I know it's not directly related, but the fact that Greek gods are more consistantly powerscaled through media than some comics characters like Batman is hilarious.

@@lonkstakes Yeah i'm more a fan of picking one version of a character that's closest to the source like how you did there. Sometimes it feels like some versions of some characters are directly written to not be powerscaled (like stuff you'd accuse of plot armor), or doesn't make alot of sense power-wise outside of the story it's written in, not to mention how certain criticised writers are still counted for their character's powerscaling just to make them more op than what they are originally
Actually, that gives me an idea. idk if you take requests like that, that are kinda 1st april thing worthy, but it would be funny comparing stuff like Sonic, knuckles and co. depicted by Sega VS their versions by Ken Penders. Or atleast, ideas like Evolution goku vs Movie Superman

@@good8619 you can scale them off of feats, for instance with hit, he can literally skip forward in time, goku bypassing this with raw speed and power puts him above time, also goku existing in a literal void that happened because the omni king destroyed not just a universe but a entire timeline proves that goku is above time. ie there are levels to infinity when it comes to speed, strength, ect.

@@lonkstakesbut tbf tho. The point the ancient greeks were trying to make was that the gods could destroy all of creation. My point being if they had the knowledge we do today, their statements on the gods would not change, they’d just be applied to the current understanding. For example lets assume (this isn’t true but lets just for the sake of the argument) that the greeks thought the whole universe was just the earth. Well of course when they say the Gods could destroy the universe they’d be referring to the earth. However if they KNEW the real size of the universe, they’d still say that the gods would destroy the actual universe. Because the *point* of those statements is to showcase that the gods are *gods*. Was i clear enough? Lol idk if i made my point clear.
@@datboy038 You was perfectly clear, that is what we like to call CONTEXT, something that the power scalers seems to ignore mostly. The shows want to show you that some character can destroy the universe, and affects it a lot, but they start counter argumenting and all that. That's why I consider thing like saying that characters like Zeno would be beaten everytime by other characters is ridiculous, Zeno is despicted as an unbeatable force that can obliterate all of creations regardless of scale, but because DB cosmology is not as big as DC or Marvel's one, then Zeno get's completely beaten by almost every deity in those verses. (I find entertaining the power scaling, but it's only when you ignore the context around a character when it comes to compare it to anothers). But anyways, your observation is pretty good

Damn if you think about it, if great ape vegeta was 180,000. He could've easily taken out the entire Ginyu force, including if not limited to Ginyu himself. Makes a lot more sense why Frieza chose to specifically keep Vegeta alive.

I must apply the implications of the Universal Calendar of the Geometrical Universe that implies that outside of the Cosmos, including our own star and every planet there is further infinities and the "Corners" you mentioned literally stretch out into those infinite ranges. Also, the Greeks were a lot more advanced than we somehow seem to always assume. They aren't Medieval People. We lost thousands of years of information due to the Fall of Rome and part of it was the fact that Greeks were already AWARE the Earth revolved around the Sun. In fact, the Heliocentric model of the universe was proposed by Aristarchus the same man who himself drew a graph of a Geocentric model of the universe, and then went on to improve upon it with fact.
We even knew about the rotation of Earth around the axis of the Sun, and were able to pinpoint events with levels of accuracy we couldn't manage again till the 1700's. Also, to add when you mentioned that some texts believe the Ocean is infinite... That's because they LITERALLY believed that Space, was water. They believed that the endless void of space we know now, was literally, a massive ocean that the Earth floated in. So yes, when they say infinite they're not being hyperbolic they unironically believe it to be infinite because they aren't referring to the same things as you are. Maybe not all Greek gods, but the famous Trio are obscenely into the Universal ranges especially considering information regarding the Primordials and the Titans who the God's (Mainly Zeus) usurped themselves. Being able to defeat the literal personification of life, death, time, and strength to name just a few. These aren't hyperbolic statements either, as the Primordials unironically predate the Universe and created it yet the Titans defeated them. Then, the gods usurped the Titans. It's pretty clear, the stronger Gods should be in these Universal to even conceptual levels of power just via the nature of the history.

2 there's the original Greek mythology who are much much much universal stronger and more altruistic.

One thing that would be funny and very intreasting would be Accelerator vs The Greek Gods, (Accelerator is from the Toaru Majutsu no Index series) it would be intreasting mainly because of Accelerator ability being one of the most broken ability of all time i say. Pretty good video, always love to see Greek god scaling as a fan of Greek Mythology. And despite what it may seem like the PJO gods are fairly powerful. Percy is only able to “beat” Ares because 1) Ares wasn’t taking him seriously and was playing with him as a baby would play around with their food and 2) The majority of the time we see the gods they aren’t in their true divine forms which are SIGNIFICANTLY more powerful with just them transforming into their true from being able to evaporate any mortal that’s looking. And unlike the GoW gods they are actually immortal and can’t be killed in battle, heavily beaten up sure but they won’t die, the closet to them “dying” is fading which doesn’t come from any combat related means. A bunch of good calcs have them at planet - star level
if you ever do a Late Z or Super continuation of this, you should check in on the primordials
From my understanding of them, they're basically the predecessors of the universe as the ancient greeks knew it, both physical and conceptual. I wouldn't call them omnipotent because if I remember correctly some have died, but they're so powerful that Zeus see the primordials as we would see the regular pantheon, he wouldn't put a dent in them if he tried.
The Mythology Guy talked about them a few times and he's pretty knowledgeable on this topic so if there's any information you may have missed or you wanna learn about, I'd say you should check him out

Vegeta would not last against GOW Zeus the man is actually immortal, it took Kratos an entire pantheon of weapons and hax and even then, that did not kill him, infact Fear Zeus one shot Kratos and it took the POH to ultimately kill him
To be fair, Myth Zeus survived having all his tendons removed by Typhon, and similar gods like Kronos survived being chopped into pieces
In mythology they can't die at all too supposedly, by any means. Now the Greeks did not take into account stuff like DB would ever exist or characters like Anti-Spiral who's throwing entire universes, but safe to say they are 100% Immortal. And the primordials are far stronger than the Titans and gods.

Iirc in the myth of her birth, when Zeus ate her mother he did so in fear of the prophecy of his future 2 children, just like Uranus and Chronos died to their respective children, it was told that the children Zeus would have with that woman would be as strong and then stronger than him, eventually defeating him, and knowing that only the first one, the equal to Zeus, was born as Athena, that would make some difference in the scaling
You really should've looked into as many big hero myths as possible for scaling purposes, cuz I hear the feat of Heracles firing at the Sun is 2% SOL or something. Not Vegeta's speed, but my point stands, there isn't nothing.

What are you smoking? The Saiyans would get wiped by the LESSER gods due to the immortality they possess alone as they can outlast the Saiyans. Not to mention Hades can summon an army of undead and become undetectably invisible. And that's just one of the other gods.
That just gives the Greek Pantheon a max power level of 10 billion.

Well, this is consistent with my piece of knowledge to Zeus' power:
He is afraid of Nyx, who is the Night. Not the night sky, but the Night.
She is the darkness of the universe, she is there when the sun is not.
Which we, by our modern understanding would mean, she is basically The Void of Space.
No way in hell can a simple planet buster take out the entire void of even _just_ a single solar system.
I think the gods are far beyond star level and would ultimately win. But vegeta would be fat beyond star level generously speaking. Dodoria had a PL of 22k and vegeta completely destroyed him with a PL of 24k. PL aren't linear, vegeta would be dozens of times stronger than king vegeta with his hands not counting his Galic gun which makes him 2-3x stronger. Which would make his great ape form all the more impressive. But I think zues is a universe buster so it doesn't matter how strong vegeta is

Later Goku holding back moves so fast that Master Roshi can't even see him. While Master Roshi would be FTL too.
He even had a kame so strong it was stated to be able to power entire stars.
King piccolo states he will destroy the world if he's annoyed.
Goku is so outmached that Mr. Popo eats his kame, and Kami flicks him away.
But after training he's so strong that with a hole in his chest barely standing his able to defeat Piccolo junior who stated he's 1000 stronger than: Kuririn, Roshi, Tien, Chaoz, Kami, Yajirobe all at once while heavily injured.
With the power level of 400 he was over 1000 times stronger than Kami and the others, while being heavily injured and while kami earlier flicked his world buster power with 1 finger.
A punch is roughly 375 times stronger than a finger flick.
It would mean that Goku at this point would be at least 375000 stronger than kami while injured who flicked Goku, who defeated King Piccolo, who was planetary at a highball.
Db earth is at least a few times bigger than our earth.
There are even arguments for 4 billion x earth due to dr slump.
End of og db Goku is MFTL+ with solar system - multi solar system level of power.
He then trains for years till Raditz fight. And trains with King Kai for Saiyans. getting from 400pl to 8000pl.

Hey Lonk, could you do a breakdown of ki and it's various applications/hax in the series?
It feels to me that at first glance ki just gives superhuman stats, flight, and energy blasts. But when you look into it there are a lot of rarely used potentially OP applications of ki, like teleportation or time skipping.

Might be weak argument but since there are still a few people who worship the Greek pantheon (estimates 1-2% of the population of Greece so about 100,000 estimated) and they still believe the things in the myths wouldn’t they scale to the current universe

Greek Gods are WILDLY inconsistent, cause in some myths they're all doing crazy stuff like turning a regular ass scorpion into a constellation or Zeus throwing lightning bolts so hard that he hurts the concept of Chaos itself, but in another myth Thanatos, the personification of DEATH, gets punked by a dude pulling a ''oh, what nice chains you have! Can I see them closely?'' before being stuffing the deity in a trunk like a wuss. DEATH gets punked in mythology. It's crazy.

@@lonkstakes Observable universe isn't the same as the whole universe. Observable universe is finite, but it only means how far we can measure it. The whole universe is infinite, it was always infinite since the Big Bang and probably even before that and it will always be infinite, even in the scenario of the Big Crunch. Spatial infinity never changes, the only thing that changes is the compaction of the universe.

Technically, you could get Vegeta to Solar System level if you take the statement of the earth being 4 billion km in size from the Dr. Slump series. Though, admittedly, I think it's exclusive to the anime.
It's ironic watching this video where "infinite" is not treated as the modern day interpretation of infinite but rather what the culture of the time interpreted as infinite, but in the Sun Wukong video infinite is treated as the modern day interpretation of infinite which didn't really get started until the 1920s, and everything was taken at its most literal modern day interpretation for the sake of making Wukong as powerful as possible even though "infinite" was literally just a concept of how many unknowable things there are rather than the actuality of how many things there are.
There's even a whole series of debates about infinity and Buddhism because it implies that there is no beginning of existence and that everyone alive has existed in the cycle of rebirth for an infinite amount of time which raises the question of why we aren't all buddhas if we're all infinite beings and is compared to the "infinite monkey theory" which states that even a monkey just randomly typing on a keyboard for an infinite amount of time will eventually create every text that has ever existed out of pure coincidence.
I like some of the research shown in these videos, but man a lot seem to have some hypocritical bias and contradictory interpretations (let's also ignore the fact that some of the references used in this video were from Roman myths and not Greek).

It really depends on if you consider the gods planetary or higher. If they are only planetary-star level, they are probably screwed. But if they are beyond star level, let alone Universal+ entities, Vegeta is absolutely boned lol.
