My grandpa passed a few years ago. He was a big outdoorsman. I was watching the video and for like a half second I thought "hey, I should show this to grandpa." I miss him :'(
I know they don't get as many views as the shorts and are probably a lot more work but I love these calming vlog style videos. Really interesting and calming at the same time. Great to put on before bed. I'd love a big playlist of them to leave running.

Just watched this. Took me back to my trips there, '96 & '04. And was nice to see the trail I took to Daisy farm. At the end, YOU nailed it. Your heart ...part of it stays there. Boat trips back I've witnessed silence and teary eyes. There's just something about that magnificent Isle. Like going back in time.

I just knew you were a Yooper! I'm from the Detroit area, but most of my extended family is from the Upper Peninsula, and I spend at least a week every summer up at our property on Lake Superior. My family and I also spent a few days on Isle Royale in 2019, as a present from my parents for graduating college. It's got to be one of the most beautiful places in the entire world!

gino hiking 3 miles up and down hills and rocks, through the rain with a torn acl, meniscus and lateral ligaments is probably the toughest thing I've heard in awhile. respect buddy.

I live in michigan aswell, and my seasonal depression is kicking in and these adventure videos are really helping me to feel better. It reminds me of what a beautiful state we live in & how lucky I am to live here. Even though the cloudy gray days are getting me down right now.
