@@PicosPaul1979 Registration date is irrelevant. It's got nothing to do with the production year of the bike. The fairings is K1 as well, so as long as those are the original one's then that says it as well.

Mine started fine it had an issue with the butterfly valve on the exhaust. You should have a bypass plug under your rear seat remove the cover and use a pice of electrical wire put it in the plug both ends (crossing the plug dont be scared nothing will burn out or break) then switch on ignistion and your clocks whould give you the exact FI code that you need to sort e.g. F4, F5, F8 etc. good luck
@@simonruffles4707 ha no way i sold it to my cousin, how long you had it for? that bike used to belong to the late dave short that was killed by dale cregan in clayton then the bike sat idle in my mates front living room for over 4 years till i got hold of it and got it back on the road
PicosPaul I got it in June 2018. I swapped it for a Honda ST1100 with a guy from Cornwall . I’ve had the wheels powder coated, replaced the front mudguard, rear seat cowl and fairing v-piece. Also discovered the starter clutch cover had been crudely repaired at some point and was leaking oil so replaced that ! Still got more to do but for the minute I’m just enjoying riding it - it’s a beast compared to my old Honda 😂😂
simon ruffles it was a immaculate when I had it. So it lived near Manchester City centre all those years when I sold it. It went to Blackpool then ended up in Cornwall. The downside to super sports people can’t handle them so they get passed around a lot. I only sold it as the insurance was insane :( I hope your enjoying it as I did
Wow your bike sounds like shit and looks super nice. I have same year bike and model and mine looks like shit because it’s dusty but starts and sounds way better.Suzukis are bad ass i had mine sitting for 5 years just with a tarp over it and before I started it all i did was change oil put new battery and clean gas and sone bitch started on the first start. Suzukis are the best..
K1 means 2001 and K2 is 2002, which is why it cannot be both. This bike is a K1 only.
it was an early registered 2002 but logbook showed it to be a K1....
