For the first 1000km, the engine should not be revved to high RPMs. At 1000km, the first check-up and oil change are due, and only after that is it okay to ride normally. But the bike is rented, so it doesn't really matter, right?
After 2 years on the versys 650 which was great I’m getting my NT with DCT tomorrow. I don’t do much touring but some commuting and many city drives so I’m kind of looking at it as a big scooter.
I do want to know an owner's perspective which is why I just transferred $15k....to my own account so I can experience it first hand and save you all that trouble.

Death wobble and high engine heat💀 killed the ST1300. I loved my ST1100 but the ST1300 was a step back in refinement. This modern platform makes more sense now...except for maybe the chain drive.

I think it may be too big... I have got NC 700S DCT. It is the best City bike 😊
Anything over a 300cc is overkill in the city. But enjoy your toys. Not blaming you :v
