Thanks for a good review. I bought this one to go with my Ms. Pacman partycade. I chose it over the standard Pacman to have matching lighted marquees. It's a great looking machine, and still gives me Pacman, so it's a great match with the Ms. The partycades are wonderful, but $150 is probably the price point for them. (I paid $125 for Super and $150 for Ms.)
One little tip:
We made a "Pacman Party Table" by mounting our two units back-to-back with the included legs. Even more steady than just one! Found a steady table at the thrift store for about $8 and painted it yellow and gave it some LEDs.
Hey Bill, nice review. I always wanted the Costco Arcade 1up Super Pac-Man 3/4 cabinet but missed it. When HSN discounted this partycade, I just knew it had to be mine. Love the artwork and light up marquee (which does look much better from a distance) and most of the games are winners. Wish it had all unique games from the 10-in-1 Ms. Pac-Man (instead it shares four games - I especially don't need a repeat of Rompers on more than one cabinet). As you brought up, it makes no sense that you can't use the left side button on some of the games. Funny that the Costco 3/4 cabinet had a button issue but it had a reversed button layout for Galaga and Galaxian (and was fixed with a firmware update). Still a great cabinet for the price and really love this form factor. Thanks again for the review!
Nice review… It helped me realize that a few of the games are in portrait mode so you get big black bars on the top and bottom which is unfortunate. Also as you probably realized if you’ve ever tried to mount it on a door that it is somehow designed to be mounted extraordinarily low and there is very little adjustment to make it higher… not that big of a deal because I doubt very many people want to mount it on the door anyway. Great video keep up the good work !
I found this for just $80 locally near me on a marketplace app. Totally in love with Super Pac Man partycade. I originally only wanted it to play the original Pac-Man which is included, but found myself finding a new love for 'Super Pac Man' the marquee title which I had never played before. Discovered a new classic, it plays just like Pac-Man but gives you more to do with these objectives of finding the keys and new abilities. Tons of fun!

Great video! Buying these 3/4 scale arcade cabs is excellent for building a home arcade. I made my room an arcade.

I have the same one and I love it. I am bummed about the gun sound being so low in rolling thunder though. It was the reason I bought the cab
I have the super pac man countercade, it’s very similar to this one. In fact, looks just like it. I think I got mine for $100 and has the same games I believe 🙌 except rolling thunder. Great cab! I also have the ms pac man partycade as of last week and love it 😊 great review

I was glad to get this particular partycade of Super Pac-Man. Unlike the original Super Pac-Man arcade first Gen model, this partycade has three more games than the previous cabinet and I can play Super Pac-Man in this cabinet with the button setup just like the original arcade version. This machine is great but I only wish that it had Galaxian, Galaga and Galaga '88 or Pac-Man Plus instead of Mappy, Rolling Thunder and Rompers but it is fantastic nonetheless.

I bought this off of EBay. I paid 249 for it. I do agree with the buttons. I like to play with my right hand on the joystick and I can't do that with most of the games. I think it is a good cabinet and just recently put it up on my wall instead of the kitchen table. They should have the same layout of buttons on the left as they do on the right. Outside of that I think it is a very good machine.

Does anyone know if there is a way to turn off the light up marquee? It makes it really annoying to play in a dark room.
There isn't a built in way to do it. Your options would be a) open up the back and unplug the wire coming from the marquee to the pcb or b) splice in a switch between the pcb and the marquee so you can turn it off or on as you like. The first options pretty simple if you always want it off. But if you want the option to turn it off and on you'll have to know a little about modding and wiring to add a switch. It's not my expertise so not something I can help you with. But I think those would be the options.

Hi bill. Just picked one and loving PAC Man. lol. One thing I can’t figure out is how to get back to the main screen from a game in play or ended game. Very puzzling. So far I am shutting it off then back on. Any help and thanks in advance.
Hold the player 1 button for 5 seconds. That will return you to the main menu.

Bill, The version of Pac-Land here *DOES HAVE* Ms.Pac-man, thats how she look in the hanna barbera cartoon.
Could be. I was going off of footage I'd seen of the original version of pac-land compared to recent releases. I guess the coloring threw me as I thought in the original arcade her bow was red, not pink. But if that's the case, then I stand corrected!

Honest opinion: ITS PERFECT (super pac-man is one of my personal favorites and this looks soo cool plus its cheaper than the 3/4 sized cabinets)

Agreed. But there is a Galaga partycade that has some great games on it. If I find it at a decent price I'll probably pick that up as well.
Can you save the high scores in pac-man with Initials ?
No. It's exactly like the original arcade where it only saves 1 high score at a time and if you beat that it just replaces the old score with the new one.

Pacland is based off a cartoon look at the designs and jr pacman was never in pac land and the cartoon versions are used on orginal cabinet thats the orginal rom
