We were liars is such a good book. There is a MASSIVE amount of foreshadowing that u didn't catch up on until the last page of the book. The end is so so so good. I went back and re read it after knowing the ending. Its so mysterious

Awww I'm watching this after you've already written a few drafts of your book and I'm just thinking about how you just went for it and decided to make your book a real thing and I'm just so proud of you and it's like whenever you're talking about something you wish was done differently, that's part of why you're writing your contemporary boon today, and maybe I'm just seeing patterns where's there's nothing there but it always makes me nostalgic to watch old Christine

Normally, contemporary books don't really appeal to me, (I'm always a slut for fantasy.) but I actually have read "We Were Liars" and I did enjoy it. One contemporary book that I do absolutely love is "The Perks of Being a Wallflower." I have read others in the past, but I can't recall any that I really loved, I would like to try to expand my reading interests and read more contemporary books in the future.
If you're looking for a good contemporary, I'd recommend Winger by Andrew smith.
I'VE BEEN HAVING A CRISIS. Okay, so I am a massive Percy Jackson and the Olympians/Heroes of Olympus fan. I read House of Hades as soon as it came out, of course. Now that we're past the halfway point until Blood of Olympus comes out, I'VE BEEN LOSING MY MIND (somewhat). I literally reread the Lost Hero because I'm desperate for more Leo adorable-ness. I also know exactly how many days until BoO (109, as of now) comes out. My friends who also read the books have skype calls often where we discuss HoH and theorize what we think will happen in BoO. I'm even encouraging (some might refer to it as forcing) my 11 year old brother to read PJO (he's on the Battle of the Labyrinth now). Anyway, in attempt to get over my House of Hades book hangover I decided to read We Were Liars because it's the booksplosion book of the month and it sounded pretty awesome. Plus I read Rebel Belle for booksplosion and loved it so I figured I'd love We Were Liars also. I read the whole book in one afternoon and LOVED it. The ending was so gsbgriubgturongvjfgbguih. So now I have somewhat of a book hangover from We Were Liars as well as the remnants of my HoH book hangover. Today I started Since You've Been Gone and I'm hoping it's a little bit more lighthearted than HoH and We Were Liars. Wow this comment was long and rambly. Haha, thanks for these book recommendations, Christine! I think I need to pick myself up some Stephanie Perkins ;)

I totally understand!!! Sometimes I go into fits of crying because I don't want it to end oops. I have been sporadically reading some of the PJO books. I suggest getting the graphic novels so that you can fly through them and they are almost as satisfying!
Re-reading the hole percy series and im up to mark of athena..........I need to slow down ....alot or else.....I will have to start again to bridge the gap

And I've reread Twilight so, so many times too. There have been times MOSTLY before BookTube (because lets be honest I have an unending TBR pile now..) but I used to run out of books to read so sometimes I would just pick up Twilight and reread the first few chapters until I find my next read. I've reread the whole book an embarrassing amount of times.. but I seriously can't tell you how many times I just STARTED it.. just to read the first few chapters for a little while. Maybe I'm crazy. But just like you it holds such a special place in my heart...

You should give the Lorien Legacies series a go! They're not similar to TMI, but they're quite epic. pls don't base them of the movie of the first book...

If you are in the mood for books that are more sci fi with huge social and moral implications, then I suggest the Unwind Dystology by Neal Shusterman. The last book in the series, UnDivided, will be released in October 2014. Very good series and disturbing as well. Can't go wrong with the Percy Jackson series or the Kane Chronicles by Rick Riordian.
