  • Mike Gurr reviews the Dodge Durango SRT. The SRT comes with a 6.4L Hemi, a specially adapted AWD system and Brembo brakes to get the job done. The Dodge Durango SRT also has performance pages inside the Uconnect system to customize the driving experience. With a "392" cubic inch engine, this is the baddest 7-passenger SUV outside of an AMG Mercedes.

A perfect review Mike! I rented the non-SRT version of this in Florida last year. Except mine has the ‘Stow-and-Go’ seats in the middle. I loved that feature. Oh wait! I am wrong ... it was a Grand Caravan! Thanks for the video.

I’m starting to get annoyed with all the reviewers that think they can judge what is cheap plastic. Get over it. Everything is plastic these day. Please be more objective and tell me what the vehicle does.

If you find a good dodge dealer, they'll offer a lifetime power train warranty for free and a lifetime bumper to bumper for about $2,500. Maybe not on an SRT, but i got it on my used RT.

Can someone tell me if all the control aids are off in SRT mode? I rented this car for a week while in Toronto and was too scared to take the driving aid of and left it in comfort and gotta say it understeered a lot, so I only ever pushed it in a straight line but backed off in corners. If it was sharper I would have attacked corners a lot more agressively but not at the cost of the car snapping under me and sending me off the highway for daring to try to attack at 90mph with no assist lol (which i typically do in the new mustang for example great fun). If aids are on even in SRT mode I would still rent it and drive it properly then. Any info welcome thanks.

Old comment I know, but to answer you, yes they can. I just did it a few min ago. Took off lane assist, forward collision and forward/rear radar. I also drive with ACC 0n with the same shit turned off. Hope that helps you 3 years later.

Good review, but come on, i own two older model vehicle's and neither one is equipped with radar guided cruise control. There are some many moronic driver assistant aids on today's auto's, it's crazy. How about learning how to drive without playing with cell phones at the same time.

There is a rumor that 1 of the 2 might be renamed and they could be on a Maserati platform and so far the only major engine changes is possibly a twin turbo V6 with 400 hp which is in the Maserati Quattroporte but nothing solid to back those claims major changes wont occure to the whole lineup until the 2021 models and Dodge could also be down to only 3 models there is talk the Durango's days are numbered.
