Am I mistaken? Hartenstein was not a starter when Robinson was healthy so all you need not to over pay for a backup Center.

Last season Hartenstein was 1st in the NBA in Defensive EPM(Minimum 60games). Literally 1st. He absolutely cannot be replaced

The offense would be much better than last year with a small ball lineup of Randle Bridges Anunoby DeVincenzo Brunson. No weaknesses on offense. It's a really good team and would be really tough to defend with a lot of quality everywhere on offense out there.
The problem is defense. Randle is not a rim protector, but the need for one may not be as crucial because you've got Bridges and Anunoby around.
If guards are getting to the hole or if the opposing lineup's size becomes a problem, you can always bring in Robinson to mitigate the defensive issues. The offense would suffer.
I wouldn't go trading the store for a center. At least not until they show that a small ball lineup featuring Randle at the five doesn't work defensively

The Knicks have a lot of firepower in scoring potential we just need that centerpiece that we lost in iHeart

If we can get Walker Kessler for Deuce, that would be a heist. That kid would be a star in thibs system

I don't understand all the handwringing over Hartenstein. The writing was clearly on the wall - OKC had the $ and they're a great team. Just like Thanos, it was inevitable. I like the idea of trading Deuce and 2nd rounders for Kessler (if at all possible). But I think Precious did an outstanding job as a fill-in 4 and 5. You could do a lot worse than him. That might be the move.

Knicks are not a title contender unless Randle plays like an MVP in the playoffs and Mitch stays healthy. Neither has happened so far. Still a lot more work to do! Go Knicks!!!

At the moment I don't think we can get someone to replace iHeart unless you trade Deuce McBride and precious I'm sorry but I'm not getting rid of Julius randle

Someone remember to remind Leon Rose what OKC did to NY Knicks and their fans to get revenge. They stole IHart and made the Knicks lose a C. Knicks shall never forget this heist! They signed IHart intentionally putting him out of reach for Knicks. Now the Knicks have no back up C and scrambling to get one in FA or trade

You guys are really overreacting. I Hart was good, but he wasn't the reason why the Knicks went as far as they did. You say give the front office the benefit of the doubt, but then you guys doubt the roster. Typical.
