  • 26-year-old Ben Whittaker has earned plenty of attention for his style of fighting over his first seven pro fights, following a silver medal win at the Tokyo Olympics, but while he has criticisms - which are shared by many Whittaker is a legitimate talent.

A bit like an RJJ style but he seems too tall to pull that off. Also RJJ only had to hit you once all the way up to super middle to win the fight... But this man does seem to have some power too. Good video, thanks! With so few fights the skill and timing is amazing . look at AJ´s early fights or anyone really, they look a lot less composed than this man. Hope he´s got a chin too, at some point he´ll need it.

People saying he needs to step up in the competition is a bit off.... He doesn't have to prove he's the best in the world, he's just proving that he's the best in his current division, and through his show boating performance, he's bringing a LOT of attention to a division of boxing that most people never heard off. But more important.., the man looks like he's genuinely having the time of his life and getting paid a ton for doing it.

The only thing which killed Nassems career was a dint in his pride after not taking a Barrera seriously. Show boating doesn’t work when you got a champion who blitzed multiple world champions. Oscar dela Hoya I watch in golden gloves to rise through multiple weight divisions to champion 6 weights. He didn’t fair to well against Barrera either and he was one of my all time favourites.
