Thanks for the video !! WOW it’s Very Sensitive I’m quite impressed !!, I’m from Australia and it’d interesting to see how it works here in the very mineralised ground . Please post some more nugget hunting videos and info 🙏🙏👍👍👍 .. Thanks Again
It would have been great to see the Monster swung over those same targets before digging. I've been able to find smaller and deeper gold with both the Monster and the Gold Bug 2 ( mine was purchased in 2002). For the price of the Manticore one could purchase a Monster and a Legend (for example). I'm wanting a Manticore to hopefully better isolate gold targets from all the iron junk but still on the fence and watching and reading all the reviews I can find.
Thanks for taking us along! The manticore is pretty impressive at 2" or so. As a guess would you say the monster still prevails for a little more depth? Was the soil alkaline and would that have changed the numbers you were getting? After a rain in wet alkaline soil the 6000 was unstable and had to go to the 7000 on one trip. Did not try a vlf.
Never used a gold monster so I don't know how they would compare. Yes soil is alkaline and fills the Deus mineral meter about half way. When this soil gets wet it is pretty tough to hunt.
when you get those numbers that you think could be iron why dont you just check with the magnet first instead of putting it in the scoop and checking? Looks like a great machine, I just ordered mine its shipping out monday. I cant wait to try it out on the beach and relics in SC. Subd
The problem with Montcur is that it does not provide better sensitivity, as they say, it is 50% better than previous devices. There is nothing new necessary from a new update. Is the sensitivity problem on the same device? What is the benefit? The sensitivity reaches only 22
How does the manticore handle the mineralization in the goldfields compared to the Equinox's? Do you feel the m8/manticore combo is better/deeper than the 6”/Equinox?
I feel like the Manticore is less noisy than the Equinox when ground conditions are tough. Hard to say if the Manticore is any deeper than the Equinox with the 6" coil. I would say they are probably about the same.
@RelicsRings thank you. I love your videos and your work. Do you think the manticore could be better than the goldmonster 1000? Or what do you think are the pros of each one and differences. Tha ks.
@@Pureinfinitelove I personally like the Manticore better than the goldmonster because I have control over the ground balance on the Manticore. The monster is always tracking.
Thanks for the video !!

looks like its doing good
Great video unreal how it can find those small nuggets
Thanks. It really does well on the small stuff for a detector that's not a gold only machine.
@@RelicsRings yeah I got one this Christmas but live in Ohio I’ll put it to use though
Great video Andy! Thanks for all of your work and dedication to this hobby.
Thanks, Jeff. Glad you liked it.
Great video. This is the first gold detecting video I’ve seen. Looks like a blast. I just bought a Manticore. Thanks.
Love the video Andy! Makes me wish even more than I could get an M8 before the snow flies though.
Thanks Dave. Glad you liked it. I really thought they would have coils out by now. Don't know what the holdup is

Sorry I don't have either one of those detectors. I do like the Manticore and it's multi purpose uses though.
Man what a great quality video almost felt like I was detecting 👍
Awsome video enjoyed watching:)
Thanks

Now you have some tiny gold to compare the new Deus 2 gold mode (2.00 update) vs the Manticore’s gold mode. Let’s see a comparison video.
I have one coming in a few weeks

Unless the iron is on top of the ground or in lose dirt the magnet won't pick it up. But yea I really am liking the Manticore the more I use it.
@@RelicsRings right on, that makes sense. I just got my tracking number on mine. I can't wait to try it out.

Well, the real problem is that you can't use the higher sensitivity settings at most sites. So it really does, you no good.
Tracking off would be better.
Manual ground balance is the most sensitive.tracking off.

Hi. If there would be bigger nuggets would still sound and louder right? How deep can go?
Yes bigger nuggets sound louder. Hard to say how deep you can get, depends on mineralization in the ground.

@RelicsRings thank you a lot man. 💓
