      You may have two sets of injectors on your bike. One set that’s primarily used for regular driving and another that helps with top end. My guess would be that you have a fueling issue with one injector not working correctly. This wouldn’t throw a misfire code under regular driving but would on higher rpm/Harding riding.

    Please post the update video! I have a 2007 GSX-R600 and have that exact F1 light; C28. I have been looking for a fix but there’s not much info on it besides remove the secondary throttle valve and the actuator and then install some device that ignores not having the 2nd throttle body? Other solutions I’ve found is to get a used actuator (apparently sketchy; sometimes they just will flash the same code) or a new one; but the only way to get a new actuator is to buy a whole new 2nd throttle body OEM? Seems crazy to me.

    I wish I would have looked into this before bringing mine into the shop. I have the same year 750. Mine had a solid FI light that alternated with engine temp in the LCD, like yours. The mechanic said he got a C00 code. Does that mean he didn’t put it into dealer mode correctly? I assumed it was the exhaust valve because of the exhaust swap. He’s telling me it’s the fuel injectors.. so we argued about what FI stood for (fuel injector vs fault indicator). Which apparently is either, depending. It’s FI btw not F1. Cheers for your video.

    • @tunerstrouble772
      @tunerstrouble772  2 года назад +2

      F1 is the common term most people use that’s why I labeled it that way. C00 is a no issues code. Due to the fact he got a C00 code that means he did put it in dealer mode. If you were having fuel injector issues you would get a different code. I personally forgot to ground my power commander once (which means none of my fuel injectors were working) so I know for a fact you’ll throw a code. If you have an 07 you either have an intermittent F1 light which is probably why you didn’t pull a code when it was checked, or you mechanic was giving you some bs to charge additional diagnostic hours. If you still have a F1 light on, I personally would check the code yourself first and see what it gives you. After that drop a comment with the code!

    • @jaydenriley2875
      @jaydenriley2875 2 года назад

      @@tunerstrouble772 Not sure I’ll have the chance as the bike is still in the shop (for this and other things) and I’m expecting to get it back with the FI light off. Missed opportunity. But ya, I have read in the forums of guys hitting the kill switch and resetting while in dealer mode which resets the ECU(?) and would give that C00 code instead of the true code. Why is there even a C00 to say no error? Lol.

    • @tunerstrouble772
      @tunerstrouble772  2 года назад +1

      The C00 code is just there basically to say your ECU isn’t seeing any issues. You didn’t happen to hear a clicking noise from your stva? You would hear it at start up at the same time the fuel pump is priming. That’s a common issues that won’t always throw a code.

    • @jaydenriley2875
      @jaydenriley2875 2 года назад

      @@tunerstrouble772 there is a brief single click, if I remember correctly. But I think that’s the fuel pump engaging or something electronic. Looking at videos of the svta clicking noise, which is like a 4-5 clicks in quick succession, was not happening thankfully.

      Sorry for the late reply! It’s hard to say what the issue is honestly. If it’s randomly blinking but your in a good temp range, I’d check all the wiring you touched. By that I mean everything you unplugged doing the swap/install. Check every plug and make sure it’s fully connected and there’s nothing potentially causing a short. If everything looks Good I’d start looking into the temp sensor. If you hit higher rpms in your lower gears then vibration could be causing a short/open.

      Also if it is SD maybe it’s a steering dampener. Do you have an electronically controlled steering dampener? I would also recommend getting a cheap multimeter if you don’t have one. Start the bike and verify voltage. If you can have it sit and idle for 15 min and don’t see a drop in voltage typically this means your battery/charging system are functioning.
