- Dodge Durango SRT Review. I get to drive this slightly modified 475 hp 6 passenger SUV. The owner put a JLT cold air intake, a after market sway bay, and a custom x pipe on this Durango. The SRT Durango was already fun enough in stock form but those few mods add to the fun. And again we do the "Eli test"

I just bought this very vehicle last month. I absolutely love it. It's a total blast to drive. The power it has is insane. It handles like a dream. Couldn't ask for anything more. Dodge nailed it with this one for sure.

So basically a fun luxurious SUV that a soccer mom/Dad can drive nice I'm impressed by this car. plus the "Eli Test" great idea😂😂😂
And it's not an abnormally large Tahoe. Those are too big and ugly
The biggest complaint I've heard from other reviewers has been the fuel economy. But, really, if you buy one of these, MPGs are not your top priority. I had one on my short list to replace my Charger 392 and the only thing that prevented me from pulling the trigger is the outdated infotainment center. If they threw the big 12 inch screen from the new Ram in there - SOLD! Even better, put the air ride from the new Ram in there too.
At that price point, the only thing that even comes close to comparing is the Tahoe RST. And that thing has 55 less hp and 200 more lbs. The AMG GLE 63 S has 100 more hp, but it's also almost twice as expensive and only 2 row. The BMW X5M has almost 100 more hp, and 3 rows, but starts at $100k.
Man if they put the 12-inch touch screen in these.. game changer.
MPG should be the last thing to worry about when buying a vehicle like this.
The tinted lights looks amzing
Do you need the muffler delete to get the upshift fart? Does the delete cause drone at cruising speed? Great driving review!
No the stock exhaust farts as well. But the muffler delete makes more enjoyable lol.
I'm thinking about getting a 392 charger.. could you do the Eli test on the trunk space?? Lol
N 3 those are beasts. I drove one of those and it made me want this cause I need the space

The wife and I are looking at getting one, I've read about water /moisture getting into the break lights, anyone have insight on it?
The Traveling Fisherman certainly sounds like something that would be covered under warranty
All cars should be rated in smile‘s per mile, and this one gets a high rating. You know, if you bought a black one and put a spotlight on the driver side I don’t think anybody would mess with you by the way, they do make a hellcat version, it’s called the Track Hawk.
The track hawk is only in the Jeep Grand Cherokee as far as I know. And the Jeep is not a three row SUV. I agree tho this Durango would rank VERY high on a smiles per mile test.
Correct, Track Hawks and Trail Hawks are only available in the grand Cherokees. That being said, that would be an amazing review on a track hawk.

i put 30000 miles on my srt d i love it wait till you have to replace the break pads at 1000$ at dodge ...
They look the same (or very similar) to the brembos on my charger. If so, you can do it yourself for a lot less and with very little technical know how. For the pads you literally pull two pins then slide them straight out. Slide news ones in, put clip in place, slide the two pins back, done. That easy.
