the manticore. Very impressed it can see stuff that small. As always buddy I had a blast and look forward to the next outing.

New sub. Gonna get video on big screen. Just got my Manticore. No gold fields around here, but theres plenty of other goodies, like coins and beach hunting. Later.

I have been reserving the Manticore for coins but will try it out for patch clean up after seeing this! Only minus I have struggled with is attempting to run close to the 6K. It does not like the 6K at least I have not figured it out yet.

Yeah you can't run the Manticore and the 6000 too close at all. Both are powerful machines.

Getting mine tomorrow. 1199 sale. I own an old gold mine town site and my gpz 7000 finds all them boot tack tips at 3'. Tired of that. Hoping this manticore will assist in discriminating.

That's frustrating, I know, but you must dig most of them. They can mask a nugget. I only have a limited amount of trash targets, I can stomach digging in a day.

Thank you for the video! I have a Manticore and would love to know what your settings are?

I run on 20 sensitivity. Other than that it is default settings for prospecting.

I know the M8 would be better for the small gold, but what do you think about the M9? I have always liked round over the elliptical coils. Enjoyed the video Reese.

I watched the video on the M9 and I think that particular coil will be best suited for treasure hunting and beach/underwater hunting. I do use the 12x15 M15 and I love that coil. It was the M15 I was using when I found the two species

nice small pieces! just curious their weight in grams? My smallest with the 6000 and a Coiltek 5'x10" was a .68 grain. How is your new book coming along? Keep swinging and heavy pans!

I didn't weigh them Tim. The smallest one wouldn't even weigh in with grains.
