I just got the Ketuo Triad based off your video and while i like it I'm surprised you didn't talk about its biggest con imo. The blade is too short for no reason. It could easily be 1/4" longer but they chose to wrap the backspacer all the way around eating up blade room. With another 1/4" the ratio would be perfect but now it look a little small for the handle.
This is my first video of yours and you really seem to have a love for blades. I'm wanting to upgrade my everyday knife for 2024 and I currently carry a Kershaw Leek and I LOVE it..... but the blade dulls quick and I would love to have a button lock. I was wondering if I could maybe get a recommendation from you for one that is flat and thin like the Leek but has a button lock and a better edge for work. I cut rubber hoses, mud flaps, poly plastic type materials etc. I know some of those probably shouldn't be handled with a pocket knife but hey, it's there in my back pocket. My budget would allow for no more than $150 reasonably unless it's just a work of art.
@@acbigal thank you 🙏 Button lock brings to mind Protech immediately but those are pricey. I got the Vosteed Racoon button lock when it came out and still think it’s a nice solid slicer. I think Vosteed has ironed out their button lock failure issues. It is affordable and 14c28n. And then you have the CJRB Pyrite series of button locks that people really seem to like. I don’t have experience with them though. Hopefully others will pipe up with good recommendations. It’s always nice to go over and see what is being offered on the secondary market at r/Knife_swap. Good people over there and you could get a deal on a premium knife that is still in budget. All the best to you
See. Told ya 2 years ago. Early detents are better then detent ramps. No doubt. Cause if you put a ramp on an early detent it basically makes it later if you know what i mean. By the time you get off the ramp its not early anymore

I just started sharpening and have only used green and black compound wax but want to try a gunny juice diamond emulsion what micron would you recommend for my single strop and do you recommend smooth flesh side or rough side of leather? Bestech won't do magnacut more than 62 even if they say higher hardnesses. Same for m390 or 20cv... 60 max even if advertised higher. Pretty sure they dont use cryo also. Rike ranges 57 to 60 also so good seeing 61 on those ketuo models. 20cv from koncept is basically just as bad as kizers. Prices should be lower at those hardnesses for these manufacturer's.
i love the titan, i hate the machining lines on the blade tho, it feels unfinished to me. give me sand blasted or stone washed or mirror polish, literally anything...
The giant ass lanyard cutout just ruins the lines of that first knife, because it’s absolutely gorgeous otherwise. But I guess that’s not all bad news, it saves me some money.. 😁
I have to agree. All bangers. That Ketuo seems to have a lighter spring looking at the bounce back. Digging that lil Bade Modern Design. That Kansept looks bada$$. But that H.A.L.T. My God 🔥🔥🔥A 50/50 choil in my opinion would take it over the moon but As is its still one the dopest knives ive seen lately. Awesome awesome job Louis. Congrats on finally getting it out there. Like 90% of knives aren't really sharp from the factory. It would be nice if they were, but IMO it's not really a negative for that knife in particular.
