Wayne Diaries is doing the trip right now in a 17 foot open boat. Amazing. A link to his channel is in the description. I'm heading to Florida myself soon. Thanks for sticking around...stay tuned;)
Wow! Thanks for this one B. I felt your excitement too. Man when you twisted that door knob....I thought we were in!...Lol. Anxious to see were we go next.
It's a different world up there Tony. Feels like natural rules...not us. All the nooks and crannies. Old camps. (Next video) I just wish I could bring the brat! Gets lonely.
I was out there about 25 years ago to do some backpacking. We chartered a boat out of Grand Portage. One of the most interesting parts of the trip was the tour we got around the island of all the lighthouses and fishing communities. I can only imagine what it would be like to live out there back in the early 1900s. Truly an amazing place. I really want to go back there. Thanks a lot brenton, excellent video.
We know exactly how you feel when discovering a new to you place. We rented a boat at Rock Harbor and visited that lighthouse in 2016. The view from the top is amazing. Isle Royale is one of my favorite places. I think it is because of how few peiple are there.~Scotty
Poor Wavey! She missed you! I watched this video earlier today but for some reason I didn’t see my comment! I have a tendency to watch your videos a few times anyway! Found a lighthouse!? That’s cool! Ahhh bummer you couldn’t get in! That is always so cool to see inside! When you said someone “Gatta moose” I started singing Bohemian Rhapsody (if you know which part I am talking about) 🎶Scaramouch scaramouch will you do the fandango🎶 AHHHHH and the lighthouse was locked!!?? Maybe someone should remove or cover the sign jeeeez! Hope you go back though! Pretty cool!
Thanks for the video. I don’t know if you have plans for Florida or not. Ian has wreaked havoc on a good part of the state. It’s a big state though. 😉👍
When I was at Edisen fishery 20 years ago it was in rough shape. There was an old gas boat there with a Scripps-Booth engine they were trying to preserve. Looks like that's gone now.
The buoy bell isn’t it crazy how sound carries across water and yeah I get what you’re saying about the adventuring everything new is like an adventure, man specially stuff like this is so much fun, but can you imagine the guts those guys had back in the day when it was actually unexplored they didn’t know there was no red and green markers coming into the harbors Man crazy so it’s a little safer but that makes you want adventure even more right
Pretty cool cause I’m watching this again. I know again but I have my new I’ll Royal national Park map in front of me and I’m discovering it in a different way. I will be there man so awesome so so so so so awesome.!!
Could you live here…man that would be my dream..as a real young kid I read all the books on Davey Crockett and Daniel Boone I could find and that looks like there is some elbow room up there..
@@backwatersandbackroads cool man..I can’t wait to be up closer so I can reach it easier..from Marinette I could just trailer the yellow submarine launch at the Hauton canal..well guess I could do that from here lol
Who's that girl wearing nothing but a smile and a towel in the picture on the billboard in the field near the big ol' highway? I didn't see the ghost or the bikini. But I do have a camouflage thong I wear around camp when I'm alone or with very close friends. If I watch this on different devices does it count as two views? ;D
She's a super babe from 1966 (before western governments started trying to kill us) apparently she haunts places (like lighthouses) you can see her...but not her bikini (its Invisible) she chased me all over the island, but I didn't even know it. Sort of like the movie "The Ring" I didn't realize she was after me until I watched the footage. You have to watch the episode at least 4 times to catch her...including commercials.
Crazy thing you think invasive species we worry about that stuff I mean obviously I don’t want the Asian carp in Lake Michigan but imagine when God flooded the world man talk about species in the water going everywhere or like back in the day when the oceans were high things spread of the round everywhere, so really if you think about it, there’s no such thing as an invasive species

Another Cool Find, Life should be an adventure, great vlog, but the locked door was a bummer,
Best adventure yet, Brenton! Unbelievable scenery! Miss Wavey though! Can't wati to go back and see the inside of the lighthouse.
I felt the same way everytime I explored a new Gentlemen's Club. 😆 Too bad that lighthouse was locked. I was getting excited too.
Somehow this episode inspired me to rewatch the shanty boat adventure down the mississippi episodes. See you there.

I hate that she can't come. Better make a stop at the dollar store before you pick her up. Lol!

Idk why but when I hear "rock of ages" I start singing the song. Now I got Def leopard stuck in my head all day🤣
Me too! I edited out a section where I started singing that in fact;)
That fishing camp is really neat! I'd love to explore that entire area too. Looks super interesting!
If you ever get over here Norm, gladly take you there. And fishing.

Yep Webpage says it is open on Tues, Thursdays and Saturdays during the Summer Months. They also have tours that stop there on those days.
For sure could live there if the fish are around, there’s no bears and plus the outhouse opened for public use. 😮

I bet a democrat wrote that ,giggling as they locked it up!
Because a Republican can't write? LOL... Kidding, I don't think either can write.

Just slower to get together areas that’s all but I hate Asian carp or maybe they might be good? I mean I’ve not had a. Catfish ever.
