@@lyndacesarcosplayer Yes, it messed me up too until I learned that truth. I think oftentimes it's our ego/pride that insists on what we want and we convince ourselves that the thing is from God when it's really our own desires. God is not Santa Clause or a Genue out here gifting us our every desire/want but he will be always meet our needs. And that's because He knows best.

Keep praying and seeking and God will reveal the answer in due time.

I sometimes hate the stigma that if a woman is well spoken and vocal that she somehow looses her feminine side. I understand there’s a time and place for everything. But all of the podcast she has been on she was invited to, they wanted to hear her feedback and thoughts. So when she’s confident and passionate about what she’s speaking on, it is viewed by some as too masculine or aggressive. I love that LW let her speak and complete her thoughts and allowed her to tell her truth. ❤

If I’m operating in my low functioning, cover me and shield me if you have the emotional bandwidth to do so. Help me stabilize back to shore. Don’t leave me to drown! Beautiful story. This is my story as well. I prayed for my mom. I wrote my mom a letter. I placed the drafted letter in her car and had the song This Battle is Not Yours by Yolanda Adams set for her to hear when she started the car. She went on about her day. She stopped over to my aunt's house, about to do her drugs, and saw a man walking in the back of the house where no one could walk. She stopped using and has been off drugs for over 20+ years. When our loved ones are off drugs we have to continue to be there for them and show them they are loved and appreciated.

I am so thankful for this interview and being able to relate to you both. My father was an addict my whole life up until he was killed by police in 2022 due to a false DV call, in Lake Wales FL. I surrendered to God in a time where I literally told God I had nothing to say to Him because I was so hurt. God told me vengeance is mine. I prayed for the female that called the police and prayed for the police officers that not only showed up to the scene but killed my father. My aunt's persistently requested the body-cam footage for months to no avail. Finally they were called to view the footage to realize that it was edited. I continued praying and encouraging my family to pray as well as have patience and wait for God to work during this challenging time. As a result 2 of the cops were fired, the female that called the cops died 6 months later and the Chief of Police was "forced to resign" at the beginning of this year. God is Faithful! It is still hard for me but knowing all that God did gives me comfort. Blessings to you both!

I first learned of Dr. Cheyenne Bryant in the comments section here on DFW when people kept on suggesting her. So, I searched her name and the interviews with Cam Newton and Nick Cannon were the firsts to pop up. I'm only 30 minutes in and have to stop to work. I'm excited to watch the rest of the episode because she seems more calm and poised sitting with you Laterras than she was on those two previously mentioned podcasts/interviews. You have a way of bringing out the best in people because you see the best in everyone.

And them both being with low functioning females that won't demand committment before breeding their children. Broken homes etc...listen to them both. Laterris is a high functioning man so this conversation is not as stressed. He understands

I mean no judgement but her Role Models are TD Jakes and Noel Jones who had his own girlfriend for how many countless years and only recently married her. His behavior on the Preachers of LA show was disgusting and embarrassing to the body of Christ. A Bishop that doesn’t even honor the text on what Elder Qualifications are. A man by all accounts who doesn’t demonstrate integrity and seems to be above reproach within the body and he doesn’t hide it. His supporters love his sin life because they like the sin in their lives. This woman seems to possess a form of godliness yet she doesn’t seem to possess the Holy Spirit. No I haven’t the ability to inspect her heart but her fruit speaks volumes. Also she keeps mentioning “catch phrases and affirmations” as references from Scripture and a Biblically illiterate Christians won’t pay it attention or be bothered by it. Naturally speaking I want to like this lady because I don’t disagree completely with her philosophy but there is just something about her that doesn’t agree with me. Please be careful who y’all let disciple you. Read Scripture Daily in context! That is Gods Voice That is His Will for you as the Believer! The Word is Jesus!

@@larhondathomas9500 You are incorrect. “It is actually reported that there is immorality among you, and immorality of such a kind as does not exist even among the Gentiles, that someone has his father’s wife. You have become arrogant and have not mourned instead, so that the one who had done this deed would be removed from your midst. For I, on my part, though absent in body but present in spirit, have already judged him who has so committed this, as though I were present. In the name of our Lord Jesus, when you are assembled, and I with you in spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus, I have decided to deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of his flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump of dough? Clean out the old leaven so that you may be a new lump, just as you are in fact unleavened. For Christ our Passover also has been sacrificed. Therefore let us celebrate the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. I wrote you in my letter not to associate with immoral people; I did not at all mean with the immoral people of this world, or with the covetous and swindlers, or with idolaters, for then you would have to go out of the world. But actually, I wrote to you not to associate with any so-called brother if he is an immoral person, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or a swindler-not even to eat with such a one. For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Do you not judge those who are within the church? But those who are outside, God judges. Remove the wicked man from among yourselves.”

This episode of this podcast was absolutely amazing and so confirming for me in my next path in my life. A friend of mine shared this with me as we are embarking on a healing journey, peace, and love journey in our own personal lives so I watched, I listened, I received, I accepted and I learned. But the part that moved me, the most was the very end Where you talked about your role as a foster to adoptive parent and wanting to help children in the foster care system especially those young black boys. It absolutely touched me because this is where my heart is right now and I’m praying and I’m asking God to guide me in this process as I begin the process of becoming a foster to adopt parent, mainly wanting to adopt young black men who are passed over due to their age, so I thank you. I asked God to bless you as you’re reaching out and helping these young black men and becoming affective in a community may God bless you in every area of your life, as well as those connected to you, especially the children..
