Hey Webby. Love your reviews. I'm really looking forward to taking possession of our Sport! Thanks. ps...the backwards and forwards and side to side display you refer to in the mud and ruts display would be 'pitch' and 'roll' in aviation terms. Cheers.
I just went and saw this at the Ford dealership, I definitely want one, I wish I could just pick one out and pick it up in a few weeks, I hate the delays
Great review and very informative Webby.just sub! When you do the drive review, Can you make note of the difference in ride quality between the models due to different tyre sizes?
@willowgolf Thank you. That's an interesting question actually. I don't know the exact power differences between the different driving modes, but I know that Eco modes always have a softer throttle response and lighter steering compared to 'normal' mode.
Great review - thank you. Interested in a one on one comparison to the platinum price vs options.. also the wheel size are important, the roads in Victoria in particular are getting nasty to the point my VF wagon is just not safe hence looking for a lager SUV..
@@WebbyOnCars ...so, according to Ford, that means that your vehicle should be referred to as a 2022 version, rather than 2023?? We signed a contract in August, for a March, 2023 delivery, but have recently been advised that they stuffed up our order and the delivery date has been moved back to August, 2023. It means that we'll actually be getting the raised black rails, now, so not too upset.
If you get the Red arc trailer brakes put on later instead of factory tow pack, can you still do things in the screen like checking trailer lights and extending blind spot monitor?
@Sharron Teague You still get the trailer light check but not the extended blind spot monitor function. You also miss out on the trailer profiles and the trailer sway control only uses the vehicle brakes not the brakes on what you’re towing.
I currently have a 2021 Everest sport and although it comes with the over head vents for air conditioning it doesn’t provide heating to the middle of the car, where my 2015 trend did. Does the 23/24 come with heating in the middle part of the car?
Cheers for another good review Webby, Does the dealer fit the ARB accessories ( Bull Bar etc) on the Everest for warranty reasons or do you send the car to ARB to fit ?
@rob fowler Thanks, I’m glad you enjoyed the video. It’s more expensive to get ARB accessories fitted at the dealer due to the 5 year warranty, so some customers choose to go the cheaper route and get them fitted directly at ARB
@@WebbyOnCars if you get the accessories fitted at ARB directly are they still covered under the 5 year warranty? Or do you have to order them through the dealer to secure the warranty?
When I was reversing on steep drive way with the sport, it applied break automatically. Is this autonomous break system? Is there any way that we can turn this off in these circumstances?
Webby, u sound like your from uk with a aussie twang. I love the Ranger but can’t justify the rear bed as it’s a waste in uk/for me, I’m a Ford fanboy and wish they sold this Everest over here because of the boot. The Edge is too small especially in the boot area and bland. If this Sport was imported to uk what would I need to change (if anything) to make road legal here? I also love the Explorer ST in the US but LHD only.
@Tony “wheely” Barrow yes, I’m originally from the UK, I lived in Kent until I moved to Australia at the start of 2013. I’m surprised you don’t get the Everest in the uk, it’s a great car. I’m not sure what you’d have to change if you imported one, both countries drive in the left so shouldn’t be much

@webby on cars I just don’t get it why can’t we get the explorer. The fords that are built in the US and the ones built outsides obviously have a difference in quality. I’m not anti ford I just hate the models we get as they aren’t true ford.
@@KloudConnect I drove one of the platinum’s yesterday and I can promise you the quality is exceptional! I’d put it on the same level as our $120k VW Touareg in terms of internal Cabin quality and comfort, driving on the road was fantastic, very quiet in the cabin, seats are very comfortable and is an SUV you’d be happy touring round the country in! So my assumption here is that you’ve clearly not gone and driven/seen one of the new Everest’s in person.

The Touring Pack is supposed to include raised black roof rails, so your show car may only have the Towing pack???

Does the new Everest require AdBlue? Also, what sort of speakers are included in the Trend model?
@Vanning Around Yes, all models of the new Everest require Adblue. The speakers aren’t branded, but they do sound good

@user-xy7xz5cr3q 7 seats are standard on all models except the entry level Ambiente where they are optional
