It's all engine, no supercharger or turbo. Dodge just puts the biggest engine in it like an old school muscle(suv)car. It sounds great and I like how it the back squats down when you mash the throttle.

harrismi7 ... Ahhh, yeah OLD is definitely Dodge. LOL I mean getting 5 mpg is a sin. Smaller displacement with a turbo or sc is SMARTer way to do business...IMHO.
biz4two biz4 True but with the market being so oversaturated with cars like that Dodge is attempting to be a stand out with crazy HP and big displacement. It's an alternative way to attract and do business
It is, but Dodge (as part of FCA) can't afford the R&D so they put older style engines in. That's why they don't even bother selling them in many countries.
YES, I certainly agree. But, they are also attracting the OLD type person. IMHO...most younger type people want LOTS of power hp and torque, but in a small engine. So, Dodge is also missing an entire demographic in potential sales.

I seriously wish the Chief Designers of all the major car brands watches your videos because there is a lot they can learn from you guys and thus hopefully change for the next refresh... the small things you notice which some manufactures constantly overlook... like the usage of piano black trims on high traffic areas, the lack of physical knobs/switches for volume/tuning and climate controls, etc.... you guys are smart and entertaining... simply brilliant!

My family just recently bought this car.. We went from a RT Durango to a SRT Durango.. it's a huge difference, the AWD makes it pick up with ease, the 500 HP engine makes it quick and fast, and mixed in with the AWD you can even beat the Challenger Scatpack (If the driver is good enough)
This car is just amazing, the interior or also great. The SRT Race seats, as well as the steering wheel, the amazing sound in the car and also the new hud on the computer!
Overall, dodge did AMAZING on this car, and definitely is worth its price... REALLY, worth its price.

May only get 12 miles to the gallon but thats similar to a heavy duty pickup and its FASTER THAN HELL so its worth it in my book
The Durango superseded the Jeep Commander back in 2010 as the seven seater for the company. My Commander is an '06 with the 5.7 and it's already brutal. Can't imagine how savage these things are now...

Yep, that's for US gallons. For Canadian (Imperial) it's 13.45. I do this because I like to refer to my previous Tahoe which always got 16MPG imperial city, highway and everything else. It ALWAYS got 16!
Yeah that’s about what my Charger got. Hauls ass past everything except the gas station.

Just like that Sierra Denali (so, 6.0/AWD) I drove for a few months many years back when. No matter what, 14mpg. Easy on it, hard on it, loaded up, unloaded, highway, city, whatever... 14.
Sometimes 14.5 and then you can almost tell people it gets "mid teens" and not be lying

Definitely the perfect car for a young dad hauling 3 kids around...like myself 🤦♂️. I went with the 2017 Durango citadel and this later came out...needless to say I was pissed lol. Love the channel!

Thats funny when he asked what happened to your arm today i instantly knew you scraped your arm on the taillights. Ive done that on my RT but my now SRT i havent ive learned from my first couple incidences. Great Video you two are funny and made my day on my Durango.
My friend has a 15’ charger R/T straight piped and omggg the upshift noise is incredible. That 8 speed is stupid fast too, the upshift is really really aggressive out of first and second. The sound is absolutely incredible and the engine is relentless and resists the beating he gives it everyday.
Been meaning to do a visor test in my car but kept forgetting until I needed some shade on the side the other day and she passed! IMO, I feel that this is the closet thing we will get to an new-age SRT wagon (R.I.P. Magnum), but I would LOVE to see a Magnum reboot with Charger Hellcat styling cues. Wouldn't you?
Furthermore, if we are patient and lucky enough, there could be a Trackhawk/Hellcat equivalent of the SRT Durango in the near future, from allied sources. Keep your eyes peered.
I wonder what Chevy/Ford and others would/could produce in response to the SRT Durango, because FCA is winning and I'm attracted to winners. Time to step up the game, competition. Do it before we all have to go 100% EV.

We just gotten a Durango (15) but the base model SXT. But it's a big upgrade from the Windstar 😬. We are blessed to get it especially how are financially wise. But damn I wish I could get this for my mother. That's her dream trim model.

Fun vid, well done, bro's. I have a '16 R/T Durango. Probably the best all-round vehicle I've ever had. You hardly ever use all three rows, but the options, power train, quality, looks, and reliability make it my go-to machine. It's my second Durango and my next car will probably also be a Durango. Am not a fan-boy, they're just great vehicles. Keep the awesome and fun vids coming.

I like that when they brought out the the Durango SRT they gave it a distinctive grill, but they gave the same grill to the R/T right after, I wish that grill was exclusive to the SRT.

Would like to mention my Bruiser Grey SRT Durango also has a deadly “Drag Mode”-perfect for he drive through.
That’s impressive, used to have an r 63 and this looks similar to it in terms of performance and size and sound
I am honestly surprised that the Dodge Durango in any variant aren't selling more per month. This car is a solid choice and exceeds the Toyota Highlander and so many others.

Again, my favorite review duo! It's like if the Sonic guys were actually cool (and not so weird!) Their chemistry is just inspiring. They don't talk over each other, there's no ego monger-sidekick dynamic. They are just two really good guys, who love cars, can clearly articulate their depth of knowledge ALL without having to be disrespectful and talk s*** on other makes. Good humans.
