Isle Royale has been my prettiest hike this year. I did it in July by hiking the Minong Trail, and just finished my RUclips series. Glad to be here to support your channel. Thanks for sharing.
@@JROutdoors I tried to get early permits to Glacier and to Yellowstone, both were denied… so I’m probably gonna hike a wilderness area in Colorado to replace the Glacier trip, and get a walk up permit in Yellowstone.
I can't believe I actually won a Glacier permit. I didn't hear from them for 6 weeks. I've been denied during the early permit process at Glacier several years running. I entered the Yellowstone lottery, too. My date was one day before the permits went on sale to the general public. I was hoping to get a permit in the Bechler area. No such luck. Like you, my backup plan was going to be in Colorado in an area that didn't need a permit or had walk up permits.

Hard to believe that we haven't made it to Isle Royale yet. Nice trip! 👍
I was wondering if you've been to Isle Royale. You'll love it there.
👍 Great hike ! I’ve always wanted to hike there …. Just have never made it happen. 👍
It's an awesome place. I think you'll enjoy it. I'm heading to Glacier NP in September. What trips do you have coming up?
