I can never get tired of watching the original fight, that triple jab in the first round set the tone of the fight, he got taught a boxing master class
His response to losing shows what a wimp he actually was. As a boxers it was wonderful to watch such beautiful form, foot work and strategy against a predictable arrogant immature opponent. Pure class act
He was a twat, but he was no wimp. Anyone who gets in a boxing ring is tough -- one shot with some bad luck is enough to kill someone. He knew his veil of invincibility was shattered and he wouldn't be able to win the rematch.
@@Xyz19781i He retired because he knew if he couldn't bear Barrera, he wouldn't be able to beat Morales, Marquez, Mayweather, or Pac. They were all coming up through his weight class.
It was great to watch his arrogance and nastiness being dismantled in the ring in such a spectacular way. He deserved what he got and Barrera outclassed him in the ring and outside. Its no wonder this fight ended his career and he refused to face Barrera again.
Hamed was little more than a cocky, arrogant little prick who rode around on mommie and daddy's coat tails. He had the best of everything, including special priveledges that were not available to others, hince his brash attitude that was apparently approved of by his parents. Nothing more than a typical spoiled rich brat who got his way with everything. He got just what he deserved and needed a long time ago-------a good ass whipping!!! Thank You Mr. Barrera!!! ......-
Spot on mate. I liked Naseem but he was way to cocky and it was only a matter of time before someone brought him down off his high horse and humbled him. Unfortunately for Naseem he thought barerra was going to fall for his rubbish; he thought wrong.
Hamed relied on fighters coming forward with tight high guards which gave him plenty of opportunities to counter and use his athleticism. Barrera stayed just on the edge of range putting Hamed in a position he wasn’t used to. Barrera became the counter-puncher with Hamed increasingly becoming more desperate as he realised not only that he was losing the fight but that he was going to have to create his own openings. This was new to him and he wasn’t able to adjust. A great fighter but Barrera showed he was greater.
Daddy said that the reason Hamed retired is because Marco exposed and gave every single boxer the way to beat Hamed Marco could do it all man could box slug amazing chin amazing endurance Marco was an intelligent fighter man and Hamed had no choice but to retire Marco took Hameds soul.
I remember this fight. Naseem has won so many fights on the strength of his pure speed and athleticism. But he was such a heel that it was so satisfying to watch his comeuppance from such a skilled and meticulous boxer. Barrera's footwork, ferocity and tactics carried the day.
He fought bunch of nobodies in Europe, once he came to America he wasn't ready for Elite fighters, after his firs loss, Barrera was ready to give him a rematch in London and he never wanted to sign the rematch.
@Wasn't Me yes everyone loses to some one and thats the whole point so if naseem lost to a good fighter there is nothing wrong with that and same goes for barera, if he lost to a good fighter than whats the big deal. By the way Naseem is a he and not a she, your facts are fictions.
Hamed was one of those boxers you loved to hate. He was beyond arrogant but he consistently backed it up. His loose almost street fight style was brutally effective. I remember watching this fight and seeing the look on Hamed's face when he realized he was in trouble pretty early on was amazing. He wasn't just beaten in the ring, this one broke his spirit.
Effective yes, brutal no. He was blessed to be able to move like a rubber band. He wasn’t throwing devastating blows though. Like Floyd Jr they tire their opponents out with defensive tactics. Much easier to knock out a tired man.
@@SofaKingShit not really he was forced to retire because he sustained heavy hand injuries, even before his fight he had underwent surgery if you did an iota of research youd realise Naseem went into the match unfit coz he didnt train alot for it
A tactical masterpiece from Barrera topped off with his absolute refusal to give Hamed a single inch in ground and in the mind games. Awesome to watch.
@Zero accountability.Tactics Barrera had were made even easier when Naseems best had gone and it showed in that fight.Pity he still couldnt stop him, even when a DQ foul on him by Barrera in the last round happened and all nutjob ref did was give a point off him.The point of doing even that was what, i dont know

@ MuShin Yeah Barrera was so sharp in this fight. So dialled in both physically and mentally. Personally I think it says a huge amount about a boxer who can come back from defeats even better. Never liked Hamed and I’m British. He was good but one defeat and he quit.
Yes, even if he was planning retirement. he should have tried to hold out and promote his rematch by himself, and taken home 100 mllion! THEN retire!!! Bad judgment, for ego

NOT A CHANCE!!! Naseem was very very elusive and hard to hit! There's a massive difference between a journeyman fighter with a 16-11 record, vs Hammed, who never hardly got hit ever! I don't buy your excuse for him one bit! Guy was all identity and had no heart! When he finally lost for "Mohamed," (said on his shorts), HE REFUSED A REMATCH!! NOT A CHAMPION in my book! Second he faced adversity, he ran!! Just an opportunist with an egg shell ego
@@brianchristopher4666 Seems a very strange dispute you two are having. However it's a fact he was taking a lot of punishment in his later fights, and a rematch against Barrera would most assuredly have have been a lot more damage, to both his brain and ego. If you're worth tens of millions, and have already taken a large number of blows to the head, why take that fight ?
@@inlikearefugee5194 Yep that's true, first: because he never fought a real pro before... second: because he didn't fight again, after being defeated by Barrera.
Barrera fought one of the most intelligent fights ever. He knew his opponent intimately and refused to open himself up in any way to Hamed's biggest weapons. He was incredibly well prepared. He fought behind his jab and never threw any wild shots that Hamed could counter with his speed and reflexes. By comparison Hamed didn't prepare adequately, he neglected his road work, his stamina wasn't what it should have been, he didn't have the team behind him that made him what he was (Brendan Ingle specifically) and he simply did not take Barrera seriously enough. Barrera is the real thing. Hamed had almost every gift that a boxer could possess - but he didn't have resilience. After this fight Hamed was broken and he never came back. One more fight (in which he was awful) and then he retired.
@Don juan Oh no - I couldn't disagree more. Naseem Hamed was not a fighter that I liked - he was arrogant and conceited, and genuinely not a nice person, but he was dangerous. You just need to look at some of the excellent fighters that he fought and his punching power alone was a serious threat. He had incredible reflexes and an unorthodox style that lots of people struggled with. He could move in and out of right and left handed stances, he could fight straight on, his power was in both hands. A lot of people got baited into trying to knock him out and he thrived on that because he was a very effective counter puncher and his huge power could end a fight very quickly even if he was behind. Barrera had the discipline to respect that and fought a very tight, disciplined contest that didn't allow Naseem to get off at all. Naseem underestimated Barrera by comparison and he got absolutely everything that he deserved. Don't get me wrong I will always rate and praise Barrera above Hamed - but to suggest that Hamed was a cake-way is wrong - he was a dangerous fighter and Barrera knew that.
@Don juan Come on - Augie Sanchez, Kevin Kelley, Manuel Medina, Tom Johnson were all fights with Americans. Power with speed knocks people out irrespective of race. I absolutely agree - the Mexicans produce fierce fighters (some with granite chins) - but anyone who doesn't respect the power and speed that Hamed had doesn't know boxing. He was banging against middle weights in sparing. I'm really sorry - I'm not doubting or disagreeing that Barrera was a superior fighter (I really have Barrera as one of my personal favourites of all time) - but suggesting that Hamed posed no threat is silly talk. It also detracts from a really outstanding victory.
@@GamingDualities Not that type of physical resilience - there's no doubting that he took the beating - I mean his heart and his ability to respond in his career, learn from it and come back. He was broken. He was done.
Beware the veteran in a young man's game. Barrera was as sound as they come. Didn't need flash or pomp, just solid skill and guts. One of the fastest left hooks ever.
In the words of Angelo Dundee, “Some guys beat some guys”. Barrera was indeed a veteran of the ring who studied his opponents & learned from his mistakes. He had Naseem’s number from the opening round. Throughout his career, Naseem had made up for his sloppy style & lack of professionalism with his natural attributes, speed & reflexes. Barrera prepared well, taking advantage of Naseem’s aggressive style with masterful counterpunching. He clearly deserved the win while Naseem, just as clearly, deserved the loss.
He sure did he beat his ass like "I see you and I got you" and then he showed him who's the new ceo he didn't get beat up enough he was not 🤕🤕 Barrera was a genius in his own right he fought extremely hard fair and honest throughout his career Marco Antonio Barrera I'm glad you made it in big

Imagine if the prince had the character and respect for his opponents as say Julia Cesar Javez or even Borrea. Even Floyd shows more respect for the sport and opponents then prince. Prince's movements and reflexes should of resulted him being arguably the greatest ever.
@@Bee-hf3fc nah you cant say that, theres been guys like floyd mayweather and sugar ray leonard and others that have given the game the respect its due hamed was incapable of that but credit wheres its due he made his mark and made plenty of money but nowhere near the greatest ever, i think he knew his time was up, i also think if a fighter like hamed knows his opponent can take his punches, the heart just leaves him, mexicans are solid, hard as fuck and can take a punch

As a Brit, I enjoyed watching this. Total respect for Barrera, a gutsy, smart fighter. For all the criticism of Nazeem, he took some punishment like the left hook that lifted him off his feet and kept going. But Barrera was like an unstoppable machine. Respect.

Naseem Hamed was undoubtedly gifted, but suffered from an overdose of hubris. Never underestimate a class fighter, as nothing is surer to get him determined to sort you out.
Hamed was probably just fortunate to be in a time when his weight class wasn't taken that seriously. He was just the good one out of inferior stock. Mayweather or Pacquiao would have murdered him in the ring.
@@RM-fb6sj I'm sorry but they aren't even worth bringing up when we're comparing them to mayweather and pacquiao. Oliver is right.. Nass was only relevant because his weight class was as trash as his fundamentals.
In previous fights Hamed could count on his amazing reflexes and fast hands to compensate for his frequent technical sloppiness. In Barrera he encountered a very well-rounded boxer who was near technically perfect who, although not as fast as Hamed, made very few mistakes and had the patience to figure out Hamed's typical movements. A great fight.
To add to this, I remember watching this fight at the time & my impression of it was that Hamed was a cocky wee shite who had never come across anyone who could match his speed. He used to fight hands down at his side & taunt all opponents. Barrera was equally quick & it was over in the first round IMHO. Notice Hamed's gloves were up after getting hit... Something you never saw before as he wasn't used to defending.
@@somedonny8466 // Lets not forget; the wind was blowing, Hamed had a runny nose, a bit of a sniffle and possibly a hangnail too. Isn't it possible that Barrera simply beat Hamed by fighting a better fight-the very thing that makes a fighter look like he's underachieving during a fight? C'mon man.
he was a manipulitive dirty fighter. He ducked behind the ref after he got clocked a few times, he cheated with the retape crap at the beginning. No respect for the clown.
I have to give you kudos for your concise breakdown of that fight. I still remember watching that fight. You could see the tide just turn against Naseem from round 1. Great memories from a great era of boxing.
It was epic back in the day... Prince 🤴 was looking like a smooth sailing boat ⛵ in all of his fights until this fight 👊🥊 and he was in rough seas 🌊 and the boat 🚢 was getting rocked.. and in his mind he would have been singing "don't rock the boat "🎼🎵
I remember my father coming home that day, Transformers toy in his right and bunch of stuff for my mum at his left. Turns out he won the bet against his co-workers 4 to 1 favor of Naseem, my father was a fan of the Baby-Faced Assassin and took them all on. He's still telling that story as of this day.
I always remember my dad saying how he was telling everyone at the pub Barrera was going to finish Hamed. No one believed him until it happened! Barrera was so great
I saw it live. What I most remember is Hamed's eyes when he was pretendeding to not be stunned by Barrera's hooks. No one bought it. We knew it was killing him. It was a beautiful thing to watch.
its easy to say when you've never been in the ring, I haven't but plenty of street fights, you've got to give respect to anyone that does, without a doubt, all it takes is a spit second lapse in consertration and its good night nurse, good idea to keep your guard up and not be cocky though.
What I'm seeing that barely ever gets mentioned is how many body shots Barrera sent. Naseem was so elusive because nobody ever went for his core. But Barrera did. The counterattack strategy, it's a good one, but others have tried that before Barrera and failed. What made it effective was to not always try to go for the head, but to lessen his mobility by going for the core. For those who are unaware, the core is not called that for no reason. It is essential to pretty much any physical activity, to various degrees. In this case, throwing punches, enabling leg work, but in the case of Naseem, moving the upper body like it really shouldn't be permitted. He has gotten away with it a lot more than he should have, but people never really punished him for it, so good on him. Once you start going at it, moving the upper body becomes less effective, more painful, slower, suddenly the head becomes heavy to move around, suddenly punches are incoming way faster, you don't know why… It's basically the same dynamic that makes low kicks in kickboxing/muay thai/mma so effective : get the legs, the core becomes more vulnerable, the head becomes more vulnerable, get the legs and/or the core, the head becomes more vulnerable.
Interesring. Fighters in general pay too little attention to body blows. They absolutely suck the life and energy out of a fighter. And there are usually frequent chances while they protect their head. If a fighter throws a big hook and misses the other guy has a couple milliseconds to slip in a body punch when the gut muscles are slack. Knock the wind out of them they never really get it back. Mixed martial arts fights are wrecking the art of boxing.
Your detail in the breakdown made this well worth revisiting. Naseem just didn't know how to deal with that loss. Outclassed by an honest, no nonsense strategy, his showboating and antics brought him payback at a pivotal point in his career. Naseem couldn't be the same man after this fight. Naseem was world class but fragile. Barrera was unstoppable this time.
@@mixedmartialanarchist6469 against a nobody, declining his contractual rematch clause with barerra....his last fight was a cynical sham just to end his career & record with a win.
Hamed was not world class, but, at best a fringe contender. He plateaued at domestic/european level. His first fight in his plan to dominate america was against a faded kevin kelly & that didn't quite go as planned. His team, promotor & himself cherry picked barrera because they thought he was way past his best & on the slide.......they espected hamed to walk through barerra much sooner & more emphatically than junior jones did & as barrera would be having his first fight at the weight, they never even considered a possibility that Barrera could offer any resistance. I don't believe hamed was fragile, he took big shots from barrera & managed the distance....the knockdowns in the kelly fight were flash knockdowns from accurate punches that caught hamed off balance. hamed was pious & deluded...genuinely believing that his god was on his side and therefore invincible. he should have had the humility and courage worthy of a champion and took the rematch....win, lose or draw....he would have earned respect.
Barrera (baby face assassin) was my favorite boxer. He was humble and willing to learn from his mistakes. He was never afraid of standing up to fight so all his bouts were really good. Even when he lost he did so while fighting hard not by running around the ring.
There are certain fighters that some of us enjoy getting beat, particularly the arrogant ones. Hamed is one of the most arrogant. The only thing better in this fight would have been to see Hamed get knocked out.
To trobin i understand your sentiment but he was that arrogant and still is to this day that he will take some false pride in the fact that as a pro boxer that he never got knocked out ...... he is that far up his own arse.......now a days he is a walking advertisement for slim fast...... that and the fact he is just a ufcking prick
Hamed didn’t have a plan B. Once his style was worked out he was clueless. After a defeat, true champions go away, regroup and come back with an adjusted fight plan and have a rematch. Hamed only new one way and when it no longer worked he retired
I kind of had that notion as well. The fact that other quality fighters would pick up on this and perhaps use it against Hamed. Barrera did his homework, studied his opponent and worked the plan. Great champions indeed make adjustments during the fight. This was a fight that Hamed not only lost on a physical level, but also on a mental level as well.
@@generatorx It's more than that. Kevin Kelly was ultimately the first boxer to expose Hamed's weakness. Although Kelly was KOed, he floored Hamed 3 times during the 4 round fight. People weren't going to pay money to watch Hamed fight journeymen & low level opposition. Hamed HAD to step up in class and once he did, there weren't going to be anymore easy fights. Had he continued boxing after the loss to Barrera, he would've had to face guys like Eric Morales, Juan Manuel Márquez, & potentially Floyd Mayweather. (a super featherweight at the time) I don't see Hamed beating any of them.
@@Jim_Jones_Guyana Agreed, especially if his weakness is exposed and better fighters get wind of it. Can't imagine Hamed dropping his hands and sticking his face out to Mayweather.
Really great play by play review. I've seen this fight a number of times, so I almost didn't watch this, but the breakdown here was superbly meticulous and well worth it.
Thank you for showing this fight in real depth. It just goes to show how true discipline will triumph over showboating anytime... Keep up the good work...!
My second ever bet, my first was on Kevin Kelley, a coach and mentor at my gym. Kevin showed Naseem could be hurt and I knew. Had no doubt that all his showboating and shit talking ego would get frazzled the second he realized he couldn't bully or psyche out Barrera with his antics. At the time that $1750 was the biggest and sweetest surprise of my life
Kelley, had the blueprint he just got careless. Exited out on a straight line and got caught by a fighter who needs his opponents to move in straight lines.
Barrera said it himself back in a interview when asked why didn’t he follow up for a ko?? He responded that nasem had that one punch ko power he had to be careful and not get careless. Still whooped his ass for 12 rounds though!

Prince said the first time he loses he is done and thats what happen but he said that in the beginning of his career so he stuck to his word...props to both great fighters Prince was a sight to see and Barrera had a HOF career himself so it was a great time in boxing back then
Amazing work from Barrera. Hamed's strange sideways 'karate' southpaw pose puzzled many, but Barrera and his corner saw it made Hamed vulnarable to those circling jabs, which put Barrera miles away from Hamed's power left. This seems to have limited Hamed's counterpunching opportunities greatly. Barrera was practically getting behind him. Credit also to Barrera's ability to keep his range and pick his moment. Hamed's taunts had neither of the intended effects: no blind aggression from Barrera, and neither was he demoralized by the "floppy fish" showboating weaves. Barrera kept throwing combinaions, which seemed to be another weakness of Hamed's style, where getting caught looks to have meant being off balance with his hands down. I think Hamed played up his evasion to demoralize the opponent until they would throw single strikes, miss, and become afraid of commiting enough to be effective. You can see Barrera instead connecting regularly, and actually waving Hamed to come on. No wonder the guy retired.
@Jason Voorhees he would have eaten him crushed him up and then spat out the bones Hamed was talented and entertaining, but when he fought a truly top ranked opponent he got found out I mean I did hear he had problems with his hands but how true that is I don't know, if that was the case he should have retired instead of fought Barrera
@Jason Voorhees it's rare for a coward to get in the ring Plus he took that beating from Barrera I don't like the dude never did but IMO he's not a coward
Don’t ever underestimate someone that you don’t know anything about. Barrera was a serious killing machine straight from the heart of Mexico City with no stops down the way his punches very clean boxing skills loved this 🥊
@Graf von Losinj I agree, it was beautiful to see him get the arrogance knocked out of him, but he was a showman for the crowd and he lost like a champ here too. No excuses made.
When cocky fighters get clipped it’s always satisfying to see. The cocky little prince threatened a reporter few years ago on uk tv, didn’t go down well…😒

Two great fighters. Hamed widely disliked and even hated for his demeanour, Barrera widely liked and more of a class act. Yes, Hamed was expected to win by most people's reckoning. But those in the know knew... It came down to who Barrara had fought - he'd beaten a whole swathe of elite class fighters that were above the level of Hamed's opponents. It was a thrilling fight to watch as it happened. But I was a massive Barrera fan and absolutely delighted at his destruction of a man who presented himself as a horrible human being. Great video - Enjoyed watching this - thank you.
Hamed in the 90's in the UK was idolised and in some ways rightly so. He never quite got to the heights of Frank Bruno for public fanfare but to others he was hugely admired. Sadly by the time he got to finally fight someone like Barrera he had millions in the bank and no longer needed to fight. The old saying about it being hard to get up and run at 5am when you sleep in silk Pyjamas rings true!

Love this fight, and quite frankly, Barrera's finest hour - a masterclass. I'd seen Naz's rise from the amateur ranks in the UK and he always had the cockiness which was encouraged by Brendan Ingle. However in all his fights he had never come up against a seasoned Mexican fighter, and seeing how this weight was dominated by Latino fighters it looked like Hearn was being very picky with his fights. In short, Barrera gave him a boxing lesson and humbled him to the point of retirement - he lost the hunger to fight after that, only appearing once more in a low level fight in a leisure centre.
Yeah him, Julio Cesar Chavez and Juan Manuel Marquez are commentators still to this day, we don’t have ppv fights for mexican fighters (and some high profile fights in general) here in México, they are all free on tv and they are the commentators, so yeah fortunately they are doing well

Hamed always did a somersault over the ropes when he entered the ring in previous fights. The only time he didn't was this fight . It was to be his only loss.
Hamed was fast and flashy but did not have as much raw skill under all that as his hype train liked to suggest. This fight showed exactly how that kind of hype train will always end when confronted with experienced raw skill.
this was not the real Nas. He was so unfocused leading into this fight, and looked slower than ever before. Its a case of what might have been... and repeated broken hands stopped any chance of a comeback. at his best, and in the uk, my bet would have been in Nas
I initially didn't like Connor from the first time I saw him. Then I began liking him as I thought the antics were more about self promotion. Then he just began doing things that defined him as a jerk.

He was a twat, but he was no wimp. Anyone who gets in a boxing ring is tough -- one shot with some bad luck is enough to kill someone. He knew his veil of invincibility was shattered and he wouldn't be able to win the rematch.
Naz hand picked opponents then Antonio put him in is place
One of the most arrogant fighters I have ever seen. So disrespectfull! I would have loved, if got knocked out.
hubris was his issue.
Barrera!!!

I remember this fight. Naseem has won so many fights on the strength of his pure speed and athleticism. But he was such a heel that it was so satisfying to watch his comeuppance from such a skilled and meticulous boxer. Barrera's footwork, ferocity and tactics carried the day.
Exactly...
He fought bunch of nobodies in Europe, once he came to America he wasn't ready for Elite fighters, after his firs loss, Barrera was ready to give him a rematch in London and he never wanted to sign the rematch.

He turned out to be completely ego driven with no heart.
Effective yes, brutal no. He was blessed to be able to move like a rubber band. He wasn’t throwing devastating blows though. Like Floyd Jr they tire their opponents out with defensive tactics. Much easier to knock out a tired man.
He definitely wasn't used to getting punched in the face. The first round woke him up! ;-)

@@beatrizhugo2006 Well he didn't have to and he lost because he had a bad night, just like when Barrera took on Amir Khan.
No ressilence ? Did u even watch this video. How many shots he took
@@GamingDualities Not that type of physical resilience - there's no doubting that he took the beating - I mean his heart and his ability to respond in his career, learn from it and come back. He was broken. He was done.

He clearly deserved the win while Naseem, just as clearly, deserved the loss.

its easy to say when you've never been in the ring, I haven't but plenty of street fights, you've got to give respect to anyone that does, without a doubt, all it takes is a spit second lapse in consertration and its good night nurse, good idea to keep your guard up and not be cocky though.
I kind of had that notion as well. The fact that other quality fighters would pick up on this and perhaps use it against Hamed. Barrera did his homework, studied his opponent and worked the plan. And I told him about The Father YaHuWaH and Son, YaHuSHuWa and when he repeated YaHuSHuWa, we heard a loud ovation and he even said it was angels and we saw a horizontal rainbow and a cardinal was flying across it and we both said it was a miracle. But he is still muslim. Even though the LOUD CLAPPING OVATION happened when the muslim somali said YaHuWSHuWa.
No one was around us when the loud ovation happened and he was looking behind me and I was looking behind him to see where the ovation came from because the sound of the ovation surrounded us and my heart was pounding in fear like what just happened?
No matter how much I've stalled THE INEVITABLE FUTURE TIMELINE, THE INEVITABLE FUTURE TIMELINE will come into fruition.
1. The sick children will be healed with utterrance of THE NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES, YAHUWSHUWA.
2. The heavens will open on Earth for all to witness as the angels will commune with the healed children as the children heal the sick and feed the poor in THE NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES, YAHUWSHUWA.
3. The multitudes all over the world will learn of YAHUWSHUWA. As that is the true Good News that will be preached and demonstrated for them to witness.
4. AT THAT POINT THOSE MULTITUDES OF PEOPLE ALL OVER THE WORLD WHO CALLED UNTO YAHUWSHUWA TO FEED THE POOR AND HEAL THE SICK WILL KNOW THEY WILL NEVER DIE OR BE HURT DURING TRIBULATION.
5. THOSE HUMAN MULTITUDES WILL LOVE EVERYONE, EVEN THOSE WHO HATE THEM BECAUSE YAHUWSHUWA TAUGHT THEM THAT HIGHEST LEVEL OF LOVE WILL SHOW THAT YOU HAVE ARE SINCERE WHEN YOU CALL OUT TO YAHUWSHUWA. YOU WILL HAVE THE HOLY SPIRIT AND REALISE YOUR EXISTENCE WILL BE LOVE AND PARADISE.
6. THE ANGELS WILL SEPARATE THOSE WITH HATE IN THEIR HEARTS AND INTENTIONS OF VIOLENCE. AS THOSE WHO CALL UNTO YAHUWSHUWA WILL NEVER DO VIOLENCE EVER. SO THOSE WHO CHOSE TO FIGHT WILL BE DOING SIN.
7.THANKFULLY EARTH WILL BE CHANGED TO HEAVEN EVEN BEFORE THAT PROCESS, WE WILL BE WAITING AS OUR BODY PERMEATES WITH THE BEST FEELING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT DWELLING WITHIN US.
I FORGOT TO MENTION PEOPLE WILL BE RAISED FROM THE DEAD IN YAHUWSHUWA'S NAME AS THE SICK IS HEALED AND POOR BEING FED HAPPENS.

He shouldn’t wear the Islam on his shorts…this is not the Islam…Islam teaching us to be on the ground and not to be cocky like this one…even I don’t like this “prince” fighter
Prince said the first time he loses he is done and thats what happen but he said that in the beginning of his career so he stuck to his word...props to both great fighters Prince was a sight to see and Barrera had a HOF career himself so it was a great time in boxing back then
... really enjoyed seeing the "Prince of his own ego" getting owned. Pity the fight didn't go on to see him KO'd.
The corner slam was pretty symbolic as a win, check out Prince's face all dazed and confused while he is being held against the corner...
Better to just watch him get beaten the distance
yeah, i was glad that cocky little bastard was so outclassed.
@@raymondweaver8526 Nah - just save the KO till the last minute..
@@ronyeahright9536 And that "all" it took was stepping left... How could he get away with clowning to so many wins, is a joke..
Good breakdown sir thanks
@Jason Voorhees he would have eaten him crushed him up and then spat out the bones
Hamed was talented and entertaining, but when he fought a truly top ranked opponent he got found out
I mean I did hear he had problems with his hands but how true that is I don't know, if that was the case he should have retired instead of fought Barrera
@Jason Voorhees it's rare for a coward to get in the ring
Plus he took that beating from Barrera
I don't like the dude never did but IMO he's not a coward
@Jason Voorhees Kevin Kelley wasn't a bum, neither were Vuyani Bungu, Wayne McCullough, Steve Robinson to mention a few
@Jason Voorhees hardly relevant regarding the topic love. Get up to speed coco!🤡
Their careers before and after the fight are a great reminder that one fight, win or lose can change everything, great vid thanks for the memories
Mexican Skills in boxe are in another level!!❤
When the “jab, step left” defeats your entire plan of attack, can you even call yourself a boxer?
Great story, it brought tears to my eyes. Well done Barrera!

what a pleasure to watch , watching the "prince" getting schooled
Never liked that guy always wanted someone to knock him out
@Graf von Losinj I agree, it was beautiful to see him get the arrogance knocked out of him, but he was a showman for the crowd and he lost like a champ here too. No excuses made.
When cocky fighters get clipped it’s always satisfying to see. The cocky little prince threatened a reporter few years ago on uk tv, didn’t go down well…😒
Getting schooled or getting his ass seriously whooped
@Graf von Losinj if you think nobody in Britain loved seeing him get battered Kelly nearly busted him up but not close enough this was just a pleasure to watch a master on his game ,Latino Muslim Brit American don't matter it's the way it was done he humbley battered him no showboating just a wrecking ball with legs 😆
Best thing to happen to British boxing ever.....
100% agreed
👏🏼👏🏼 Well said
100% agree with that 👍🏼
Veeery easy to dislike...
My thoughts exactly! Barrera was fantastic in this! Completely dismantled Naseem! Loved it
Hamed in the 90's in the UK was idolised and in some ways rightly so.
Being born around the corner from Naz I can honestly say this was the most satisfying watch of all time.. and I am speaking on behalf of 99% of my neighbours aswell
did he beat your dad to the ground, or you just can’t stand an Arab athlete beating 36 western boxers?
@@faresal-huri643 no the kid was a midget next to me as soon as he came up against a true warrior the midget got his arse handed to him on a plate .. you can't get further west than Mexico 🤣🤣🤣
He was a very talented boxer, but also a showboating mouthy punk, and that never ends well. It was good to see him getting his overdue comeuppance.
I met they guy in one of his boxing gyms. A douche and a christian hater
I seen him not so long ago. A little fat man now!😁.
My wife once asked me "Is he really a Prince?" I replied no, just a dirtbox from Leeds.
Great video! Thank you for sharing!
Hamed sure smiled a lot for a guy losing the fight.
The six million dollars he received helped ease the pain.
@@francishunt562 He spent it on takeaways.
Must have watched this fight dozens of times, an absolute masterclass from Barrera. Love it.
Nadeem's entrance just showcased his arrogance. But his exit and final departure showcased his cowardice.
I was there in that time, but I had forgotten so much. Time wears away everything. Even memories.
Never knew what happened to Barrera after. That's awesome to hear he did so well.
Yeah him, Julio Cesar Chavez and Juan Manuel Marquez are commentators still to this day, we don’t have ppv fights for mexican fighters (and some high profile fights in general) here in México, they are all free on tv and they are the commentators, so yeah fortunately they are doing well
Being from Sheffield, I was a massive Hamed fan. Was gutted that night. Watching it now with the story, make me so happy to see him lose. 😂
Loved him when I was a kid, watching him as an adult however he deserved everything he got that night
Also from sheff, used to see nas drive around. Hes a lot more humble now.

even as a brit myself (from bradford too) i can categorically say ive always hated this guy! and it was so nice to see him humbled! and to never see him in the beautiful sport of boxing again.
Nadeem is Sheffield
Hamed always did a somersault over the ropes when he entered the ring in previous fights.
The only time he didn't was this fight .
It was to be his only loss.
didnt he say he was unwell and drained before the fight? or maybe he cut weight badly..cant remember
@@josephlee4443 He didn't train for the fight.
Ok so because he didn’t flip, he lost? 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hamed was fast and flashy but did not have as much raw skill under all that as his hype train liked to suggest. This fight showed exactly how that kind of hype train will always end when confronted with experienced raw skill.
He did have raw skill
@@norge5465 Yes. You are correct. He _did_ have raw skill. Just not as much as his hype suggested, and certainly not as much as Barrera.
He had crazy amounts of raw skill, but lacked discipline, and was far too arrogant.
this was not the real Nas. He was so unfocused leading into this fight, and looked slower than ever before. Its a case of what might have been... and repeated broken hands stopped any chance of a comeback. at his best, and in the uk, my bet would have been in Nas
Prince had a “karate” stance. Very quick in and out but less lateral movements. Marco was playing chess that night.
I remember watching this fight....man, it was sweet!!!
It was at this fight that Hamid realized what it meant to fight a real boxer.
This epic takedown of a true jerk is on par with Connor McGregor's crushing loss to his Russian nemesis. A well deserved humiliation.
I initially didn't like Connor from the first time I saw him. Then I began liking him as I thought the antics were more about self promotion. Then he just began doing things that defined him as a jerk.
Well said pal, legeng my arse!

You mean kabob the weight cut champion, he won't go anywhere he had to quit because 155 became impossible and didn't want to become exposed at 170 unlike Connor who is the 145 lb champion a 155 lb champion and is fighting at 170 you can take your kabob and just leave he's nothing but a phony
The moment Barrera grabbed the arrogant smiley clown and put him in the ring was epic! What a show that was!
I loved seeing Barrera get poleaxed by Junior Jones!
