Was there. One of many, many live concerts. I have seen Mary Black so many times. She is amazing. My children were reared on her music. They could sing before they could talk.Mary Black, Frances Black, Paul Brady,Brian Kennedy and offcourse Van Morrison. Later Hot House Flowers,Tommy Fleming. Proud to be Irish. ☘☘☘☘
I guess that I have that Irish thing. This kind of music touches my heart. Wonderful stuff! No special effects, no sexual appeal, no extremely high notes to impress. Just wonderful, transcendent voice and simple music. It is a taste of heavenly things to come when I go home to be with my Lord.
I play this piece in my car often on my CD player. A beautiful and amazing song by a beautiful and amazing singer! Mary made this song ripple with truth!
I was at this concert.Certainly one of the best. The Ulster Hall has such a wonderful vibe.I have seen Mary Black many, many times. If I look back on life these concerts and the singing of Mary Black have been a highlight.Thank you Ms. Black and band.☘️
I am very envious of you Jane. I absolutely love Mary and her work. But to be fair, I saw her a few years ago in Utrecht and it wasn't as magical as I would have hoped (understandable, as everyone ages). Still love her old recordings.
@@marcopolo5150 The voice deteriorates with age.I could sing when i was younger but would struggle now.Mary Black still sounds good but she like the rest of us is aging. Her children are all singers now.Like my children middle aged. Time waits for no man.
I adore this woman. There is nothing more peaceful and beautiful than listening to Mary’s voice. Thank you, Ireland (from her fans in the USA).

Conocí a esta gran artista en la década de los 80 gracias a la familia O Keeffe de Tralee. Toda una maravilla.

Voice like Irish Butter.
"Love is just around the corner" I don't know about that, Mary.
