Badr stomping remy, groenhart attacking grigorian, saddik punching a downed rico, abena jabbing the groin of masloboev and then attacking with a headkick when masloboev turns away. I know protect yourself at all Times, but most other fighters still dont do cheap shots like that. Because its also about sportsmanship. Too bad.
Idk if this is fair to judge mikes gym on this. Groenhart was completly legal, saddik actually already did it before to gerges and he only trains for a few months/weeks at mikes. This one was also completly legal in my opinion or the refs fault.. but its true that mikes has a certain reputation and that attracts certain people.. these are killers that put result over method, so you shouldnt give them the opportunity to use it

i just dont see how Sergej won that last round they had the same output but in my opinion Abena was countering and landing cleaner i guess pressure trumps those two things in glory bc that the only explanation to how Sergej won the third round was him coming forward and putting pressure but in my opinion countering and landing clean should trump pressure but again that's just my opinion by no means am i an expert just a big fan of everything to do with fighting

When he fought Tavares in Glory, on the judges score cards they had him winning the first two rounds. Doesn’t matter if some fans felt Tavares won the fight overall, because by default Abena won on the judges’ scorecards for 2 out of 3 rounds. The win should’ve been for him. And here with Maslobojev, it was a close fight but in my opinion Abena had a slight edge. Hopefully Abena can bounce back and get the W for his next fight.

Which means: even if Tavares won the 3rd round, the judges gave Abena two rounds and Tavares only one. How in the hell could Tavares have won based off of that alone? And this fight with Maslobojev wasn’t convincing but he still edged out the fight, imo. But that’s all subjective. His fight with Vakhitov is undeniable though. Vakhitov is one of my favorite fighters but in no way, shape, or form did he beat Abena.

Abena has potential to be a bigger star in my opinion but he needs to improve more. But Tavares vs Vakhitov will be a good fight. Maslobojev vs Tavares would be good too.
