Thank you for your story and your tips. They give me a lot of mental strength. I was diagnosed with incompetent cervix at week 20. At week 21, I had a cerclage and put to modified bedrest. But my cervix kept shortening from 1.5cm to no measureable length at week 24. I am at the hospital now and it is a very hard time for me and my husband. I felt why it is me and my husband who is going through all this. I have to stay at the hospital till I deliver the baby. My doctors thought I would be delivering the baby at 24 weeks. when the doctors said that the impacts of the baby born at 24 weeks were much high and if I wanted to rescutitate the baby, it felt that as though time had stopped for us, but we decided to give our best shot. I am still at 24 weeks 4 days, and I pray everyday that I can reach the 36 week mark and deliver a healthy happy child. Do keep praying.

I've been on modified bed rest for about a month now and your mindset can really go down quickly if you let yourself sit there and overthink about the unknowns of the future, to where I just get in such a negative attitude about everything and take it out on the people around me. I'm still adjusting to my life being like this, and am trying to make the best of what I've been given. Remaining hopeful is the best we can do! I lost first at 23wks second pregnancy 3cm dilated at 16 wks then had a emergency cerclage and warned it might not be successful...had a healthy boy at 39wks after being induced and an emergency Cesarian...3rd pregnancy conceived twins but b4 cerclage can be put it lost the babies and hemorraged..4th pregnancy had a cerclage at 10 weeks then developed infection from the surgery went septic and lost the baby....now finally pregnant again only because my son is desperate for a sibling he is now 8 years old...pray it all goes well. @@lakeithbailey9345 unfortunately the Cerclage failed me at 22 weeks … However I am now 12 and 3 days and I’ve been taking the Progesterone capsules and I have an appointment 10/7 to discuss the Cerclage again, last year we didn’t know until I was too far along… But this time around we have been proactive about things and we know what we need to do moving forward.

The hardest part is being dependent on others for everything. I am on bed and others are bringing me 3 time meals.. doing laundry etc. And I am here watching everyone from my bed.. although my doctor said that I'll be able to resume normal activity after a few weeks. I hope it happens soon. Right now i am on bed

omg this video❤️, i got a cerclage at around 13 weeks and been on bedrest since then. Today i am 17 weeks and i found out that i have i a incompetent cervix. The dr added more progesterone and medicne, and am on bedrest till pregnancy. Before i wasnt worrying as much but since todays news im in shock idk. This is my first pregnancy after 10 years of trying & its through ivf. I really want this to go through the 5 more more i have. Thank you so much for this video. I am on my second 12 week bed rest in my second longer pregnancy due to incompetent cervix and this has been saving my day. I have a suggestion for you: Could you maybe make a video about how to get fit after a bed rest pregnancy? Both for birth and after birth? I stayed on bed rest until 37&0 in my first and had my son at 38&4. I did a lot of walking and swimming in those precious 10 days but still felt so so so weak. Now I have completed 8 weeks of bed rest and am feeling the muscle loss again. I get weaker every day.. also I needed a few months to fully recover after having my baby. I'm facing the same thing currently, for the same problem. I haven't come to the point of needing a cerclage, but on the progesterone gel and received the beta steroids shots to develop the lungs, just incase. I’m so happy I found your page. I’m on first month of pregnancy and my doctor found a subchorionic hematoma and told me I have a threatening miscarriage so I was put on bed rest. Hearing that news really killed a peace of me inside. I have 2 beautiful angels at home and didn’t understand why . It’s not fare.There’re so many bad people out their that hate there’re kids or kill them and I who love my baby’s and do no drugs. Don’t drink. Hear that I can be losing a precious life inside me.? I am sitting here on my bed hoping that ball of blood doesn’t grow bigger or hurt my baby. I’m happy I found your page because your hope gave me hope. And I’m going to start being positive because I know November 24 I will bring my baby home with me.

This is my 4th pregnancy..diagnose with CI at 18 weeks and got cerclage for the 1st time.bed rest without bathroom previlage until my term. hopefully this will help us to have a baby to take home.can't take the pain anymore of losing a baby.

Wow... i had just joined a gym. I didn't want to gain to much weight while pregnant! I'm on steroids and it's so hard to get rid of the weight once you gain it I decided that I was going to control and manage my weight and my figure during this pregnancy just to find out that I have an incompetent cervix and I had to go on full bed rest and the gym was out of the question

Bed rest is tough, I’m 29 weeks on bed rest for complete Placenta Previa , sciatica, pelvic girdle pain and was in hospital last week for consistent contractions every two minutes. It really does require strength bc all you have is time to think. I will try some of your suggestions.

@@lakeithbailey9345 I could use the bathroom but bled every time I walked. Mi was on bed rest till the 8th month of my pregnancy. It was hard. I cried every single time I saw blood.

This is my 4th pregnancy..diagnose with CI at 18 weeks and got cerclage for the 1st time.bed rest without bathroom previlage until my term. hopefully this will help us to have a baby to take home.can't take the pain anymore of losing a baby.

Deepika Pandey the less you stand the better if you are in CBR..eat more fiber to have better bowel movement..small meals only every 2-3 hours.

Wow... i had just joined a gym. I didn't want to gain to much weight while pregnant! I'm on steroids and it's so hard to get rid of the weight once you gain it I decided that I was going to control and manage my weight and my figure during this pregnancy just to find out that I have an incompetent cervix and I had to go on full bed rest and the gym was out of the question
Please pray to my wife and my baby ...she also taking bedrest due her internal bleeding ...this is my second baby and my first baby die due miscarriage😭
Tnz God after 1week of bed rest the result of ultrasound is NORMAL and the baby is Good and my wife also

Thanks for sharing. Bed rest is tough, I’m 29 weeks on bed rest for complete Placenta Previa , sciatica, pelvic girdle pain and was in hospital last week for consistent contractions every two minutes. It really does require strength bc all you have is time to think. I will try some of your suggestions.

I am on bed rest for a week now. My cervix is open at 8 weeks, I have some medication including endometrin to help.
How far along are you now and do you have yo remain on bed rest for the remaining weeks till birth?
